Watch your back at this bar! My friends and I attended on Saturday night and one of my friends was drugged. She was stuck in the bathroom unable to move. As we tried to get to her, security was throwing her out and left her sitting in front by herself. She was incoherent and vomiting. Spectacular service. We hosted my mother in Laws 50th surprise birthday party here and the entire process was extremely seemless. Michael and his entire staff were super responsive and made sure all our needs were met . We ordered a buffet style dinner for over 30 people and the food was delicious! I can only recommend this venue great service at an unbeatable price . It is a nightclub however we were able to turn it into am amazing event that included children . Bouncers are awfully rude. My friend and I checked in at the desk for our party and walked in, well I guess the bouncer thought we didn't so he ran in after us and was yelling at us to go back out side and pay, really embarrassed us in front of the whole club. We proceed to walk out and go back to the desk just for the lady working there to tell him we already checked in. The whole thing was unnecessary and embarrassing. Also the music was lame. Over priced food, absolutely no customer service and to top it off simple math takes over 30 minutes. If you can't handle a party of 12 people or more, please do your customers a favor and say that ahead of time. I just witnessed the worst dining experience in my life. We order our meals ahead of time and are then told that they ran out of gnocchi, excuse me, but isn't that the purpose of ordering ahead of time??? Next, short rib should be a dish served with a tiny bit of fat, but not the entire dish! You offer no apologies, but instead a $6 cocktail to make up for the shitty $28 dish. To top it off, you mess up our tags and we spend over 30 minutes trying to fix it...but shockingly it still was not. It's alright. Food is a bit pricey for the quality. It's definitely a club atmosphere, even before it's late into the evening, so you have to be into that. I mean a club atmosphere is fine, but it looks like a stereotypical club, kind of like a mix between the look of a high school prom meets a strip club. Will never go back. We were there last Saturday & got bottle service. We were told it would be $180, but when my friend checked her receipt she got charged $240. She figured it was just a misunderstanding so she went back & tried to figure it out. She talked to the owner & he tried to say it was for 2 bottles, only we never got that second bottle. When that excuse didn't work he said it was for 20% gratuity. When the math didn't add up on that either he got irritated & turned pretty aggressive. Incredible! We were in town yesterday for the Wine Stroll and chose Blend because of existing positive Yelp reviews. We arrived around 5:30 and were seated promptly on the patio area. We ordered a bunch of tapas including the bruschetta. Everything was great and we ended up ordering more! The wine was also fantastic - we had two bottles of M2 wines. The owner and all of the staff were awesome! To add to that, we'd just made a long drive and my phone was dead. They plugged it in to charge behind the bar which made it possible for me to take pictures of the event all night! After the Wine Stroll, we ended up at Blend again for more wine, cocktails, and more snacks. The owner really is providing top customer service in this establishment. Absolutely amazing spot for food and drinks!! My husband and I shared some bacon wrapped dates, Bruschetta, skirt steak, blend burger, bread pudding, and a variety of cocktails including the Irish coffee and a citrus martini with muddled mint. Everything we tasted was absolutely incredible and we WILL most definitely be returning. The atmosphere, service, and quality of product is on point. If you haven't tried this place out yet...what the heck are you waiting for?!?! The owner even personally came to our table to ask how we felt about everything and to see what feedback we could give him. It might be open super late, but it is far from a nightclub. The food was great tonight! Pork chops, burgers, and bruschetta! I will say that the French fries were all a little over cooked, however. They were too crispy and seemed to have spent too much time in the fryer. I'd much prefer a better done fry with such a good burger. read more

I'd give it 5 but I haven't tried their food yet. The establishment is Professional, Customer Service oriented, and they treat their staff very well... Which speaks a lot about owners who love what they do for a living. I used to be a restaurant consultant in SF and I'm usually unimpressed with restaurants around the San Joaquin Valley. I went in for a drink on NYE just to have one and then head off, but the vibe would have it otherwise. The decor is designed to really open up the room, it's very warm and gives focus to the bar. Their Beer, wine, selection of spirits and cocktail list are balanced and approachable, even though I didn't have anything for dinner their food menu is on point as well (American Infusion). I would definitely recommend this place for Date night drinks at the bar or out in the patio, which has additional seating, comfortable couches with coffee tables, bar tables and heat lamps. You can tell everything has been thought out and the business has it's focus. I can only see it getting better.. They hire well too. Everyone there knows what it means to be personable and diligent and no one is overly attentive or smothering. They watch you but you would never know that until your glass is full, and your space is cleared. Best of luck guys!! read more

This place is a scam. They can charge you whatever they feel like charging you for bottle service even though their bottle service menu has a set price. We are from out of town and we're looking for someplace downtown Lodi to eat. This restaurant is it back a bit in a hallway but worth looking for. The restaurants main attraction is it's bar and I was a bit hesitant to eat there wondering about the quality of the food. We were pleasantly surprised starting with the prawn appetizer which was great. For the main I enjoyed the swordfish which was done a little differently than I have had it before, it was poached and delicious. The swordfish was served in a light clam stew and was accompanied by several steamed clams. Also for a main we enjoyed the eggplant Parmesan which was topped with a very nice olive tapenade. As a bonus they offer a wine list with several local wines and a very nice beer list. Also if you are into mixed drinks it looks like they offer a wide selection of cocktails. Out first visit a big disappointment. Had been hoping for a nice restaurant in this spot ever since Crush closed. Very noisy with only medium sized crowd. We ordered selection of 4 hot tapas. Sweet balsamic on both bacon wrapped dates and shrimp didn't work well. They were out of both salmon tapas. Mushrooms stuffed with some light cheese didn't hit mark either. This was unfortunately a great disappointment. It's comfortable inside but in our party of 10 only one meal came out warm... Not hot but warm. Everyone else's meal was cold. We had to send them all back and it took 20 more minutes to get our food back and only the plate was hot. The food was barely warm. The waitress then took our credit cards and never returned. 20 more minutes we had to ask for our cards to be returned. I will NEVER return to this place again. read more

We did paint night at Blend last night and it was so much fun. The waitress Alexis (I think it was) was awesome and brought our drinks as soon as we ordered them. When you ordered at the bar Michael was also prompt with giving you your drink and so nice. The calamari....was amazing. Not over cooked, a little salty, but delicious. Later that night my friend and I had sliders and the meat smelled and tasted like real beef and fresh. The atmosphere was awesome. Bouncers weren't mean and we're actually quite friendly. Food is far too expensive for what it is and for the amount given. There were hardly any people in there and I saw people coming in, then walking right back out again. If this business wants to be successful, they need to look at the competition along School Street. Service lacked too. read more

For a small town Blend is a lot of fun on a Friday or Saturday night. I have been a couple of times and I recieved great service everytime.
