Jersey Mike's is fairly consistent for a sub shop with so many different franchisees. The Tulsa Hills location is usually spot on with orders and special requests. Today, we had a #7 Turkey and provolone with some special requests: "juice" on the side, hollowed out bread, extra tomatoes and lettuce - didn't see extra either?? I didn't like Mike's way, maybe Jimmy and John's way would be better? Idk, maybe switch it up a bit. Their sandwiches tend to be less soggy. Also there was a hole in my chair from my huge gyatt. it seems a little less likely that people are looking up reviews to their local jersey mikes but in the off chance anyone is, i must recommend this location. every time i've ordered a sandwich here, with two specific accommodations, they've fulfilled it every time. this is both in person and through an online order. the restaurant can get a bit messy during the rush hours but it's never been horribly messy. staff is friendly and efficient. what more could you ask for? oh, as for the food quality, it's been nothing less than perfect each time i've gone. the whole floor deserves a raise. read more

We ordered a wrap and a sub and this is the second or third time they've gotten it wrong. They keep offering us free things so I thought you know we'll try it one more time but they can't do anything right they keep getting everything wrong and they're very rude when it comes to them messing up get your act together guys because you've lost many customers. I have been here a couple times now and can honestly say i like these subs. The place is always clean and inviting. The meat and cheeses are always fresh cut to order. The regular is a good size for most but i got the giant jersey shore's favorite and it was delicious. The giant sub is not for the weak, you better bring your A game to eat all this. The only draw back is the subs are a little more costly than most sandwich shops, but the up dide is they do fundraise and donate alot to the local community, which is awesome. I have always liked Jersey Mike's, but now they have, wait for it, PORTOBELLO MUSHROOMS that amps up that juicy deep meaty flavor whether or not you actually have steak in your sub or not! Jersey Mike's says 'Portobella', but they're from, ya know, Joisey. If you're in doubt as to where to start in their menu, you can't go wrong with a cold #13 The Original Italian "fixed Mike's way" or a hot #66 Portobello Cheese Steak (I requested extra cheese) or a simple #26 Bacon Ranch Chicken Cheese Steak. INTENTIONALLY RUINED MY FOOD!!! I live in Mexico and had never been to a Jersey Mike's until late February/early March when I went to this location. I heard Jersey Mike's was awesome so I had big expectations. This review is for the third time that I went to Jersey Mike's and all three visits were to this same location and this was my last visit to Jersey Mike's. I really wanted to leave this review sooner but I was traveling for a few months without a computer and really didn't feel like typing it out on my phone or in a hotel business center or the like. However, I haven't forgotten it and I hope me coming back to leave this shows how terrible of an experience this was. The only logical explanation (besides the guy being a not-so-nice person and unsupervised) that I can think of for the following event and it is something that happened occurred on the first visit that I was there. My friend and I were making fun of the food, etc. of a competitor of Jersey Mike's that starts with an 'S' and this guy mistook our jokes to be about Jersey Mike's. I remember him staring at us but I thought we were too far away and it was too loud for him to hear us not to mention that he would care what we were talking about and why would we make fun of a place that we were about to eat at? It makes no sense. I just want mention that every time we were there he was working and wearing a red earbud which appeared to be Apple Beats (and he had a beard, mustache, and wore glasses). Anyway, on this final visit, I ordered a couple of subs to go (although the ticket says "Dine In") one for lunch and one later for dinner and I think we were initially the only persons ordering and two people came in behind us and there was one woman eating at a table so it wasn't a rush hour time and the ticket says 3:46pm. One of the sandwiches I ordered was one of their Philly steak sandwiches. I told a very nice and polite young lady what I wanted on it but somehow that didn't get to him; however, I am certain she wrote it on the ticket. He got done with the sandwich and wrapped it up without the lettuce, tomatoes, raw onions, and extra mayo that I wanted on it and was handing it to me when I let him know what was missing and he seemed angry right away. I remember him marching over and grabbing the vegetables like it was a huge deal almost unbelievable that he had to do it. Then, he asked me if I needed anything else and he hadn't put the mayo so I said, "Extra mayo" and he yelled back "Extra mayo!?!?!" in an extremely disrespectful manner. I am almost certain that this short interaction was the first time I had ever talked to him. I watched him put the mayo and immediately told my friend that I was getting a "mayo soup sandwich" and he told me something like "Nah, why would he do that??? I am sure it's fine", so I said something like "Ok, I just take it and scrape it off at the hotel if it's bad". Finally, instead of handing the sandwich directly to me like before, this red earbud guy goes over to the cashier to make sure I paid for the sandwich, and obviously I had paid and I had already tipped $2-3 (I paid for it while he was cooking the steak for my sandwich) like I had on the previous visits. Fast forward and we get to the hotel and I open my sandwich and there was no saving it-mayo was all over the outside of the bread and all over the wrapping paper. It was the most disgusting (intentionally made that way) sandwich I have ever had seen and one of the few I couldn't finish except when the cheese or meat was bad. I have never seen so much mayo on any kind of sandwich in my entire life even much bigger ones ordered with "extra mayo". I have eaten 1000s of sandwiches and probably 1000s of sub sandwiches in my life and I have had extra mayo on lots of them. I was going to take pictures but I was so mad I just threw it out and didn't feel like digging it out of the garbage. My friend laughed at it when I showed it to him and I asked him if I was rude or did anything to provoke this guy or anything (I was running on an hour or two of sleep at time) and he was like "absolutely not" because I would have taken some of the credit for what I got if I was and he was standing next to or very near me the whole time. Shortly after that, I called and talked to the manager, and I'll admit that I was extremely mad at a few points because I feel this red earbud guy robbed me of my lunch, my money (including tip), and my time and just to rub it all in he was extremely disrespectful. I got a bit hot with the manager because the manager had lots of excuses he was throwing at me at first to explain what happened even after I told him at least a few times how disrespectful this guy was and that it was 100% intentional. I felt he ran me in circles a bit too much but I understand probably wanted to see if my story changed to make sure I was telling the truth. read more

We went to this Jersey Mike's night before last, and the experience was wonderful. We got there 20 minutes before their closing time. The guy making sandwiches was so nice. I had to have gluten-free bread, and he made sure to clean everything thoroughly before making my sandwich to assure no gluten got into my food. 2 others walked in after us, and he was able to knock out all 4 of our sandwiches in no time. I ordered online. Told the cashier I was there for an inline order. Was told they were very busy and it would be a while before he could have my order ready. Waited for 20 minutes while everyone in line was accommodated. When I went back up to the counter because one employee went to the bathroom, another went out back to smoke a cigarette, and the third was just mulling around the prep area, I asked when my order would be ready. Only having eaten at a Jersey Mike's once before in another State I was not too familiar with the menu. Decided on the Super Sub. When it came time for the veggies the nice young man suggested Mike's Way. I asked what it was and he described it and I am happy he suggested that as it was delicious! I go there occasionally, I've been there probably 12 or 15 times and I haven't had an issue, but last night around 7:30, I went and got a giant #13 and got it Mike's way, which is what I normally get. Last night, however, I got what I would have to say is a mild case of food poisoning and spent the whole night throwing up. I feel nauseous even as I write this. After being asked twice if I was ready to order while reading the menu on my second time to the restaurant, I ordered a chicken Philly. After reading further on the menu, I told one of the workers that I'd like to make it a California Chicken Philly but that didn't get communicated to the grill which was not a problem. However, when I told the worker finishing my sandwich on the grill that I'd like it to be a California which was just adding veggies and mayo; he argued with me about what I ordered and told me that it didn't come with veggies. He told me that I needed to order correctly. He grudgingly added tomato and lettuce and wiped mayo all over the top of my sandwich. By the time I got it home it was smeared with mayo everywhere. It was a huge mess and I couldn't eat much of it but the biggest problem was the way I was treated. I won't be making a trip back there anytime soon. read more
