We decided to get carry out from Blazin Bills as it was a ribs type of a Saturday. First day for outdoor seating and everyone wanted to enjoy a first meal out. We were absolutely appalled at how some of these customers acted. A bunch (5-6) of old white guys with white hair, sperrys, khaki shorts, were the worst. They stood around the hostess desk berating those young girls about their long wait., while the girls were taking orders, answering phones and delivering carry outs. One guy complained about his food being cold, but showed up an hour after his food was supposed to be picked up. The biggest complainer of all whined about the lack of social distancing, but was in everyone's face complaining and he had no mask. These people acted as if they were let out of a cage and had no manners - I was embarrassed for them. We ordered our food for pickup and they told us 40 minutes - it was actually a little longer But that was fine, we saw how crazy it was. The food as always was delicious and hot even though we drove home 20 min. Baby backs were tender and flavorful. Just three stars for this place. It is kind of a sterile bland looking restaurant, the service was subpar, and the food was just OK. We didn't have much of a wait which was nice, and everything was very clean. Which is important nowadays. Well, it's important all the time, but it's especially important now. Would I go back? We were here mid-afternoon on Saturday. Our waitress was excellent. My husband loved the beef-ribs. My chicken was as ordered and okay. The kitchen was another story. The Gordon Ramsey wanna-be in the kitchen screaming about a toaster loudly and clanging pans should be fired. He totally ruined our experience. In addition to the fireworks in the kitchen, the plastic wrap in the applesauce was the icing on the cake. I will say that the waitress made the plastic in the food right by taking the meal off the check without our asking. All in all, I doubt that we will be back. it's been years since Ive been to Blazin Bills and I will never return. WOW this place has gone downhill! The food was extremely overpriced. we paid $17 for cheeseburgers that were obviously made with frozen meat patties, the buns were so thin and soggy they fell apart and the overall quality was less than Mcdonalds. I got a $15 dollar chicken sand which with a skinny skinny flavorless piece of rubbery chicken. 2 people got ribs that were Eh with cold, flavorless sides. This restaurant has quickly become a favorite for my husband and I. We have taken several guests there and everyone raved about the seafood and ribs. And even though they forewarn that they are understaffed, our service has been excellent. The entire staff and management are extremely attentive and courteous. Blazing Bill's BBQ. I need to give a little insight behind this review. I grew up in North Eastern Ohio as a child and teen when the rib cook off was in the Cleveland flats. I then moved to Kansas City and enjoyed the American Royal rib cook off yearly and learned my own skills there before moving to San Diego and not really having good BBQ. I moved back to the area over the summer. When you walk into a BBQ restaurant there is a lot you can tell without tasting a bite of food. First thing is when you get out of the car, what do you smell? There should be a smokey or burning wood smell. This will let you know weather they are smoking or at least trying to on sight. It will to the trained nose tell you what ki d of wood is used. Sadly this place does not smoke on sight or use wood in cooking the meat. This is not to say anything is wrong by any stretch. Ribs and meat can be very good not an Ned on sight. So it is 5pm on a Tuesday. Seated very promptly and offered drinks by Billy. Looked over the menu and decided on the pork lovers with 2 sides, homemade baked beans and homemade Mac and cheese. Pork lovers is the rack if ribs and pulled pork. Meal comes with order of house made bread, nothing to write home about served with plain butter. Billy very good waiter explained the homemade slaw and all the sauces that were available. Mom ordered the 1/2 slab baby backs mild sauce. Food came in very good time. Ribs were very moist fall off the bone tender. They were however not smoked and as I ordered dry they were not charged on the grill as I had wished. Also no seasoning so I am left to think they were boiled at some stage. Mom's came wet and were charred. The silver skin was left on the back of the ribs. The pulled pork was omg so good tender and just the right sauce. It was tang of vinegar meets kc sweet. A definite 10. The baked beans were another great 10+. Not over cooked beans with a bit of smoke in them just wonderful. Mac and cheese was a fail. Over cooked noodles like mush bland. The overall cost was decent what I expected. The building was wonderful very clean not even dust on any ledges or dirt behind the booth seat. Billy while good never asked if we wanted or needed refills. I will definitely go back for the pulled pork. read more

This used to be one of my favorite places to go, however, it's gone down hill. What used to be a great walk in place for great ribs and steak after a long summer day now doesn't treat you with the same respect unless you have a reservation (even with an empty dinning hall). The management, staff, and even the owner will treat you and your guests like that unwelcome loud uncle at the family reunion that no one wanted to invite. My husband ordered the Surf & Turf (1/2 slab of BBQ ribs and a crab leg) and a bottle of root beer. On the menu the meal he ordered did not have a price. It was printed that the price would depend on the current market value of seafood. The food was good but nothing to write home about. When we got our bill it was not itemized. It simply had the total plus tax. We were shocked that our bill came to $97.00. So minus my $15.00 pulled pork platter... my husband surf & turf and root beer cost $82.00 ?!! Beware... hidden costs. I grew up sitting on phone books here and my parents bringing a cooler full of beer when it was BYOB. Fast forward 20 years and still some of the BEST BBQ I've ever had. They have moved into a new location, but the BBQ is still AMAZING!! For four people we ordered: Full slab, 1/2 slab dinner, BBQ chicken dinner, 1/3 slab and 1/4 chicken dinner. Shocked at how good the beef bbq ribs were. Half slab with 2 sides plenty for 1 person. Wish we had a more pleasant experience with service. We were sat 45 min later than they quoted. Once sat, it took a long time for the server to do everything - get water, food, checks. The patio was nice but sit out there once dusk comes around and you'll be eaten alive by mosquitos. So was the food worth all the trouble? Not sure - thus the 3 stars. read more

We stoped here after visiting a friend. I kinda thought the name of the place was not to interesting. It is a brand new building with very simple decor. Prices on the menu seemed high for the ambiance of the place. Guess they are trying to pay down their debt quickly. Anyhow the $13.50 pulled pork sandwich that only came with a pickle and 2oz. of slaw, was average taste, nothing really WOWing. My wife and I split it as that is our custom, by the price I assumed I would need a to go box, the french fries, which we did not get charged for, were cold and greasy. Finally stopped by to try the ribs. Got the pulled pork which was sooooo good. Ribs looked and smelled delicious so took those home. Had the chicken raisin salad. Large portion was good. Sweet potato fries didn't have any flavor. Onion ring loaf was a pile of yummy onions. Would have liked to seen the loaf. The venue is newer with lots of room. Bar is in a separate room with booths. my daughter worked here for 2 years since she was 15. the female owner is nothing but drama, talks to these underage kids like they are worthless, causes problems between all the workers and constantly threatens to fire them. 6/22/24 the cook grabbed a waitress by her neck and slammed her against a wall in front of customers and the female owner refused to fire him- 9 female workers adults and under age, told her they were not going to come back if he didn't get fired because they were afraid- so she fired them for not showing up to work the next day. there is nothing but drama between the owners and their own personal business that a facility should not be telling all their workers. this place is a mess. do not work here. do not let your child work here. all they care about is their money, the management is horrible no managers or owners are ever around to do their job as will constantky blame the workers and text them and belittle them. 0 stars. read more

Best baby back ribs in Ohio! If you're looking for Ribs, this is the place to go. The ribs are nearly falling off the bone and the bbq sauce is incredible. They also have a hotter bbq sauce if that is your speed. On top of the ribs, the sides and appetizers are to die for as well. Blazin' Bills. I'm not really quite sure how to say this without it coming out weird. I've been there a number of times and while it's not blow-your-mind good, it is definitely the best food you can get around Hiram. Went there with a couple of friends from college and we had a great time. Didn't quite know what to expect from the 'onion loaf,' but we got this gorgeous mound of fried onions (we only got the half order, and the 4 of us had a hard time finishing it) with this very bizarre thing called 'Tiger Sauce.' Now. When a place out in BFE starts putting strange names on white sauces, I get a little nervous. However, it's basically mayo with horseradish and with the fried onions, it was tasty. Then hilarity ensued. Menu says that fresh bread comes with the meals. Fresh bread, apparently in Troy Township, means a hoagie bun. An honest to G-d hoagie bun, mechanical slice down the middle and all. With a knife in it. Ya know, to make it classy. But. I didn't go to BBs for bread. I went for the ribs. And oh, what ribs they are. Delicious and tender, I could eat them for days if you were so inclined to foot the bill and wheel me to and from the bathroom in a wheelbarrow. So. If you're stuck in the middle of BFE and need a decent meal, definitely recommend BBs. Get the ribs. Stay away from the hoagie bun. read more

My mom had an insatiable craving for beef ribs (my parents keep "kosher" so no pork rib could work), so we treked out from our suburb and have no regrets whatsoever. Service was friendly, however a little slow for a Sunday afternoon. It was actually pretty surprising how packed Blazin' Bills was for 3 pm on a Sunday. We ordered beef ribs and an onion loaf. The onion loaf was delicious...however I'm not sure why it wasn't just called "onion rings," because our "loaf" was just a plate piled high with onion rings. The ribs were incredible. They had clearly been smoked for a substantial length of time, which yielded fall of the bone meat. Their sauce was a very pleasant mix of sweetness, spice and vinegar. But lets focus on the food, not the safety hazard, unless of course your idea of a good time at dinner is the faint possibility of using the emergency exits with your hands covered in sauce. In all seriousness, if the place did catch a 'Blaze' I'd probably at least finish my BBQ Jalapeños and then bolt for the door. What a great side dish! Known for their ribs, there are other kinds of food for different tastes, but lets face it, when it comes down to it, its a BBQ stop, not a vegan friendly chow down. You won't leave hungry, and if you do, you did something wrong. Their flavor is lasting like the scorch marks on the walls. We are from Detroit and have a few excellent and very authentic BBQ restaurants. Drive past here a few times a year and stopped by today. Service: just ok. Friendly, but inefficient. Time for food: AWFUL!!! We were here at 1:30 pm and the restaurant was pretty empty. Ordered 2 pulled pork sandwiches. Took 30 minutes for foot to arrive. About 20 minutes into wait had to flag down waitress to ask about status. Was told kitchen takes a long time to serve 1st pulled pork dish of the day because they had to make it. So we expected very moist freshly pulled pork. Food: after half hour wait, pulled pork sandwiches arrived. Meat was room temp. Plus meat was dry, hard, and over sauced. Pork was not hand pulled, but rather chopped. Sauce is not the best. Hot sauce is barely spicy. Overall: just not good. read more

We waited 45 minutes to get seated. Then we ordered, got drink and a bread basket. Then the server just disappeared in to thin air. We stopped here for appetizers on our way to the Apple Store on our way to Cleveland. It always looks busy and reviews from friends and Yelp have been positive. Our potatoes skins were excellent and the pickle pedals were also excellent. The would have been even better if they were freshly done and not just warmed up out of a bag. Great little BBQ joint out of the way on Route 422 good simple menu, food is always well prepared my favorites have always been the baby back ribs and chicken nice smoke favor and fully cooked and tender. The service has always been good. They do have a unique item I've always enjoyed as a starter smoked jalapeño peppers in BBQ sauce you never know the heat range some are mild and some are extremely hot so it's a risk reward item but always very good. The place can get a little crowded and loud on the weekends but a friendly atmosphere lots of good memories here. I would recommend stopping in if your in the area and their open. read more
