I stopped by this Waba Grill this morning to pick up my online order of the Salmon Veggie bowl for my wife. I found parking right in the front because I came right when they open so the plaza where this store is at wasn't busy yet. If you come later in the day then finding parking can be difficult. I arrived early to pick up my food so it wasn't ready yet. I stayed inside of the place and waited until the food was made. The food was ready at the pickup time I selected and I took it home. The portion size of the salmon was small so its not always the same size. I selected for extra veggies instead of brown rice and it looked like they give more veggies. This place is a shit show! The worst Waba Grill ever. Door sign says they close at 9pm, but if u walk in at 8pm the short lady with an attitude and too much makeup for her own good tells you they are no longer serving salads for the night because she has put them away. and if you walk in her at 8:40 pm, like I've done the last time I've tried to order, they even tell you that only pickup phone orders because they're no longer cooking food as they've already prepared for closing. The other slightly taller lady today told me that, "It's because we've been slow." NO! As I entered I was greeted right away by several employees.Small little location located in the same parking lot of Walmart.The kitchen is very visible and you can see the employees prepare your food order.My dish was made to order.All there dishes are made to order.Always fresh. Quick review; pretty decent teriyaki chicken bowl. On the healthier side. I'm a huge fan of teriyaki and was in the area of this place, decided to drop in. Place looked clean enough, little condiment bar was dope. So I kept it simple with my order being this is a new place and all. "One teriyaki chicken bowl please" :) I got mine with veggies and white rice cause brown rice is ridiculous. The veg was cabbage carrot broc. The food was room temp which I didn't like. I want my food to be served hot so when I start fiddling with my phone it could go cold on me. But that's my choice damn it, don't take that away from me! This place is pretty ok. I might come back and try a steak bowl. I like to eat healthy most of the time, and so this place it gives me all sorts of protein, healthy carbs and macros I need. This seems like its a leadership issue to avoid food waste. If so, how about you put the priorities for the customer and provide them with what you advertise on the menu. If you only have veggies or any other food available until 8pm then close at 8pm not 9pm. She said that "someone had already picked up my order" , but there was no reason for someone to pick it up. Came in here on my lunch break. This place is located in a plaza with a lot businesses so parking at peak hours is a bit difficult to come by. It's a cool little spot if you're on your lunch break or just looking for a place to eat. Plus it isn't as bad for you in comparison to most fast food places. I got a steak bowl with white rice and avocado. Their portions are a pretty good size. Their meat to rice ratio is always on point I'm never left with just a lot rice & little to no meat. Also they're never skimpy with the avocado which I really appreciate. Overall it's a clean spot with good food if you're looking for something different then a typical fast food place. But it's nothing that you can't easily make at your own house for a lot less. read more

This is the third time I have eaten here at this location. I am a frequent WaBa patron. The food is great. I would give this place 5 stars if it wasn't for two things that bother me at this location. 1. Too cold. Yes that's right. They have a huge vent system for such a small place. I had to move twice to get away from the vents. It was 98 degrees outside but 60 inside. That's crazy! 2. When the cook chops the meat it makes an annoying banging sound against the cutting board. It reminds me of working on a construction site. The management needs to teach them how to cut properly by pivoting up and down when cutting instead of lifting the cleaver up and "chopping" at the meat. Overall the great taste and price have me eating at WaBa everyday for lunch. I have even lost weight skipping those fast food meals. This place really is healthy. First time trying waba grill and damn I have been missing out. The inside is surprisingly very tidy and clean. You walk in and are immediately greeted. Service is fast and great. Staff is very nice and easy going. There a few items to choose from and I want to try them all. But on this occasion I tried the salmon on a bed of brown rice. The steak was flavorful but could have been more tender. The teriyaki sauce was a plus for both bowls. The vegetables are steamed but flavorless without the teriyaki sauce. I like that the vegetables were crunchy but it's basically raw if you are looking for tenderness, maybe you should ask them to cook them a little longer. Believe me you are getting all the nutrients the way they cooks them though. It was ok. I did think the portion sizes were good and the cost was reasonable. First timer at WaBa Grill and I was not disappointed! I was kindly greeted by Abram whom I told was my first time there, I asked him how did work and what did he suggest. He explained how the bowls needed to be ordered and he suggested the steak (which of course I ordered) he then proceeded to take my sons order. He repeated the order to verify that it was correct, after I paid as I was walking away I could hear him greeting the guest after me, I waited a short time for my order, Abram called out my order number and As he handed it to me he reminded me to be careful because I had ordered some miso soup and that it was very hot. I used to manage restaurants back in my hay day so he followed protocol to the tee and even went above and Beyond to warn me about the soup. Their food was delicious, the veggies are exactly how they're supposed be cooked (with a bit of a crunch) perfect portions and temperature on the dot. The only negative thing I have to say about this place was that when I managed restaurants No big earrings were allowed and the female on the shift was wearing the biggest hoops with the biggest crosses going through the middle. Other than that Abram is a great asset to this company and I hope he is valued here. No picture was taken because I devoured the bowl! Lol read more

I really enjoyed walking into this new location and seeing how clean and nice it looks inside. I was greeted well by the friendly staff and the menu was easy to understand. I figured that I would try a combination bowl with white rice as it seemed like I could get the most variety for my buck. The order came out quick and was nice and simple. I sat down to ate and, I don't exactly know what I expected, but the mean was perfectly okay. The chicken was a little bit better than the steak which seemed a tad tough. I enjoyed eating the teriki sauce, but the hot sauce was a little bit funky. All in all it was fine. Sure I would go back but I don't think I would ever crave it. I love waba grill so much but this specific location is not very pleasant. The food is great, but there is 1 lady... she may be the manager? I'm not sure, but she's the only Chinese lady here. She ALWAYS gets my order wrong. Every time she's taken my order she doesn't add everything I say. But wants to charge extra afterwards when I'm missing what I want?
