The tomato sauce was too thick and sweet for my taste. The service was great. The place needed a wipe down, food residue on tables from previous patrons. Loved their drink selection. Their salads looked fresh and crisp. Won't be back, just cause of the tomatoes sauce ‍. read more

I have eaten here twice and absolutely love it. The cauliflower pizza crust is the best and I will be eating there when I'm ready for pizza.

I had high expectations, but sadly I wasn't overly impressed. It was our first visit, and we didn't know how their system worked. There are no signs to tell you what you do first, second, etc. I guess I said the wrong thing, and the girl working behind the counter gave me an eyeroll and said, "You have to start right here first!" The second issue was the workers mumbling, and I couldn't understand what they were saying. Fortunately my husband got the gist of it so we could complete our order. The third issue was an almost-but-not-quite-burnt crust on my pizza. The rest of the ingredients were fantastic. The cheese, meat, and veggies tasted very fresh. Staff is very friendly and attentive. I'm always treated nice and greeted right away when I come in. Pizza is amazing as a transitioning vegan there aren't many food choices in tulsa. I'm not a fan of the vegan daiya cheese they have but they even let me bring my own in and made it for me. The spicy vegan chorizo is great and all the ingredients taste super fresh. So...I decided to check out what all of the hoopla was with this new pizza joint in town. I read great reviews on here and heard from other people how great it was! Well, they were right! Great concept, fast meal preparations, and scrumptious pizza pie! The ingredients are all fresh and the pizza pie is so good. Now, here is the downfall. The organization of the employees was not that great. I know that it is a new restaurant and all. However, it seemed that the employees were not really that knowledgable or helpful when having to answer questions. The cashier seemed lost and uncomfortable working with the customers. I am sure its just a training issue and they will improve. All in all, I will definitely be back. If you haven't given this place a whirl yet you really should. It is worth it! read more

I probably won't go back. It was not a good first impression. First employee that greeted us sure didn't want to be there. She was frowning and grumpy. It was extremely extremely loud in there. They scream out your name when the order is ready. I ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas; one with a little sea salt and one without. They had no clue which was which. Thin crust is soggy. It should be crispy. The line was short when we got there but soon became long. It moved very slow and people were waiting for tables. The pizza was good but certainly nothing special. They only have one size pizza. It would be nice to have one smaller for children. Dissapointing; this is a good concept and I really wanted to like the place (especially since Top That Pizza disappeared). If I lived in the area, this would be my favorite pizza place to go to. (I live in NJ). Everything is made with fresh ingredients, and right in front of you. My favorite thing about this place is that you can make your own pizza, right down to the crust and toppings! The service was very quick, and also very friendly. This is my first experience ever at Blaze pizza and it started off really good until the employee got mine and another customers pizza mixed up. It sounded like she had said my name but the employee failed to realize I had just paid. Of course I take the pizza because I misunderstood the name and it was the same type of pizza I had purchased that she had yelled out. Also the name she had yelled out sounded like my name and not at all like the other customers name. Later on that same employee started to talk shit and cussing about me, saying I had came in to steal pizzas and shit. That same employee said I was a pizza thief. Walked and saw an officer standing there. While we were there he was never acknowledged or greeted, and he ended up walking out. He said "this is ridiculous", so I'm guessing he was there for a while. The girl standing there focused solely on writing orders, online orders come to find out, never acknowledged my party and i once. When we mentioned it she lied saying she had, when she never did, and said she had to get those online orders write down. I called to talk to a manager and she apologized, but used the excuse of "having to get the online orders done" as an excuse for bad behavior. This place sure has gone down hill recently. The food is good as it's always been, but the service is terrible. I stood at the register for a couple minutes as multiple employees walked by, until I finally decided the cookie was not worth the wait. It's common knowledge that in the food industry, you greet every customer with a smile and get them in and out as quickly and efficiently as possible. Quick and efficient is not how I would describe Blaze. I get that making pizza may not be the most glorious job in the world, but I worked at McDonalds as my first job and I made dang sure I greeted every customer with a smile. This place is lacking management oversight. I have been to this location many times before and experienced slow service. However, today's service took almost an hour. The place was not busy at all when I arrived but the service was sloth-mode. The employees were friendly. My cheesy bread came out burnt. As it was being boxed, I asked for a new one since that was going to be inedible, and the employee happily obliged (slowly, of course). My pizza sat on the counter while the employee was cleaning the counter for several minutes before cutting and boxing the (now cold) pizza. I understand hiring is an issue during current times. Likely, the service could have been much improved with some sort of management over-site. No employee was taking the initiative or the lead, so there was no attempt at efficiency or product control (burnt pizza and burnt cheesy bread, delivered 45-minutes after ordering).The food quality is good. I hope this review is seen (and heeded) by management or franchise owners. Though, the reality is that management is likely painfully aware of this on-going situation.
