Gave me the wrong pizza . Came in around 10:30pm and ordered a pizza with lots of toppings and meat. Didn't check the box when I left because I was like the last person there. Saw them build my pizza and this is what i saw when i got home... No way they gave me the random pizza i heard them talking about "what do I do with this?". Sad experience since this pizza is so sad. I'm pretty sure they were about ti toss this since it was a plain pizza and they were so confused on what to do with. Check your orders people.. I love Blaze because of their various choices of toppings and the fast service it provides! Some of my favorites included the white sauce, pesto sauce on side, sausages and chicken, GARLIC, etc. Only gave a 4 star because this time, I went when the restaurant is about to close and it just wasn't as appetizing since all the containers for the ingredients were out of place and it was kind of dirty... Happy customer makes for a happy review! I came on pi day where blaze was offering their pizzas for $3.14. I got here just in time around 9:30PM because a man started giving people stamps to indicate who will still be served and cut the line off soon after (since the wait time at that point was approx. an hour). The man--who I'm assuming is either the manager or business owner--stayed at the back of the line for an entire hour and a half to apologize to people trying to come in, but offered them BOGO coupons in exchange. He also chatted with the group at the end of the line as well. He was the nicest, most friendly and respectable manager I've ever seen. There were a couple of instances where people tried arguing with him about not being able to be served past the cut off point--some guy even tried to just run in when he wasn't looking--but he handle those situations fantastically. Rest of the employees were great for such a hectic day and handled the line as best as they could. My pizza came out great, and for $3.14, how could I possibly have any complaints? I got practically everything on my BYO pizza and no one gave me the side eye haha. There's no point in getting their custom made pizzas - just get a Build Your Own. You can get however many toppings you want - and however much of each that you want - and it's all the same price (about $8). I build mine up with toppings so much that it can last me two meals. They have half-boxes that you can just take and put the other half of your pizza in to save for later. Service is good. They're usually pretty quick and efficient in getting through the line. It takes 3-4 minutes for them to build your pizza, and another 3-4 minutes for your pizza to bake. Like I said, they're efficient, but these guys aren't super friendly like I've seen at other Blaze locations. Don't get me wrong - they're professional and nice - but I didn't see anyone talking to guests at the tables or offering to take trash. You can also order online, which is a great way to save time. On the website, you can check the boxes for all the toppings you want. When you arrive at Blaze, check in and they'll stick your already-built pizza into the oven so it's fresh. There's a new app where you can earn a "flame" with every pizza you buy, and after 10 you get a free one. I came here the other day for a quick lunch with my cousin and grandma. I had never been here and was curious to try it. It has a very "Chipotle-style" type of assembly line, except it's for pizzas! The line wasn't long at all when we came in, so we pretty much started our order right away at the beginning of the assembly line. All staff members seemed friendly. I ordered one of their signature pizzas, the "Red Vine" with ovalini mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, Parmesan, basil, red sauce, and olive oil drizzle. Even though it's a signature pizza, you can tell them what you don't want on it and you can ask them to add different toppings on it as you move through the assembly line. I liked he fact that they weren't so rigid with this and that you could have it made exactly how you want it. The staff members were very organized and made my pizza super quickly! At the end of the assembly line, they stick your pizzas for a in the oven and you pay. I thought the prices were actually pretty reasonable for how much food you get. As I waited for my order, I went to find a table outside. There was a bigger party that had just gotten up from a table and I snagged it. The table was messy from the people who were there before and one of the staff members said that she would be right back out to clean it. So I waited without setting anything down on the table for her to come back out. It was taking awhile for her to come back and I didn't want to wait any longer, so I started to clean it by myself. She eventually came out to help clean it. I thought my red vine pizza was excellent! The food came out pretty quickly and the pizza tasted very fresh. I LOVE how they do the crust (super thin and crispy). Overall, great food, good prices, nice staff, great system, but could try and clean the tables a little faster so that people can sit down. There is food all over the floor and all on the countertops. With a food place like this, it's understandable and expected to an extent because it's build your own, so food naturally gets all on the counters quickly but this was beyond acceptable. There was SO much food on the counters and floor, it was ruining my appetite. It was simply negligence by the employees/management to clean up regularly to keep it remotely presentable. This place was packed on a Friday night with very little street parking available. However, even with 10-15 people ahead of me, the line moved fast. There was one person writing down your basic order on the thin paper tray cover and then an assembly line of folks assembling your pie. This is one of the few places with "vegan chicken" as a topping. The gluten-free crust does require extra time to prepare. The assemblers will also change gloves if requested. They will also ask if it's an allergy or preference. The manager running the place was efficiently running the show at the back where the pizzas come out and are handed over to customers. We tried this for the first time on Friday and we were surprised at how packed it was! I loved being able to build my own pizza and the fact that its thin crust style! It was so yummy. 11" filled me up and I couldn't even finish it all! So glad we decided to give it a try. The only down side is that it is kinda pricey and the restroom is only one at a time.
