The minus 1 star was only because the food doesn't taste that impressive. It tastes good, but it didn't wow me. The crust is burnt but the middle of the pizza isn't fully fully cooked. I mixed Spinach and Romaine as the base and added shaved Parm, Chicken, Tomatoes and Green Peppers with their Green Goddess dressing on the side. The best part is the combo they offer. It's Blaze Pi Day today! It was drizzling outside but that didn't keep us from getting our pizza! $3.14 for an11 inch pizza with all the toppings you want! I got to build my own pizza! We were warmly greeted by one of their staff who opened the door for us. There was a line but the food preppers were moving in lightning speed :) so we got to place our orders fast. Food- we had 3 simple pie (2 high rise and 1 keto) and cheesy bread. High rise 4/5 - it does seem a touch thicker then i recall, not a complaint but i do prefer the older portion a little better which i give a 5/5, but still great. Keto - it was interesting, over all it would give it a 3/5. it is thin style and maybe if anything a touch dry, but i can't say that for sure as i didn't eat it fresh, it was a re-heat a couple days later. First time here and actually, if I could rate higher, it'd be off the charts. I loved this pizza! Best and most crispy, delicious cauliflower crust I've EVER had. I also loved how I could choose EVERYTHING on the build your own pizza for $10.45 and the price stayed at $10.45- with the exception of the cauliflower crust, which was $4 and WELL worth it! Spinach, quartered artichoke hearts, kalamata olives, and roasted garlic are offered along with all the favorite toppings and many different assorted meats, including spicy chorizo. I had the spicy pizza sauce, which was perfect. There is also the club soda option for the free water cup, which I like. My combo includes spicy marinara sauce, fresh garlic, pepperoni & sausage, jalapenos and a healthy amount of mozzarella cheese. The staff cannot be any friendlier, I want to be friends with all of them. Lunch and dinner rush are no joke but they have always kept their calm and cool attitude. Went here the other day for dinner with a friend due to the fact we were working late and this place tends to be open a little later than most places. This is a counter service place where you order, get a number and then they cook it and bring it to your table. We both ordered a build your own pizza on cauliflower crust (personally I think their cauliflower crust is the best one they have). While I won't bore you with all the topping we got, I will say that they have traditional and non- traditional toppings to choose from and a wide variety. A couple of my faves are the roasted garlic and roasted red peppers. I also ordered a Caesar salad which was good and I learned that you can add veggie toppings for free. We found our seats and there was ample seating due to the later hour, but the place was also doing steady pick up and carry out orders also. When the pizzas arrive, they were loaded with toppings but I felt mine was a little burnt. Not super noticeable but every once in a while, I would taste char as opposed to pizza. While it is a little more expensive than your standard fast food/ fast casual place, it is a good meal and you have some options to make it healthy. read more

Extremely happy to find another Vegan friendly place in Jacksonville! At first was not too excited about eating at blaze as it reminds me of a fast food establishment. To say the least, the pizza and salad are so delicious, the staff is super friendly and the pricing is reasonable. The only thing I would like to see next time is a cleaner bathroom and paper towels to dry hands. I decided to keep it safe and just do all meats with extra cheese, along with an order of cheesy bread. Once I paid, I waited about 10 minutes before my order was being delivered to my table. The pizza was good but next time I would probably do fresh mozzarella to hopefully avoid the pizza crust getting a little soggy. But the cheesy bread was AMAZING!!!! We stopped in for dinner tonight. My son wanted pizza. So we go up to the counter to order. I got the half pizza with a salad. My son got a pizza with 1 topping. My husband got the higher rise crust pizza with 2 toppings. We also got an order of the garlic cheese bread with pesto. Sauce and cheese come standard on all pizzas. They have a regular red sauce or a spicy sauce or a white cream sauce or a garlic pesto sauce. My husband opted for the spicy sauce and we got the regular. The pizza was good, but it was a little bland. Next time I would add an olive oil drizzle and sea salt. We also got the s'mores treat and a chocolate chip cookie. The s'mores treat was not a hit, but the chocolate chip cookie was delicious! I could have eaten a dozen of those. My salad was so, so good!! And it was enormous!! The garlic pesto cheese bread was delicious! That was probably my favorite part of the meal. I also liked my husband's high rise dough pizza crust more than my thin and crispy. I would do that next time. Also I learned this place had a lot of vegan options!! Which is good to know. I have family that is vegan so this will be a good spot to take them too! Disclaimer: If I was someone who'd never tried Blaze Pizza (BP) before, this meal would've impressed and earned a "good" rating. But I had been around their fire oven too many times and knew better. For years now, BP has become my go-to fast pizza purveyor. I expect and always receive quality. But a major drawback of "consistency" is that any rare mess-up is easily detected. I ate a late Sunday lunch at this busy location. My "half pizza plus pesto garlic cheesy bread" order was typical affair. Sadly, both food items were undercooked, only about 80% on the journey to being addictively charred--which'd be 100% against the single selling point of using a fire oven. I ate something closer to a reheated frozen pizza but paid gentrified pricing. That wasn't all. Meat portions--pepperoni and sausage--were skimpier than usual. I had requested a plain red sauce and a spicy version along with the cheesy bread, but two plains were provided. The app failed to recognize and apply a couple of rewards on my account. Of course, one blemish in a long record of near perfection could just be by chance (and not coincidence or pattern). As long as Blaze Pizza doesn't become complacent, I'll keep seeking my favorite pie. read more
