Its been a year. I walked into Blaze Pizza and thought I would give it another chance. My visit FAILED again and the PRICES went up? Everybody in my group asked for xtra cheese and sauce but the server would not do it. Three people asked for it and he ignored every one. We asked for xtra crispy and that didnt happen either. The server barely even covered the dough with sauce. So we are skimping out on the customers AND raising the prices?!?! This time SOME of the tables were clean but the floor was a mess. Geez! Oh and no straws! Not even the bio-degradeable straws, but I still had my PLASTIC cup and lid to drink from. While my teeth were chattering from the ice, an employee stopped by to ask if everything was ok, but before I could answer he was GONE! The employees were not fighting and bickering this time. But I managed to get some of my blood orange drink before it ran out this time so "one" star today guys! Keep at it...you have a long way to go. Stopped at Blaze after doing some Christmas shopping at the outlets and was very happy with the speed of service and the friendliness of the staff! The restaurant was very clean for how busy they were and had the sweetest girl cleaning the patio. I apologize I didn't catch her name. I felt very safe with everyone wearing masks and I think the manager, coming making sure the line was distanced. Great Job Blaze! We will be back! read more

This Location is Clean and well stocked, I enjoyed my pizza that I created myself which was exciting! Im a picky eater so I love the I can build my own pizza! Hayley seemed a little bit tired during his shift and a bit sloppy with the application of the sauce. Maybe a little music would liven the place up but other than that. This place has gone down hill. Pizza is still good but most of the staff is a mess. Some moving as slow as humanly possible, others moving so fast and out of control that they lose pizzas and are totally unorganized. Management needs to train this place up. My 12 year old likes this place, but there is much better pizza in town, such as Sonny's and Pizza Port. Nonetheless, I get him a pizza a couple of times a week. For a short period of time they had a very good manager and things ran well. Now that they changed managers (again), they seem to be somewhat disorganized and do not have all toppings available at all times. The workers are friendly, but the turnover is so high that the wait time is a roll of the dice. When new employees are in training expect to wait longer in line. Also, on three different occasions, the reader did not record a flame. When you get 10 flames, you get a free pizza. They offered nothing but excuses with the app and did not offer any form of credit for the missed flames. This is just indicative of poor customer service on the part of the on duty manager. When such a problem occurs at Starbucks, they are quick to offer some form of credit in the form of a free drink or upgrade to a larger size drink. Starbucks likes the customers to leave happy. I leave this location of Blaze happy only every now and then. Keep in mind, this is fast food pizza so do not go in with high expectations. read more

We stop at the San Clemente outlet mall at least once a month, but this was the first time we went to the Blaze Pizza there. I have ate countless Blaze pizzas at other locations, but this was hands down the best I've had yet. The time it took to make the pizza and overall quality were both on point, but I believe the overall experience was as good as it was due to the staff and service. Blaze as a company has done a great job making sure every location has the same feel, but Courtney, the General Manager at San Clemente, has developed a team that puts customer service first. Everyone was extremely friendly and happy to have short conversations as our pizza went down the line. I noticed that in what I'm sure is a rare occurrence of a pizza getting just a little too much heat, they immediately fired a new pizza to make sure the customer was taken care of. I made the awesome mistake of bringing up a mutual passion with Courtney and ended up having a conversation that could have likely gone on for hours if not for her insistence that we enjoy our pizza. Future trips to San Clemente will now be for Blaze Pizza with a side of "outlet" shopping. 5 stars for food 10 stars for customer service read more

I have been coming to this Blaze location since it opened. I enjoy the pizza, so I continue to come back. That being said; EVERY TIME I order with the app, they forget to add at least one thing on my order. I suppose it's my fault for not verifying that the order is correct before I leave, but I tend to give successful businesses the benefit of the doubt that they will provide what I pay for. I do recommend the pizza but be sure to verify your order if you phone it in or order through the app. Update: Was very happy to have Blaze address my concerns, and we will continue give Blaze more chances. read more

I don't know what it is, but the more I go to blaze, the less I like it. It's probably on me for putting on way too many toppings. This visit was particularly annoying as I was in line behind a high school girl who drew the attention of a few of the guys behind the counter which wasn't a big deal to me until we get to the register to pay, and she whips out her CC to pay and the cashiers like I gotcha covered. I have to admit, this is a really good dining experience. Tried them for the first time last night and truly enjoyed it. First things first. The pizza is cooked in high temperature ovens and the crust may blacken. It's supposed to! That's part of the flavor. Whilst not authentic Neopolitan pizza, it is prepared in that STYLE, so if Pizza Hut is your pie of choice you might want to remain there. For $8.45, you get about a twelve inch pizza that you can customize to your liking, sort of like Subway or Chipotle. Load it up if you want, no extra charge. Several sauces and cheeses to choose from as well as many toppings. Walk along the assembly line and direct the construction. Your pizza is ready in about five minutes, crust is very good, sauces are tasty, toppings fresh. Exceptional and recommended! read more

Forgot my sausage on my pizza no big deal they offered me a new pizza. The first pizza was loaded with all the other toppings the second one barely had any. I get they have to eat the cost of the first pizza but don't skimp me like that. They didn't even cut my pizza slices all the way outta spite it feels like. Won't be back again read more

Yes Some of each of the 5 or so meats? Yes Both the Roasted Garlic and the Garlic powder? Yes Mushrooms? Yes Spinach? Yes Fresh Basil leaves? Yes Fresh tomatoes? Yes Peppers and banana peppers pepperoncini? Yes Ummm not sure what that is, but some of that? Yes! The answer is YES to everything!! I've been there twice and had the same delicious result each time! Left full and happy with a box... It is enough food for two to share-- no question about that. They also have blood orange lemonade, mango lemonade, strawberry lemonade, and lemonade. If you are craving more than just a boring, standard cheese or pepperoni pizza I highly recommend! For a few bucks extra, you can specify gluten- free, or deep dish dough too. On Yelp, it seems they have many locations to choose from. Now if they just had a loyalty program or Yelp check-in special....hmmm. My personal preference is the build your own, starting as a Barbecue Chicken Base. We LOVE Blaze pizza!! It's affordable, great tasting food, and conveniently located at the SC Outlet mall with lots of easy parking. All of the staff there is amazing!
