Pizza is fine. The place, is so dirty. The restroom looks like it hasn't been scrubbed in a year. The toilet is filthy. The floors are filthy. The soda dispenser is grimy. I'm not sure if the managers are told they need to enforce cleanliness standards. Today there were 4 kids behind the counter, only I was ordering food and one person sitting down. Came here for pizza and it was delicious. Blaze is a hit or miss for me. Sometimes they are great, and others not so great. This place is definitely a good blaze. Every blaze in the world needs to copy this blaze. Customer service was fantastic, the pizza maker was very patient with my ingredients, and they came out fantastic. They say all things get better with time... However, that is not the case with Blaze. I've been coming here since its opened (and was even one of the first people in line) and honestly, it's been horrendous from the start. Now, I complained a little bit about the horrible attitudes within this place a few years ago. I figured they have implemented better training since then so I decided to give it another try. Update: The service has gotten 1000x worse. This location has by far THEEEEE snarkiest employees on the planet. I came in to get a half pizza / half salad and before I could even get my sentence out, the girl taking my order cut me off and snapped at me that I can't get "half pizzas" there. I totally understand that mistakes happen and it's hard to hear over the glass so I tried to tell her again that I wanted a "Take two: half pizza, half salad". She then proceeded to RUDELY tell me that I CANNOT get two half pizzas. She finally got the idea and then slapped my pizza over the next girl without another word. I thought "Yiikesss, She's probably having a bad night. I hope this next girl is nicer". Joke was on me. When the next girl asked if I wanted cheese, I said yes please to mozzarella and ricotta. She barely put any on so when I asked for juuuust a little extra, she rolled her eyes and then completely doused my pizza in cheese. I don't know if she did this to be petty or if she really thought I wanted thaaat much cheese, but I was too embarrassed to just ask for another pizza or to take some off. It was so much that when I got home, the crust was soaked and falling apart. I couldn't even eat it all. Anyways, I went on to ask for Spinach and she treated me like a child in front of everyone saying "UHHHHHH ya.... that's BASIL, not spinach". I guess she thought I was looking at something else but either way, I wanted spinach? Then when I asked for jalapenos and ranch on the side, she said that it would be $1.50 extra. Siiiince when????? I was so flustered at this point because everything was happening too quickly and both of those girls were disasters to deal with. As she was finishing up my pizza, I stood quietly and the guy behind me asked me "What was all that about?". I told him I had no clue and that I just wanted to get out of there. He said "Yeah, that was pretty uncomfortable to watch". Uncomfortable is right. The place had barely anyone in there so I don't see what the deal was. I came in smiling, asked how their day was (no response), and had nothing in return. The only person who somewhat made this place worth coming to was the cashier with the pink hair. I don't know this girl, but she was the only one smiling and actually speaking to the customers like humans. I think if you fired the whole crew and just hired her, she would be able to keep the place afloat on her personality alone. I do enjoy their Keto options but even then the nutrition on these type of pizzas don't end up being that worth it when you break down how their Leto pizza crust is made. I love that they have vegan options. I love the employees, they are very kind, for the most part. The quality of the food, and the constant messed up orders are my issue. If they aren't giving me the wrong pizza through Door Dash, they're putting animal products on my vegan pizza. If it isn't animal products, it's badly burned pizza. It's never a great experience, and that makes me sad. My poor babies just peeled off the cheese on the badly burned pizza last time, and finding a piece of ham on our vegan pizza last time, almost made me vomit. The worst experience, my nephew and I decided to have pizza. I tried the keto crust ordered meat and cheese with artichoke and mushrooms, my nephew ordered meat eaters pizza. I paid ...they weren't busy. then tall white bearded guy yells out my nephews name for both pizzas did not look ours. He yells at is this your pizza, I'm not sure... i tell him... counter is so high I can't see the pizza toppings.. I take pizza to the table. They don't really add cheese or sauce on the pizza. Pizza is very dry. I had placed my order online so I was not able to see when they where preparing it. When I picked up my order I did see a few pizzas looking dry and with very little to no cheese. I thought that's how they ordered them. This location has TERRIBLE customer service! It's the place my husband and I come to often because of the proximity to our home. The girls have the worst attitude when building your pizza. Every single time we come in here we face some issue. They get aggravated when they begin to build the pizza, when, wait...that is the whole model of the company! The last time I came in I asked for gluten free due to allergies and the girl rolled her eyes to the girl next to her. And she proceeded to go to the counter to get the GF dough with such an attitude. They are so distracted looking around and not focusing on what they are doing or listening to what one is telling them to add or not to add to the pizza. There has been times where I have had to raise my voice so they can hear me since they aren't looking or paying attention to me. They seem to block you out and do what they want instead of listening to the customer. Just like the other reviews mentioned, they burn the pizza. Seems like they don't care how anything is done. The girls didn't have name tags or else I would have mentioned them, but it doesn't matter they are ALL the same, moody with bad attitude! I have been to other locations and they have way better service, this location needs to train their employees or get new ones who do want to service people. The other bad reviews are all correct! I hope this review gets read by management or someone in corporate and does something to improve this location's service. This place is awful. The manager is very rude and unprofessional. Went there with my family and ordered 4 build your own pizzas as well as drinks. I asked for some basil on the side, since i don't like my basil cooked, the manager, very rudely said no and started to yell saying "this is not all you can eat buffet". I seen all the other bad reviews and should have listen however I made the executive mistake by choosing to do otherwise. The night shift crew is horrible. Floors dirty, and the pizza was a waste of money. I sat and waited over 25 mins for a pizza right in front of the pickup window and not once was my name called and the worker claims they called it several times but it was only me and a couple others in there at the time so there's no way I wouldn't have been able to hear. Avoid this place at all costs. Super rude customer service with the guy cutting the pizza. You order it online it should be in the pick up station right? Nope. The second time in a row the pizza is just sitting there behind the counter. When I ask for it, he wants to see my phone for the order Gtfo. ROTTEN, ROTTEN CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Blaze pushes online ordering and delivery on its website. Tonight we made a sizable order and it never arrived. After fighting our way thru their phone system (first someone just repeating, "we don't do delivery") we finally spoke to the manager, who told my wife, loudly and rudely, that Blaze has no responsibility for the fact the delivery never occurred or for the fact that no one bothered to tell us. The pizzas were still at the store. She insisted that although Blaze solicits and collects the delivery fee, picks the delivery contractor, and tells customers on its website that questions about delivery are to be directed to the store, they have nothing to do with it and offered no solution. Further, the manager insisted on talking over my wife to the point that in order to be heard, she had to shout. Finally and because we insisted, she said they would cancel the credit card charge. Since I certainly don't trust her to actually do it, we also called the card issuer. We have been customers of this restaurant since it opened. We will never spend another penny there. There was a way to handle this properly (apologize sincerely, offer a refund) but the manager couldn't be bothered. UPDATE-- 30 minutes after we told them to cancel our order the delivery person showed up with our room temperature pizzas. To Repeat -- AFTER WE CANCELED. Not only was the first person who helped us rude but so was the second and third person who helped us. The only employee who made us feel like we were not bothering them was the last employee working the cashier. I wanted a water cup and they also told me they were out for the night. Went there yesterday for lunch since my coworkers wanted to try another pizza chain aside from MOD pizza. Although the concept seems the same the food and service was unfortunately not. My coworkers ordered 2 pizzas and I ordered a salad. When I ordered the salad the guy taking my order just looked at me and said "are you sure you don't want a pizza instead". Honestly if I wanted a pizza I would have ordered one to start. After he started my salad I wanted to add toppings just like a "build your own" but he asked a coworker if they could do that. Either way I added chicken and cheese to my salad. When asking for chicken the guy making it barely put any on; I had to ask 2 more times for more chicken especially since this was a salad I ordered. As I finished up my order at the register I ordered a small drink to which the girl who rang me up handed me my cup by placing her fingers inside the cup when she grabbed it and then gave it to me. Pretty gross considering she handles money and whatever else she is in charge of at the register. When asking for another cup she just said they'll call you when your pizza is ready and then walked away. I ordered a salad; she just rang me up for a salad and a drink... what pizza is she talking about and why did she ignore me when I asked for a new cup, not sure but the customer service here is lacking. I don't care about the money so much for the toppings on the salad but if I'm going to pay for it please provide me with the amount I'd like. I used to be a fan of Blaze Pizza. Quality was excellent. Haven't been there in over a year. Place wasn't as clean as I remember. Bought a build your own and was told I couldn't have double mushrooms? I only had pepperoni salami, red onion mushrooms and jalapeño? The young lady said I can't give you double mushrooms? I sat down and waited for my pizza. I asked to speak to manager. He said he had to limit toppings and portion control. He was huffy and puffy with an attitude? Compared to other build-your-own pizza joints, Blaze is definitely my favorite compared to Mods and Pieology. You can't go wrong with their crunchy thin crust, huge selection of toppings, and friendly service. I love how quickly the food comes out as well. It still bewilders me that this $8 pizza is better than most of the $20+ pizzas that I have tried. Hate me all you want, but the order I get 50% of the time I come here is a Margherita pizza with red sauce, fresh mozzarella, and basil. Compared to the more expensive Margherita pizzas that I have tried, Blaze's is up there. My only complaint would be that the servers never squeeze the moisture out of the mozzarella enough and my pizza would come out watery. Blaze is hands down my favorite place to eat pizza! I get to pick my toppings and however much I want. The food is delicious. Pesto sauce around of the crust the sea salt and oregano just gives it that final touch. I can eat here 3-5 times a week it's so good. There does seem to be a new set of staff every time I come in, not sure if that's s good thing or bad thing. Tonight however the area where all the toppings were seemed to be a bit messy, I'm very particular about how the food prep area is kept.
