After a day of holiday shopping, I needed some food. There was no line and the team member was very friendly. I wanted a Greek style bowl with rice instead of lettuce. She told me no problem. As I was walking to the register, I see the cinnamon pita chips and I had to get them. Omg!!! I hope they keep these on the menu because they are amazing!!! Food is fresh & delicious! The Harissa Avocado Bowl is my favorite!!! This is my 3rd visit to this location and I have not been disappointed. All 3 times the portions were generous like when tried it out for the first time in Texas. This is my absolute favorite healthy spot. So many made to order items or build your own. Set up is similar to qdoba but the foods are very different and way more flavorful with huge portions. I had a good experience at this location. I went inside the store and ordered my food. I was through the line quickly with a few people ahead of me. Lots of options to choose from. Everything tasted fresh. I think the value for what you get is better than what you would get at Panera. I would recommend if you are in the mood for something healthy and filling. I got a custom bowl with lamb meatballs, and when I got to the sauces the guy who was helping me asked if I like jalapeños, I told him yes and he gave me his favorite combo, the garlic dressing and the schug sauce. That was the best flavor combo ever! It wasn't overly strong with the heat, and the garlic had a nice undertone. It paired well with the lamb, and the red pepper hummus. CAVA took the place of Zoës Kitchen in Tulsa Hills shopping center. With much curiosity, we visited them for the first time. Although they have no fans or cooling mist, they have a decent outdoor seating with umbrellas so we can take our pup with us. Overall, the foods are fresh and taste pretty good. Lamb meatballs are lightly seasoned. We really enjoyed the sauces and the grains. However, they gave us a very "pathetic" leafy portion. Thus the 4 stars. The drinks were delicious, I highly recommended their strawberry one. Such a great summer drink. Much better than a soda pop. read more

I had the pleasure of having Grace assist me with my first time trying Cava. I cannot express enough how wonderful it was. She was able to break down each selection by letting me know if something was spicy or sweet or if it was tangy. It was easy to see she knew what she was talking about. When I got the chance to sit down and start eating the bowl it seemed to disappear. POOF! Gone, not due to small serving size but because of just how good it was! My husband had the falafel pita which was good but my bowl was the best. Choice of grain or greens on the bottom - I had both then eggplant and hummus. I love Cava, but if I go back to this location, I will pick it up inside. Every time I pick up in the drive-thru, it seems the person working the window has an attitude. And about half the time, they don't pay attention to specifications on the order or just don't care. Last night, I forgot to tell them I wanted it in a bag when I ordered on the app. Apparently, asking for a bag is really putting them out. I just really can't handle bag service. He was showing us his pizza throwing skills with our empty bowls and catching them then filling them. He made us laugh through out our entire order so we got dinner and a show! Really wanted to like it, and the menu looks really good, but the execution was just not there. Lentils were very crunchy, some bits almost seemed uncooked, and the lamb meatballs were really undercooked. The less than stellar cooking made me leery of the entire food prep process. This location really needs to shape up before I try it again. The cafeteria meal assembly requires meticulous planning and food prep - really need to step it their game. read more

Hard Pass on me going back to the Tulsa Hills location! Last two times I've gone there, they've been friendly, but didn't have several items that I enjoy on my Grains bowl. From chicken, to sauces, to veggies, to braised lamb, to pickled onions.... Out. We've never had this issue at any of the other CAVA locations.
