Their thin crust is one of the few pizzas that reminds me of the pizza place of my childhood in Altamonte Springs. This is now our GO-TO pizza place. Fratello's Pizza offers good service and possesses an ambiance that you would expect from a national chain of pizza. Fratello's isn't just a pizza place, it's an American joy to have especially in this day and age where everywhere you go you're expected to pay 15 dollars or more for a meal. Not only is the pizza truly excellent but I was talked out of getting their 12" pizza one topping (#9) for their go to (#1) which was one large slice that was not only way cheaper but was more than enough for me as someone who can eat a lot. They chose to talk me out of spending more money on them when they could have just let me do what I originally wanted and had been just as content. They're truly a spot that is for the people. Everyone in there was sweet and kind and very welcoming and I hadn't been satisfied by pizza like that in quite a while and love when I stumble upon smaller places like these. Anyone giving this place less than 5 stars is an insufferable human being and shouldn't be allowed to review anything let alone give an opinion on food. I have not had their pizza...BUT, let me tell you about their wings and their Greek salad. So so so good! We went to an event at The Haven right next door, so we popped in to Fratello's to grab some dinner. Me being Keto (trying rather) opted to get wings and a salad (this is the second time that we have done this) and each time their wings have been on point. We get the medium garlic wings, and a large Greek salad. Last night we bought for 4 people and they had a 24 wing special for about $20. Their Greek small is about $5 and the large salad is $7-$8. Anyways- their wings are cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasonings and their salads are PACKED and full of flavor (yes I know some people cant imagine salad with flavor). The pizza is great I have let nine of my Nabors try this and it's the only place they now order. Price are still great the cheese has recently changed still great and less grease. The wings are also just as good, and my favorite is the burgers they are to die for best I have ever tasted and I travel a lot. I have ordered from them four times now..first order it was pick up, we live 3 mins away and got home to have a cold pizza but it was very good and the salad was giant! Fratellos catered our department meeting, and it was a hit. We ordered 15 pizzas, 6 orders or garlic knots and three large salads for a group of 40. This "business" called us back, refused to deliver to our address because the Owner said they couldn't....... no good reason, just "because". I just moved to Winter Park from Philadelphia PA and tonight I decided to hunt for my new regular pizza place. I decided to give this place a try based on google reviews and the proximity to my apartment since I was getting it delivered. The wait time was normal so no complaints there and the delivery girl was charming. However, the bottom of the box was soaked through with grease. I ordered a margarita pizza and all it was was a white pizza with sliced tomatoes on top. I ordered a medium sized pizza and a 2L of cherry coke. After living on this side of town for many years, I FINALLY tried Fratello's pizza. And boy am I glad that I did. The pizza was ordered for pick-up, the time frame they gave me was accurate, the pizza was delicious - I give any pizza two thumbs up if it can be consumed without having to use two hands - and the service was great. Our son who lives locally and is in the food industry recommended this pizza spot while we were in Winter Park for a longer than expected hospital stay. We didn't realize it was strictly take out but after we got past that we so enjoyed the pizza. We tried a regular cheese XL for the same price as med that night and the margherita pizza which I loved. It had fresh ingredients and just the right amount of garlic. Their crust is fairly thin which I enjoy but I did see some deep dish styles pizzas being made also. I enjoyed watching the guy making the pizza and throwing the dough. I also had a small house salad which was huge and really good including the Kens Golden Italian in a package even tho I don't normally like packaged dressing. Totally bummed about my customer experience. I ordered delivery. My girlfriend can't eat tomato and i specifically asked for there to be no tomato sauce and to replace it with pesto. I explained the need twice. Yeah, order came wrong. When I called I was told they would look to see who took the order wrong. There was no apology or offer to fix problem. Over the 4 years I've lived in Orlando, I've gone through quite a few pizza places. Some most of them forgettable, some of them are not for good and bad reasons. I came across Fratello's after I got fed up with paying Domino's prices. I really do like Dominos' pizza, but I just can't justify the price. Fratello's has great pizza at a really affordable price. Their 16" cheese costs about as much as Dominos' 10" if I recall. Their website also doesn't mention it but, as I remember, they don't have a delivery fee for orders of $10+ which is partly why Domino's is so expensive. This may have since changed. They have wings which, in my opinion, are some of the best in the area as well. Their desserts are great but, a little pricey, and I'm yet to try the burgers, but I surely will one day. If you're looking for an awesome pizza at an affordable price, I'd give Fratello's a try. You won't regret it. read more

Called to get specials on pizza and wings. When pizza arrived it was cold, not what we ordered and had approximately 7 pieces of sausage on it. I called immediately and was transferred to "GERALD"! Apparently, he was the owner. He was very argumentative with me and clearly didn't appreciate "us" his over 8 year customer. Not only, did he over charge us for the pizza, he actually acted like he was doing us a favor when he said he would credit our account. He didn't even ask us to remake our pizza. I can tell you - when ordering your pizza or wings - don't ask them about the specials. They overcharge certain customers and don't offer the same deals. They are worse than a used car dealership. This place is unbelievable. They have by far the best pizzas in town they even have an olive oil crust. You have to try their wings and their specials sometimes they even have a boneless pork barbecue sandwich which is unbelievable. This place is a must for any resident of central Florida. Unbelievably upset by what I just received. First of all I want to start by saying the pizza they use to make 7-9 month ago was unreal. Since then they have continually gotten worse. Tonight just broke the straw for me. I paid $30 for 2 large pizzas and what I got was close to the level of little ceasers pizza. There was way to much cheese, the pizza was floppy "when it use to have a great crisp" and there was to much marinara. Unprofessional, discourteous , and immature. These are the three words that best describe fratello's customer service . Three weeks ago, I had an incorrect order, and called to make a complaint. A woman who took my order, then again answered my call back. The woman hung up the phone,after I informed them that the order she took was incorrect. I said To the woman "you must have not been listening clearly to me, because I was very slow and coherent making my order." She didn't like this , and she hung up on me. I called again and made a complaint to the manager , who offered food compensation, I refused and said the issue wasn't the pizza any longer. A simple apology , and a "we will do right next time," would have been fine , but now, I'm being mistreated by the staff. I asked them to please do something about the employee and said goodbye. (Know that I only was expecting discipline or a write up, not a termination) Now this is where the issue becomes a true example of Fratello's immaturity ... I called just a few moments ago, willing to give them another try, and I was blown off. First I called and a man answered the phone , he said I was breaking up, I said I'll call back. When I called back the same woman I had an issue with 3 weeks ago then answered . I said can I please speak with the man I was just talking to and she replied, your breaking up... Now, the fact I was breaking up once is understandable, but twice , and that she was the person to pick up after I immediately called back....tells me everything .
