I love their pies! I order online and request 'well done'. Always perfect! Once I popped in when they were completing 20 orders. I received the wrong pizza, but I loved it. Always order from San Jose Boulevard. I have never had any complaints before. First had total disaster with app trying to order so called in and talked to Zachary who helped me. He was great, but when husband picked up order, he was supposed to have gotten a large thin crust three pepperoni pizza. Mine was a medium, meatball pepperoni, regular crust pizza. Pizza was dry with no sauce. No cheese meatballs were dried out. I have never had such a bad pizza from this pizzeria before totally disappointed .Really would like a refund on this medium pizza. I have never complained about any of their pizzas before but this one was a total disappointment and totally not worth the money. I would 100% chose them over another competitor such has dominos or Pizza Hut which are mostly tired and flavorless. We got the pepperoni magnifico which has the little cup peps on it, so good! And they add Parmesan cheese to the crust which really kicks it up a notch, i usually don't eat the crust but i couldn't resist this time! It was also affordable with some coupons they advertised. Located in the Publix shopping center off San Jose and Mandarin rd I had heard of Marcos pizza and wanted to try it, so when i saw they were having a grand opening with free pizzas, i thought perfect time to stop in! I got a thin crust with green peppers and i have to say it was delicious! I really liked the thin crust! It was crunchy and the perfect amount of sauce, cheese and peppers...i brought it home and we all devoured it in minutes! I liked they cut it into squares instead of traditional slices... all around really good! I have tried their traditional crust before and didn't love it, too bready for me, my recommendation would be to stick with the thin crust! We will go back! read more

The best part about this restaurant is the location and the clean premises. The food and the customer service will fall well below your basic expectations. This is the third and last Marco's Pizza that I will give my custom. Each one I have visited has failed in one way or another. A friend coerced me into giving this new location a try. Sadly this location did not disappoint my expectations. We were greeted by a young man that did not seem to even know much about the product or the availability of what the location sold. While they state on the take out and posted wall menu, that they sell fountain drinks, we were informed that it is incorrect. They only sell bottled drinks and that they do not have ice. It also seems that they were also out of any size of cups. Later on, they were able to find the last two cups that they had in the back. While there is seating, my friend asked if this was really a take out location and the young man replied with a "yeah" After some confusion, my friend's order was completed by the associate. I moved forward for him to take my order, but he had turned around and moved back towards the kitchen doorway and kept his back to me while he started to have a personal conversation with another employee. Another employee came from the back and saw me standing there and asked if I was being helped. As I started to say no, the young man turned around and did a poor job of apologizing for his error. I ordered an Italian sub and asked if they had "diet" drinks like 7up. The young lady said they did not have 7up but they had sierra mist. Our orders were brought to the table. Nowhere on the menu did it state that the sub was to be baked(hot) nor was I asked if I would like that to happen to mine. The Sierra Mist brought to the table was not a diet drink. My first bite into my sub oozed out oil from the heated ham, salami, and cheese onto my sweatshirt. The entire sub was like an oil slick. Advertizing to be "one of the fastest-growing pizza chains in America" is not a big deal when your product and customer service is a failure. Dear Manager - If you run out of drinking cups, I suggest you send one of your employees to the NEXT DOOR Publix and have them buy enough until your new Marcos inventory arrives. Update your menus to reflect what you really sell at YOUR location. Have your employees ask if your customer wants their Sub baked or not. Provide better instruction on customer service to the teenage/ 20 something staff. read more

Marcos Pizza San Jose Blvd Mandarin: The best this place has to offer is an exemplary manager professional enough to offer replacing the pie on my complaint. Ordered their extra large pepperoni special and how disappointed we were. Very SKIMPY on their "famous" sauce though cheese & pepperoni was excellent. The dough is very thick and spongy, no crusty bottom. Honestly, the Little Caesars Pie we had several weeks ago was much better all around. First & last for Marcos! Was really wanting pizza so when we got a coupon in the mail today we decided to give Marco's (San Jose) a try. Tried ordering online which didn't work so called it in instead. About 30-35 minutes later our pizzas, 1 lg pepperoni & 1 lg cheese & a order of Cinnasquares were at our door. We really enjoyed the pizzas and my wife enjoyed the Cinnasquares. The thing other than enjoying the taste was that 20-30 minutes "after" arrival the food was still warm, almost unheard of normally from a pizza delivery so I was most impressed!!! Never ordering again. No one seems to follow directions and food does not seem to be fresh. I asked for a Greek salad and to omit the olives and banana peppers. Half my salad was that. And the lettuce was brown.. not even edible. Salad dressing pack was already open, so obviously people who work there don't check for accuracy or quality. Pizza? Luke warm at best. Cheese sticks? He couldn't find any order from me! Finally informed me that store didn't deliver in Mandarin! Internet didn't mention any of this snafu! They had been having communication problems for over a week so my order was cancelled! The managertold me to call the San Jose store & speak with their manager, John, give him my order & he'd help me! It's now 6:25 PM! The Racetrack Manager called John & gave him a heads up on my problem' When I spoke with John he was so careful with details & time for delivery! I couldn't have been happier! He not only filled that order himself but also made those special pizzas to be sure I would be satisfied serving them to my guests! I have to report they were the very best pizzas I've had in Jacksonville! The quality of the food & the service was excellent! Thank you, John! Believe me you have a customer for life! Marcos's Pizza is becoming my favorite pizza chain! It definitely beats out the rest of the crowd. They have reasonable prices, great quality, oozing cheese, and the friendliest employees. I was able to introduce my boyfriend to them, and he was a fan as well. I was able to place my order over the phone for pickup, which was faster than ordering on the app. The guy who took my order, whom I later learned his name was Eric, was friendly and even gave me a coupon to lower my total. I ended up paying $14 for an XL pizza, half cheese and half pepperoni with extra cheese. It was ready in 15 minutes, and I earned points on my Marcos Rewards. I have to laugh at the moronic business practices, especially of new businesses. Recently moved into the neighborhood and there was an empty pizza bix with an ad to call and get a free pizza and welcoming us to the neighborhood. Well when I called I was told the pizza is actually not free but will cost me $4.81 cents. I said what for, and I was told that is what the tax was. When I said the pie would been at least $50.00 for the tax to be that much I was met with the old excuse, "well that is the way the system rings it up. I than asked to speak to the manager and the order taker than said she has the authorization to give me a free Pizza. At that point I told her I was no longer interested and was greeted with a "whatever" and hung up on abruptly. First night here I went to NY Pizza and had a delicious pie and lovely experience. Be careful ordering from this place. Bait and switch. The Manager tells me they are a franchise operation, and so they do not have to comply with the corporate website offers. The Hot Deals menu quotes a great price; and when I arrive at carryout, the price to pay is higher than that specified in the online offer. Staff is friendly, and there's always a deal available. The pizza itself is always good. Not NYC Italian restaurant good, but way better than a chain should be. Since our favorite pizza place recently closed we have been on the hunt for a new favorite near our home. Well we keep hearing about Marco's Pizza and saw a review of them on a morning show and thought we would try them out once they opened and worked out a few of the "new establishment " kinks. Well, as far as the Original Crust pizza goes, my husband thought it was great, I thought it was a little bit doughy and didn't have the New York style pull that I would like with an Original Crust pie. So, in that regard I will continue my hunt for the right New York style I can find in this area. However, I really enjoyed their Thin Crust Pizza, it was a good form thin crust and had some flavor. Let's face it, some taste like freezer card board pizza crust, theirs definitely did not. I found the sauce s tiny bit too sweet got my taste, but they are very generous with their topping for both of the pies we ordered. I wish them well, but not my slice of pie. read more

Went to pick up an order this afternoon but had difficulties using their credit card system for payment. After close to 10 minutes of trying to get their system to work, The cashier asked the manager to come to the front for assistance who responded to even his own staff in a rude manner saying, "Wait!" after not responding initially to his employees request for help. Chris was the manager's name. Rather than apologizing for the inconvenience, as their system was down due to Internet connection issues, he became defensive and disrespectful. Making comments such as, "We're only taking card, you can go walk to Publix and pay that way." No apology, no credit for a future purchase, nothing. I understand the system being out of service was outside of their control, but in the customer service business, you take accountability for an inconvenience like this. Outside of the manager Chris, the front desk staff were very kind and apologetic and at least made an effort to solve the issue. I will not be coming back to this establishment. Well the owner of this Marcis franchise emailed me, apologized and said I would receive a full credit on my credit card for my purchases that day in October which would appear on my credit card within 3-4 days plus a credit at his store for 2 medium size pizzas.. that was over a month ago and neither has been applied. Marco's Pizza Review Beautiful place that takes COVID precautions. This place is amazing!!! Small and quaint, no rush. When it comes to the food quality and quantity, I took the pizza bowl (make your own style), it came in a decent lunch size for $8.55. The ingredients are so carefully cooked and put together to create a crustless pizza in a bowl! The cheese is perfectly cheesy, the sauce is very tasty, the chicken is well cooked and succulent. When it comes to affordability, the prices are just right. Specialty items are a little more than their regular counterparts. EX: Small Pizza $6.99 and Specialty Small $10.99. Finally, when it comes to staff, they have the best of the best, the cashier is very nice and patient, so are the other staff. 5/5 well done! Best time to go is now!! No rush, no risk for COVID-19. The man that helped us at the register had great customer service and he even honored a coupon that was only for other locations. We had the deluxe pizza with the Romano Parmesan cheese and it was delicious. We also tried the cheese pizza and it was great. I will be taking my business here instead of Pizza Hut.
