Just came here and ordered a smoothie. The cashier asked what size I wanted. I said 24 ounce but they gave me a 12. I distinctly remember saying 24, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt considering she charged me for the 12. Maybe she just heard me wrong. It's not the type of thing I would complain about, however I just gave her a 100 percent tip. Can you imagine going to a restaurant and tipping your server as soon as you sat down? Tip or no tip, they could have at least said something along the lines of "sorry I misheard you, we can make you the larger smoothie but we have to charge you for it." I would have gladly obliged. Instead the dude went to the register and printed my receipt and said we charged you for a 12 and walked away. They might have been having a terrible day, maybe the two employees hate each other and that's why they both were acting like they didn't want to be there. I don't know. This place has always been good and the service has always been fine. They should figure out a way to calculate the tip after they're done serving you, or get rid of it, it's coercive when they flip the tablet around and then make you choose right in their face, like you're determining their worth, it's weird and uncomfortable. read more

The young lady taking my order today was shockingly rude and dismissive. Could not even look at me yet sounded increasingly annoyed when she had to repeat "ready???" after I had approached to order. There was no one else in the store and I had not been greeted or even looked at. She didn't look at me once and then walked off to make my smoothie.Then another girl came to take my payment. The first girl acted like I had offended her, when I walked up smiling and was polite. When my drink was done she put it on the counter and walked off without saying a thing or alerting me. I usually make my smoothies at home since it's more cost-efficient, but when I'm lazy, you can find me getting a smoothie at Blenders. I've gone back and forth between Jamba Juice, and Blenders the last year and I've come to the conclusion that Blenders is way better than Jamba. It tastes fresher, and there's NO added sugars to any of their drinks. It's all natural, and their staff is so knowledgeable and friendly; it makes the visit so welcoming. I've tried many of their smoothies, but my two favorites would be the: - Red Mango for a health kick. I add the supplement called "total," which has all your essential vitamens and nutrients. The one thing I hate about getting the "total," is that you can taste it a little, but you get used to it. - Peanut Butter is my go-to when I have a sweet tooth. I get it with carob, instead of chocolate and usually get the "spirulina" supplement which is a form of algae and helps with digestion.
