Waitress was easily distracted (while delivering our drinks and bread, someone she knew, a regular maybe, called her and she dropped what she was doing and ran over to him and started chatting it up). Let's cut right to the chase: The food is disgusting. This past Saturday I ordered the 1/2 BBQ chicken dinner. The chicken was beyond overcooked and dry, I could barely even cut it with a knife and it was unbelievably chewy. To make matters worse, the BBQ sauce was terrible. I can't even describe the flavor ... certainly unlike any sauce I've ever tasted in my life. The side of cole slaw was swimming in mayo; it was more like a side bowl of mayo with a few pieces of cabbage tossed in. We also ordered the onion loaf, but what we received was a plate of onion rings. When we asked about it, we were told the plate of onion rings was indeed the onion loaf. Needless to say we left disappointed, hungry, and over $100 lighter in the pocket. Never again will we set foot inside Blazin Bills. There are plenty of far better BBQ places around Cleveland and the suburbs. Sadly, I'm pretty sure the management could not care less about a customer's dissatisfaction. read more

I feel like 3 stars is too little but 4 may be too much but I will lean towards the side of 4. There were some good points and some iffy points! They don't take reservations which gets hairy around dinner. They told us it wouldn't be bad but when we got there around 5:30 it was over an hour wait for a table for 4. Luckily they do have a good area to wait in with tables and chairs which made it not as bad. Once we were seated we got our appetizer of fried onions quickly which was nice! Its not the best I've had but it was a nice starter. Then came dinner. We got the ribs. They were delicious! So we're the fries and Mac and cheese especially. The ribs were cooked perfectly. Carmalized and slightly crispy on the outside but still fall of the bone and juicy on the inside. It would be much better if they served everything on a bigger plate though. Everything seemed crowded and no room for rib bones. If it was on a bigger plate it would seem like more and be a better presentation. But the food itself was still delicious! We were driving from Massachusetts to Cleveland and drove by this place. It was definitely worth the stop! Jen P. was an amazing waitress who stopped by to chat with us. She was so friendly and attentive.The food was amazing! Probably the best bbq I have ever had! I consider my self a coleslaw snob and this was excellent not too sweet but with great flavor. Very Good. I would have given 5 stars but our waitress wasn't good. I had the rib lovers combo which was 1/2 slab of ribs and 1/4 chicken. There was a misunderstanding between the waitress and I when I asked what section of the chicken it would be and she said beeast and leg. I wanted a breast so I told her breast and i ended up with a bonless breast. For $2 more, so yes I was a bit disappointed. But everything was hot and delicious. Warm bread was good. The macaroni and cheese is frozen Stouffers, I am absolutely sure of that. The baked beans are nothing special at all. Their seating policy is interesting. I usually go for the ribs. It can be a 50-50 chance if they are fresh and tender. I love baked potatoes, but they may sometimes be from the day before. I'm not fond of that taste. I also take my own butter for bread or potatoes. I have no idea what that crap they have is, it's not even margarin. Margarin would taste better. My wife and I just stopped at this restaurant and ordered lunch. We both ordered French onion soup and it was though the cook poured a whole carton of salt in it. Then we split a burger. We just moved out to Burton from the city. Our first venture out brought us to Blazin Bills! We have to drive passed it everyday to get to our home and they're always packed. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. Which wasn't bad because they have a covered porch area with ample seating. I had a nice conversation with a 93 year old Veteran. We were sat and waited maybe 3 minutes tops. We put in our order for drinks and food at the same time. We knew we wanted chicken and ribs. So, that's what I ordered. The chicken was super moist and literally fell off the bone. The BBQ sauce was sweet and tangy. It was absolutely mouth watering. Then, I dug into my corn on the cob and ribs. The corn was sweet and salty with extra butter and the ribs? Damn, the ribs were perfect. Meaty and delicious with the same BBQ sauce. They didn't fall off the bone. But, in my opinion good ribs shouldn't fall off the bone. My husband ordered Cole slaw as one of his sides and I took a bite of it. I immidietly ordered another side of slaw. It was incredibly tasty. The meal didn't cost us a fortune, the staff was super friendly and for how busy they were, the place was clean. I would definitely recommend this place for some good BBQ.
