This is probably the best fast food pizza place. It's set up like Chipotle. You pick your main toppings, sauce, and whatever veggies toppings you want. I had their specialty pizza white top. Three stars for the location - 5 stars for the actual business. This review is mainly for the pickup service I've received when I place my order and show up to pick it up. The system is flawed. It's super convenient to be able to put in my order through the app as soon as I get out of class during the week. It's usually 8pm, I'm exhausted from a very long day of work and school and I just want my pizza and to go home. So here's my story: I always get a build your own and specifically ask for it to be made a certain way in the box that asks for "specific instructions" for the workers. The first order I did to go my instructions were taken as suggestions I suppose because it didn't get done. I let it go because I've come to this location quite a few times and they never have disappointed me before. When I go in an order, no problem . But the second time I ordered to go, they were so behind on my order they didn't even put in on the rack. Instead, the guy kept it on on top of the glass where everyone else grabs their pizza and assumed I'd somehow know it was there. It was crazy. There was a line for the pick up but not for the orders. How could you be THAT confused as to what to do with two small boxes of pizza!? And on top of waiting 7 minutes past my pick up time, my "suggestion" box was ignored again. Anyways. Third time ordering from the app (I know, you'd think after 2 times of being neglected I'd just walk them through making the pizza but nope). I really wanted to get in and get out so much so - I put for the pizza to be ready by 7:59pm so they'd sense the urgency behind not quite making it to 8pm lol Well - It worked. It was up there waiting for me when I arrived. Bravo guys! But...when I got home to eat my lukewarm pizza not only were my suggestions ignored but now the DRIZZLE options were!! literally ruined my pizza and my night. So much so, here's my review. The Disney Springs location is closer to me and they have NEVER ever messed up my orders. I don't know what it is about this place, but I'm officially done. Moral of my story is just please, if you're in a rush and want to order to go, you're better off just watching them make the pizza exactly how you want it and leaving with it then. read more

The line also moves surprisingly fast - I have at times waited longer for my food at Chipotle. The first time I went they somehow lost my pizza (I believe they boxed it and gave it to someone else on accident); however, they were quick to rectify the situation by remaking the pizza and including a free pizza voucher for next time. Blaze is best if you are with a group that has different tastes as you can all get your own pizza exactly how you want it. They will not replace my usual local go to spots but definitely a good choice for mixing it up. When you enter you will wait in line but it moves quickly. While waiting, look over the menu cards to explore your options. You can do a make your own (highly suggest) or pick from the predetermined pizzas. Create your own is the best value as you get any and everything you want for around $8 per personal pizza! Even if you get every meat, cheese, and veggie (which I wouldn't recommend as you'd ruin your pizza) there is no additional charge. When you get to the counter to order you get fresh made and pressed dough. Original is like a thin crust. They also offer gluten free crust which my mother in law said was the best she has ever had! They also offer vegan options. Then you go down the line with your pizza and pick any toppings you like which staff will arrange in your pie. You can ask for more of something as you go unlike Chipotle where an extra scoop may cost you. Once you craft your pizza it is fast fired in an oven and ready in only a couple minutes. Top how you like with sauces and enjoy! Perfect example of why this place is great was our trip: Out with in laws and each of us made a different pizza to suit our tastes. Husband got lots of meats, I loaded up on veggies on mine, mother in law was in gluten free heaven, and father in law loaded up on a little bit of everything. Blaze is a fast growing national pizza chain. It's like the chipotle of pizza. Tell them what you want walk along the counter, they assemble your pizza and throw it into an oven. What's good: the pizza is a very tasty pie and they have a great selection of drinks like aqua fresca or blood orange lemonade. The bad you can order a pizza and drink spend $12 and still walk away hungry. I'm by no means a large eater, my wife and will often split entree's and still come home with leftovers. However not with Blaze. Pizza is a fairly simple food: bread, sauce, cheese. It kills me to see expensive pizza or pasta when their isn't a reason to be expensive. Again the food was tasty but the value to taste ratio is not high enough for me, particularly when there are so many places where you can get a decent slice at. read more

Came here on new year's day for mine and my husband's annual New Year's day lunch. This place is "Chipotle style" where you pick your toppings as your pizza makes it's way down the line or you can choose one of their recommend pizza combinations (which are also customizable for no additional cost) The girls that helped us create our pies were very friendly, and they answered our questions with patience seeing as this was our first visit. They placed the ingredients on the pies perfectly, and each bite was perfect. They hand the pies off to the person that puts them in the fire to cook while you pay and find your seat. I left a star off because the boy that fired the pizzas answered the phone and was very rude to the potential customer on the other end. When he answered the phone he immediately said "yes we're open" without giving the other person time to speak. Then I heard him say (with frustration) "um yeah you can bring your dog, obviously only on the patio outside". When he hung up he continued to mock the person he just spoke with to the other employees behind the counter. For the most part I really enjoyed my visit, and the food was very tasty. Everything was priced well, we ended up paying $22 for two pies and two fountain drinks. I will return, however I hope that one employee learns some manners. read more

Not gonna lie - I was a little skeptical of this place for some reason. I guess I thought there was not a way to get through a Chipotle-style pizza place that fires up your pizza and still have it taste good and come out quickly... but I was wrong! The concept is super simple, just move through the assembly line and the employees guide you through the whole process. I normally go with a white top pizza or the meat lover but I customize them every time so I don't know if I've ever had the same type of pizza more than once. For now, they have been very generous with allowing you to add as many toppings as you'd like. Not sure how long that will last because I feel like people would take advantage of that but I will enjoy it while it lasts! If you were a skeptic like me, hopefully you'll give em a shot. Hubby and I went here for the first time tonight. A buddy who works in Winter Park told us about it and I've had it bookmarked here on yelp for a couple months. I thought it was great! We both did the build your own, me with the regular crust and hubby got the thicker crust. The crust on mine was thin and crispy, and cooked well. I topped mine with the classic sauce (I asked for it light because I don't like a super saucy pizza and it was perfect), mozzarella, Parmesan, roasted garlic, bacon, and onions. It was a perfect quick Fri dinner. The line went quick, they had plenty of people working. The pizzas cooked pretty quickly too. Hubby thought his was great also, he loaded more meats on his, like sausage and pepperoni. He also ordered a side salad. He said it was nice and fresh. I didn't order a salad as they use different greens and I'm strictly a romaine/iceberg kind of gal. The restaurant itself was clean and the people working were friendly. I also enjoy that they keep to go boxes by the soda fountain for your leftovers. Then you don't have to bother the staff asking for one. Sure you have your line where you tell them what toppings you want but the similarities stop there. My husband and I went in on a Sunday mid afternoon, the guy that first greeted us was kinda like a robot but it rude in anyway, the young lady that does the sauce and the cheese didn't listen I asked for extra cheese and she didn't put it on the pizza, I got my normal type of pizza pepperoni and black olives, again same issue I got 5 pepperoni and maybe 8 slices of black olives.... I had to again ask for more. Checkout was easy the lady that calls you for ur pizza was nice. My husbands pizza was white sauce with feta and another cheese can't remember off the top of my head, he had chicken and sausage, again same thing he maybe had 5 small pieces of chicken.
