Blaze Pizza has one of the best mushroom pizzas. I like the fact they let you modify the orders. You can add other ingredients to the orders. This location was very clean and well maintained. The drink fountain area was clean too. Overall, this is a great option to grab quick lunch on the go. Parking can be challenging, but if you don't mind walking. Finding parking can be easy. I stopped into this Blaze Pizza on a Monday around 3 p.m. with my son and daughter while we were halfway home. We were running on ZERO food, starving, and walked into Blaze super excited because we genuinely love Blaze Pizza. Boy, was this location a disappointment. They were out of NINE different menu items! Three desserts were unavailable, and the rest were pizza and salad toppings. For a restaurant whose entire concept is about building your own pizza or salad, being out of that many ingredients at 3 p.m. on a Monday is absolutely horrible. My son and daughter did their best to build a pizza with what was available, along with a pesto bread. Sadly, with so many options missing, I ended up skipping food altogether for myself. I walked in starving and left still hungry. And then came the cherry on top: we were charged almost $2 extra for just 1.5 oz of ranch and 1.5 oz of buffalo sauce. WOW! After being out of nine menu items, you would think a couple of tiny sauces would be the least of their worries. Nope--another charge! We genuinely LOVE Blaze Pizza, which is why this experience was so disappointing. Running out of one or two things happens--I completely understand that. But NINE items unavailable in the middle of the afternoon, followed by nickel-and-diming customers for two tiny containers of sauce, is ridiculous. My kids were able to eat, thankfully, but I left hungry, disappointed, and honestly shocked by the experience. Of course the day I was craving pizza, I decided to eat here and what a mistake!!! I waited in line for maybe about 5 mins and no joke, I felt something crawling on my leg. When I looked down, I made a loud squeamish sound and stomped my leg so hard a gained the floor. It was a huge ROACH. I could not believe it. There were 2 other men waiting in line and 1 of them ending up killing it. I couldn't stay there and decided to leave. If that happened to me, I'm sure that they have many other roaches/ bugs here. Blaze Pizza used to be my go-to spot. The customer service was excellent, and I genuinely loved their pizzas. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. I stopped by yesterday just wanting a simple pizza and a drink with ice. The employee took an unusually long time to replace the ice, and by the time my pizza finally came out, I had lost my appetite. The pizza itself was just okay nowhere near as good as I remember it being. At this point, the place isn't worth the visit. This is a great place to get build your own pizzas. I usually get white sauce so glad they have this option. The personalized pizzas may look like it's not enough for one person but it's plenty, it's 11 inches. I actually only eat 3 of the 6 slices. Like most build your own pizzas you can ask them to pile on all the ingredients whether it's cheese, veggies or meats. They also have a pretty good lunch special and if includes the weekends. Restaurant also is clean and has lots of seating. Staff is prompt and friendly. Location is at the Plant shopping center so there's a lot of parking available. read more

My mom was feeling Blaze Pizza this evening for dinner so she went over and brought it home for the fam. I've only really eaten here once or twice and honestly cannot remember if I liked it or not. Their bbq chicken pizza is very different than your usual. This one looks like it had way more going on than just chicken and onions. They use a pizza oven so the crust always comes out delicious. I love the different options for sauces (I'm not a marinara fan). I get white sauce and for the crust I get pesto sauce. For toppings I add almost everything but highly recommend the whole grilled garlic (adds SO much flavor to the pizza). After adding your toppings make sure to ask for more cheese on top! Yesterday, I went online and placed my order in advance for an 11am delivery for the following day (today). It was for an important work meeting. Well today, I get an email around 10am saying my order was CANCELLED due to a system error. Obviously, my heart sank because the store doesn't open until 10:30 and my meeting was at 11. I got there right when they opened and told the gentleman working about what had happened. He immediately took my order and busted out those pizzas like nobody's business! He was AMAZING and even helped me carry the large order to my car. By the way, it was pouring rain!!! I didn't get his name because I was in a rush, but I need to say this... whoever was working on the morning of Feb. 19th at the Panorama City location, THANK YOU. Hmmmm, gave this place another try after my last disappointing visit. And this time they really messed up my order. I was really looking forward for to my pizza. It was ready on time which was good. On top of my pizza box was a receipt with my name and description of my order. Jumped in my car and headed home to enjoy my pizza. WRONG! Got home opened my pizza and my mouth dropped open. I tend to alternate the locations between the van nuys and north Hollywood location, but always had great service at van nuys. I order online and always get the pizza on time.
