First time at this Winter Park location. There was a bit of a line when we came in, but it moved fast. The kids got a plain cheese (Simple Pie) and a White Top, both with the high rise crust. They looked amazing and the kids nearly finished both. I don't eat dairy most of the time, so I love that they offer non-dairy cheeses. I wasn't super hungry so I just got the vegan cheesy bread. Pretty decent... and fast... need to know what you are doing! What? DISCLAIMER-I am not a fan of pizza. I got a the BYO vegan version. This was a carry out order. Being from Chicago I have shall we say a certain pizza expectation! Blaze had a major surprise for me. The pesto cheesy bread won my heart. Indeed a simple concept that was executed very well. That alone could bring me in again. I well say I wasn't all that hyped up about the white pizza. It was good. But somewhat boring. I've only ever had a great experience at this location. The flow of the restaurant is simple and easy for everyone to follow. Employees are always welcoming and make sure you're getting all of the options. The ingredients feel fresh and I love the quantity and quality you can choose from. It's easy to customize and do a personal pie or share, depending on the size you order. My current favorite is the chopped up meatballs or sausage on top. Make sure to get the olive oil drizzle, and if you like some heat- go for the Buffalo drizzle! It's included in the cost of the generic pie. I also love that they have quite a few vegan options/ dough options, (gluten free too!!). It's easy to come here with friends for anyone with diet restrictions. To save on time I've been ordering through their app for pickup/curbside. They have a special for $7.99 (+taxes/ tip) you get a personal pie and a drink! Always a fan of Blaze. Usually go to the Disney Springs location but tried this one out. It was pretty empty inside so easy to sit with social distancing. You could tell they were quite busy with pickup orders. Overall it's always a delicious meal and you can't beat the build your own pizza price and topping selections. First time at a Blaze pizza... went with a group of 12 (5 of those were kids)... had GF options and offered to change their gloves prior to handling. The restaurant was spacious but the tables don't move so that wasn't completely ideal with kids and a larger party. Food tasted good. We tried the green stripe GF and the bbq chicken GF. I frequent this location quite a bit. Overall, pizza is decent. A bit pricey for gluten free but I don't mind paying for it but that doesn't mean it's worth it though. On TWO separate occasions, I have walked out after waiting in line and wasting my time/gas because I observed something unsanitary that turned me completely off. This second time was the final straw. The first time occurred a week or so ago... I watched the young lady who was tasked with labeling the paper for the pizza with my own two eyes, lift her hat and scratch her scalp then proceeded to take orders, touch the papers, etc. She was not wearing gloves. Now I know when I scratch my scalp, I get hair product under my nails so I'm certain she got something under hers be it the natural oils from your scalp, skin cells or whatever. Anyway, I no longer wanted the food but then I thought... had I not seen that and came in and ordered after she did that, I wouldn't have known so I tried to blow it off. Once I got up there to order my food, I observed her hands. They looked dirty and her fingers looked like they had several mini cuts on them. I said never mind and walked out. Mind you, I had waited in line for OVER 15 minutes. The second occasion October 5th, 2023, to my surprise there was no line to wait in so I walked right up to the counter. I observed the girl's hands that was going to take my order. Her hands itself looked clean until I got to the thumb on her left hand, and noticed a bandaid with tape around it. It looked old, like it had been on for the whole day or the day(s) before. In the mean time, while I'm assessing her hands, she runs her hand/fingers across the top of the paper to flatten it I suppose... I'm disgusted. I'm certain that bandaid is filthy and a bandaid usually means a break in the skin which means there's probably blood. This time, I chose to say something. I said to her, "I see you have a bandaid on your finger. Shouldn't you be wearing gloves?" She searches around like she's going to find some to put on. I got the manager's attention (the black guy) I said, "now she shouldn't she be wearing gloves with that bandaid on her finger?" I can't remember if he said anything or not but she said, "I'm not touching food." I replied, "but you're touching the paper that people's food has to go on." A male worker offered to get a new paper for me but I declined and left the store. I am disappointed that this location partakes in unsanitary practices. I am a huuuge fan of Blaze Pizza and this location is great! The line gets pretty long so expect to wait 10-15 minutes to get up to the front. Keep in mind that they are building personal pizzas so it takes a bit longer for the line to move. There are a variety of menu items including pizza, breads, salad, and desserts. My favorite menu item is the 11 inch pizza with ham, it's delicious! I've tried a few of their desserts and they are also great, I would recommend their chocolate brownie for a bit of sweetness after lunch/dinner. We love Blaze even before they opened locations in Central Florida. This location is extra awesome. We tend to go out of our way just to enjoy pizza here. The service, food and atmosphere is amazing. For starters there is always a super long line but it moves fast because the team here is amazing and they are all hardworking, friendly and take allergies serious with no annoyance. I love that this location offers the take two deal. I build my own salad and pizza for the price of one! My boyfriend is allergic to gluten and dairy and they whole heartedly take his allergies seriously. They even offer gluten free garlic knots here unlike other locations and OMG they make us both feel like normal humans who can eat bread again. Also they offer vegan cheese and gf crust so it's an amazing place for people like him. Service here is phenomenal and everyone is so friendly. A random older female associate noticed our baby was just watching us eat so she brought him a small cup of pineapple and strawberries with our permission and if that isn't going above and beyond Idk what it. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza, cheese sticks, Caesar salad and for dessert a smores pie. Everything was absolutely delicious. My family and I were very happy and satisfied. It was almost $30 for 2 pizzas & drinks for 2 people. At that point it's comparable to sit down dining prices elsewhere. The bathroom was a bit gross. Every Blaze location has amazing food and customer service; I've never had a bad experience here! Blaze is a customizable pizza shop, comparable to a Chipotle or Subway, but for pizza. I always order the Build-Your-Own -- this includes unlimited toppings on their classic crust. However, I wouldn't recommend getting too many toppings because the crust is thin and will fall apart. I always get a mix of their classic and spicy red sauce, but they also offer alfredo/white sauce. They have a huge arrangements of cheese, meats, and vegetables. My favorites include their basil, tomatoes, and sausage. It definitely takes a few times to figure out what your favorite mix of toppings is. At the end, you'll see them put your pizza in their fire oven. After they remove it, you have the opportunity to request additional toppings like sauce drizzles, arugula, etc. I always get their buffalo sauce on the side, but their basil pesto is also amazing. This entire process takes about 15 minutes, but there's usually a line during peak hours. Nonetheless, the workers do a great job of keeping things moving! It consisted of mozzarella, parmesan, ricotta (yummmm) their red sauce, fresh basil and after it's cooked a balsamic drizzle. I would only recommend the high rise if you like a lot of dough because it was way to filling for me and I'm a fat ass. Every time I go the staff is super friendly. It is baked in the oven in a matter of just a short few minutes and you have your pizza ready to eat. Honestly foods always good but they don't have a system here. I was in line waiting for about 20 minutes with no one in here to start putting my pizza together. The Ucf location never drops the ball but today made me not want to come back to this one. There was workers talking and messing around while only a handful were actually helping. After 3 minutes in the million degree oven, you come out with a perfectly thin and crispy dough with bubbly cheesy goodness! I don't even like pizza that much, but Blaze has got my vote! The line may seem long and the restaurant may look busy but I'll tell you this, they have a very good system in place which makes the line move fast. I think my friend and I waited approximately 10 minutes. The menu give you the choice of created your own pie and picking from their specialty pizza. My friend and I decided we were going to created our own pie and I was amazed by the different toppings offered. She made her quite simple a white pizza with ricotta cheese, basil and oregano. She added in the end a dollop of tomato sauce. It was tasty. I was more adventurous and picked a lot of toppings. My main topping however was artichokes and goat cheese. This place is amazing! First time here and Like other reviews this is the pizza version of a Chipotle! So good I ate my whole pizza without feeling overly stuffed and gross. The prices are really good too and they now offer other crust options to accommodate someone's diet! They have a huge amount of toppings and proteins and it is all unlimited. My only problem was the actual employee making my pizza ... She looked like she really dislikes her job. She was mad the whole time very robot like, didn't make eye contact or said a word to me. Later on I found out there are sauces they can drizzle on top too but she didn't mentioned it so I didn't get to add any. Everyone else was super friendly. Today my friends and I went to the winter park location for lunch and we got down to the toppings and guy with a choker necklace on had just grabed the vegan chorizo which has soy in it for the customer ahead of us. Then a worker with a grey shit asked us what topping we would like, and put on the sausage and asked the choker worker to put the peperoni on the pizza, as he grabes it we ask him to change his gloves due to an allergy. The grey shit worker grabes the pepperoni out of his hands and puts on our pizza. Nowing there is an allergy. I am unhappy that this accured and hope this business fixes this issue and learns allergens and what to do when a customer comes through the line with one. read more
