Visited this location over the weekend for Mother's Day. The inside was super clean and luckily it wasn't too busy when I got in line. The customer service was very nice they asked me what I wanted and even would reconfirm with me for my order which is great because I have picky eaters so it helps if they ask. I have been to this restaurant/this location many times in the past. I visited recently after about a year since the last time and did notice prices were slightly higher. I visited during the week in the evening and was able to walk right up to the front to order without being in a long line. There were SO MANY employees scrambling around when I was ordering and I swear I had like 6 employees have a hand in my pizza making which I feel is just way too much. I felt like the way my pizza was being made was as if I was a car at a pit stop. Toppings were just messy thrown on the pizza at rapid speeds and it felt like no care was put into my pizza. The pizza was brought to the table after a few minutes. I wish the pizza was cooked slightly longer because it was floppy. The taste was pretty good. I did get a box to take some home. Ordered a speciality pizza to go. I was craving a healthy pizza, and they're in walking distance from a dot I was at today. It's a pretty nice restaurant. I got the Cauliflower crust, red sauce and vegan cheese. They're one of the few spots I've found that has such a great variety of dietary acceptable foods! The pizza was really good! Went here Tuesday night with some friends. Parking wasn't too bad considering the lot shares with multiple business in the plaza. Blaze is basically a build your own type pizza establishment. I've only ordered inside once, it was late at night and on a non busy day. Most of the time I'll usually order on the app and pick it up due to it usually being very busy inside. They do have outdoor seating which is nice since the inside is small and gets crowded easily. I've never had a problem with the staff, they're nice and attentive. I learned this month that there is a Blaze in Winter Park! My friend and I came here for dinner and a yap and I decided this time to do a build your own. If you've never been to Blaze before imagine a chipotle but for pizza! You can pick between a red or white sauce and a variety of cheeses, meats, and veggie toppings, so there really is something for everyone! They also have gluten free crust options if you or anyone you know has sensitivities. The team assembling the pizzas were all so super sweet and patient while I figured out what exactly I wanted to put on my pizza. Ultimately I decided on a white sauce with Parmesan & mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, red onions, chopped garlic (as a garlic girly does), roasted red peppers, and and olive oil drizzle as my finisher. By the time we found a seat and got settled our pizzas were already done, as it was pretty quiet in there when we arrived. Shortly after though the crowd picked up for dinner but the tables are spread out enough to where we never felt like others were on top of us or like we couldn't hear each other speak. I was visiting my father in Orlando, cause I live over in Bartow and he wanted Pizza. My father is disabled and he can't leave the house so whenever I come and visit, I would usually bring lunch for us to eat and chat. I had a hard time trying to figure out a of pizza place in his area that wasn't the standard commercialize pizza. I wanted to try to eat as clean and healthy as possible. I remember this pizza place over in the Winter Park area so drove over I ordered one pepperoni classic with the original dough a half of Barbecue chicken and meatballs. The total came out to $22.00 which was actually pretty good for that price. I'm sure it would've cost more if I added the drinks, but since I was visiting with my father, he had drinks at home. The staff were kind enough to ask if I needed utensils or anything like that which I did not need when I arrive at my dad has the combination of the pizza. the barbecue chicken and the meatballs filled us up we split it three ways and that was just enough for us. Quick, convenient and affordable pizza. The parking lot is full of congestion, but for good reason. The restaurant is clean as are the bathrooms. I was very upset at the young girl taking my order at lunchtime yesterday and her helper (a young man) 3/18/25 at 1:48 pm. The girl could not answer my question and did not care about it and he, the young man assisting her, actually laughed out loud and embarrassed me in front of my granddaughter and her friend. I was trying to understand the menu and prices as my budget is limited, but the menu kept changing. They could not seem to be clear on the differences of the lunch pricing early. For $10.95, my bbq pizza was delicious and the perfect size. The kids split a "Simple Pie" and raved about it. My wife got the half pizza / side salad combo and she enjoyed both. I appreciate how quick everything came out. As a parent of hungry children, nothing is worse than sitting waiting a long time for food. This was my first time visiting Blaze pizza (Winter Park location) with my wife and friends. The ambience was nice with good lighting. This place has a "Chipotle style" to get your meal. You wait in line and decide your dough (fresh), then decide a finish touch to your pizza. Tons of toppings to choose from. Customer service gets 5 star all day! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by an employee about to take pizza to guest sitting outside. Also, while I was deciding what I wanted, I explained that I am a first timer, and all the employees who were creating my pizza explained how they do the pizzas and the setup in the location. Even though it was a huge line behind me, they took their time answering any question I had and made the pizza to my liking. Now to the food. I'm going to rate this only on the quality of dough, efficiency, time receiving the food and quality of toppings. (3.5 rating) Wife: She had the 2 topping pizza. Fresh original dough with chicken and pineapple. She loves chicken and pineapple on pizza but this one wasn't up to par with her. Her dough was not as crispy as mine or the rest of our party. I had to ask more cheese on her pie since their portion was not enough. The chicken looked like cold chicken without being grilled. Overall she was not satisfied with her pie, it definitely needed more time to cook. Me: I chose build my own pizza to make like a spicy all meat pizza. I had the fresh original dough, spicy marinara sauce (the best thing for me on the pie to be honest), pepperoni, sausage, chicken, meatball, bacon, ham, jalapeño, sweet pepper, green pepper oregano, salt and to finish olive oil dressing. I went with this route because of pricing and amount of food if you want to be full, this would be the option because the pie doesn't look that big or filling. Spice level was not bad for the entire taste of the pizza. The meats to me are not high quality meats or fresh. My crust was good however, maybe due to the amount of topics, the middle of the pizza had a bit of a flop. S'mores: not bad however, maybe the sweet cracker didn't go with it. (My wife and I shared the desert) Brownie: this was actually a better dessert. It had chocolate chips in it and overall satisfying way to end the night. (My wife and I shared the desert) Food came pretty quick once you pay. The only waiting time is the line before ordering. The build your own pizzas are almost delicious and on point. I built three individuals and took it TO-GO.. Consistency is perfect and the staff are very attentive to detail. The manager is a good acquaintance and its always a pleasure to chat with him on our visits. We visit Blaze in Winter Park about once or twice a month and always enjoy every scrumptious bite or this mouth watering Pizza. We love adding our favorite veggies which are always fresh. The ambience is just proper for a pizza parlor ( so to speak) and the cleanliness is great. I like the boxes that are available in the dining area should you want to take a portion home without having to wait in a queue to ask for it. Often there is a lineup inside but it moves pretty fast as the staff are rather efficient in preparing your Pizza or Salad as you walk down the food line. We love Blaze Pizza and their hospitality. After ordering, I visited the restroom and there were no paper towels and no soap. I kindly informed the lady who was working the dining area and she proceeded to ask me lots of questions like "did I put my hand under the sensor?" Maybe I look like an idiot, but I can assure you I know how to get soap and paper towels from multiple type of dispensers. Another gentleman interrupted and said he'd take care of it. So good and I've had my share of Blaze pizza. 5 Stars for sure. Afterwards, I went to wash again (I'm a clean freak even before 2020) and still NO SOAP and NO PAPER TOWELS. I can understand if you run out, but if a customer informs you and you do nothing about, then shame on you. If you do nothing about it during a pandemic when it's highly recommended you wash your hands with soap for 20 seconds, then you are not doing what it takes to keep customers and your stupid selves safe!
