We weren't greeted, offered water, handed menus, or even acknowledged with a simple, "We'll be right with you." There were several employees working--servers outside and multiple people in the kitchen--yet no one ever approached us. The lack of service was disappointing, but what made it worse was how unwelcome we felt from the moment we walked in. The looks we received made us feel like we didn't belong there, and that isn't how any customer should feel when trying a new restaurant. We eventually got up and left to eat next door, where we were immediately welcomed and served. I visited this spot on a busy Saturday afternoon, the mall was buzzing with people and the busloads of tourists were filing in. The line was a bit long and its mostly due to the ordering process being a little slow for the "slower" customers that are indecisive and don't know what they want. Its pizza! How the hell do you not know what toppings you like?! Once the inconsiderate customers get through the line you get to chose your type of crust and toppings, I went with a build your own that was passed down the line to different employees which works efficiently well if you stay on your toes. I noticed some customers getting a little flabbergasted when someone else started working with them and its usually due to the customer being distracted by their kids(smack them), phone (swipe right you're being picky) or bajillion shopping bags from shopping all day(the sales aren't even that good). The employees aren't a personal pizza shopper people they have a station to command and move you down the line. I got my toppings sorted out, and reached the cashier which offered me a smile and a dessert on the side. I opted for the bomb looking brownie and after about 6-7 minutes they yelled out my name letting me know my pizza was ready. This is where some of the customers mess up sometimes and try to take your pizza because they aren't attentive since they have a phone addiction, so stay alert! I enjoyed my pizza in their dining room and the store was clean, the to go boxes, cheese and peppers were readily available but watch out as some customers hoard them, don't feel bad if you have to go up to them and ask if they're finished with them (don't be shy). My pizza was cooked perfectly and I even got a little bbq drizzle and ranch from the dude cutting pizzas. Also try the brownie warmed up, its amazing! Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Customers 5/10 (its a mall and some people suck) TLDR version: (too long, didn't read) The food was great, the location makes this place sporadically busy but the employees get it done. Ps most of the 1-2 star reviews are coming from what sounds like pissy people that probably have a lot of personal stuff affecting them. Get a therapist y'all and stop being so sensitive. read more

My family and I had went to the blaze pizza located in Ontario Mills, the person who was making out pizza he was so unprofessional, and unhygienic, his name was Jonathan. He wasn't even telling me his name I asked another guy for his name. Before he made the pizza he was touching his beard, we asked him to wash his hand but he just ignored us and out on gloves and while I was talking to my husband to ask for the topping he started to touch his beard again, it was super unhygienic I did ask him once again if he can please change his gloves and he Just completely went off on me saying I shouldn't come here if I don't think it's a clean place. We are paying for our pizza, we aren't buying to for free you know. So coming to a restaurant where we are paying for the food and get this type of attitude is very unprofessional. We have been to many MOD pizza, and blaze pizza, and honestly this was my worst experience. Embarrassing me in front of my husband saying that I should come here if this is a clean place? Like why was he touching his beard and making our pizza? We bought the pizza because I didn't want the food to go to waste and I had left it outside for somebody else to eat who may need it. But money is not an issue but having such unprofessionally trained employees is a big issue. Everyone else was super sweet and nice, but the fact that Jonathan thinks it's okay to have this unprofessional behavior is NOT ok. As a business owner myself, I do believe that blaze pizza employees do need to be trained again before getting hired, blaze should ask their employees to either COVER their beard with a mask at least because there was a beard hair in my pizza as well. I just had a great experience at Blaze Pizza, and I'm genuinely happy with everything from start to finish. The ability to build your own pizza with fresh ingredients and creative combinations made the whole meal feel personal and exciting. The crust was perfectly crisp from the fire oven, and every bite was flavorful--especially with that finishing drizzle of pesto! The staff was friendly and efficient, making the ordering process easy and stress-free. Even though the place was busy, they kept things moving and made sure customers were taken care of. Shone was the guy who cut my pizza he was very slow and got my pizza mixed up. This goes out to luz!! I walked in with my family @6:10pm we we're about to order pizza when all the alarms started to go off inside the mall. Within seconds mall security was telling everyone to evacuate the building. Right away Luz let me know that as soon as they would allow everyone back in she would be happy to help me. I watched as she kept her cool letting guest know that we couldn't go inside just yet and keeping her employees calm. One mall security came over to update us that they are trying to figure out what caused the alarms to go off and to keep everyone out while they can figure it out. I hope that everyone who tried coming in during this unexpected situation was understanding. Poor employees had no idea what was going on and if they could continue to operate for the rest of the night. read more

As I was doing some retail therapy, I stumbled along blaze pizza. It's on the opposite side of the food court which was great because during lunch and on a Friday the food court was a ZOO! Well the whole mall is! I walked in and as I was looking at the menu I was immediately greeted by Sandy as she was cleaning the dining area. I'm pretty positive I looked like a deer caught in the headlights as I stared at the menu board, but the ordering process was explained to me and I was helped along down the line as I built my custom pizza. Very friendly staff I'd say! They have different toppings you can choose from which benefits those picky eaters! A build your own pizza spot where I get to chose how I want it, c'mon how would I pass that up. I came in on 11/11/16 for my first time and my boyfriend had to bring my pizza back for a remake. I talked to Yas which is one of the managers and she was very accommodating and sorry for the mistake and even gave me a drink for free. I liked the whole build your own pizza and like that they have fresh veggies and the new cookie is a great meal finisher. I was greeted by a tall gentleman who was very friendly and the rest of the staff on line was great. He tried to argue with my mom (ironically) to claim I was arguing with him and made a hand gesture to his head as if I was stupid to understand. My daughter was hungry but I had to let her know we would not be purchasing anything else from this location. I've never had a bad experience at any subway I've ever been to but this was not ok by any means.
