Blessed Morning serves simple food, made with care, with fairly limited options and even more limited space. They only provide outdoor seating and only have six or so small tables set pretty close to one another. Expect to bump chairs with each other and rickety tables. However, the tables appear to be fairly new and nice hardwood. The decor is tasteful ad fresh, especially the vibrant colorful flowers throughout. Unfortunately, this space is set about 20 meters from a busy street, so meals at this restaurant are burdened by loud traffic and high volume of cars driving closeby.
The owners and cooks operate out of a small steel trailer but manage to cook the food with care and deliberance. Our omlets, pancakes, scrambled eggs, and cut fruit were all moist and tender. Fresh ingredients and proper use of heat and seasoning. I found the portion size, especially the fruit, to be rather meager. So don't expect to get a large meal. Blessed Morning is more about quality than quantity. With their modest prices, this is a fair deal and a nice way to start your morning.
One last thing: delicious espresso! This restaurant uses high quality beans and brews espresso properly in nice clean ceramic cups. Treat yourself to a second cup or a cappuccino to go and you won't regret it! read more
