Great little sandwich shop with an asian fusion flair! I had the KBBQ Pork Kimchee bahn mi - the flavors were great, the bread fresh and toasty and the pork was tender and delicious. They sandwiches come in 7 or 11 inches- and the 7 was more than enough for me! It was a little busy, but we orders on line to pick up and it was ready within 10 minutes or ordering. read more

I ran into the place while exploring the neighborhood. And I'm glad I did give it a try. The place is a bit hidden so it might be hard to find for some people . It is next to bar harbor and across from M bar. I got tomato soup and chicken katsu sandwich. The chicken was juicy and the katsu was crispy and piping hot. All the slaw and condiments give it a well balanced flavors. I don't usually like tomato soup but the tomato soup here is beyond amazing. FYI. Plain means they put who knows what all over the bun and let it soak in until the bun is soggy. I threw it away as I didn't want to wait for another one. I very specifically wrote on my order what I wanted, explaining what "plain" meant. The Acai bowl from across the street was amazing, lunch just cost me double. read more

I love at Bleuwiches there are vegan sandwich options that don't make you feel like you've been cheated! I've had the Vegan Bahn Mi and the Pure Veggie Sandwich multiple times. The combo of the veggies, fresh and pickled, a serious amount of avocado really make it a first rate sandwich. The bread options are delicious and it is so nice to go somewhere and have an option for condiments that are more than just mustard (granted I love mustard). Every time I unwrap my sandwich, I think there's no way I can finish this, but they are so delicious I can't stop! I always order online and pick up, it can get busy around lunch time. read more

The bread is super fresh and tasty for both sandwiches. I really liked that they used fresh baguettes and toasted them for most sandwiches. My partner got the bahn mi and really liked it. His only critique is that it was a bit messy to eat with all the sauce, but he really enjoyed it. For me, the tomato bisque was good, but the grilled cheese was better. Perhaps a bit too much wrapping on the sandwiches though? There was so much paper on my grilled cheese that I found paper in the sandwich stuck in the cheese where it was sliced. Overall though really good fresh sandwiches with lots of options for dietary needs like vegetarian, etc. The workers were super friendly and gave us some free kimchi fried rice to try too! Not quite 4 stars. Came to grab a couple of sandwiches for a day trip to Olympic National Park. Saw the high ratings so decided to give it a try. Chose this over Subway for a quick meal. Ended up not being very quick, given only one other person ordered ahead of us. I think we waited a good 15-20 mins before we got our order. Both sandwiches ordered were not made as ordered. Paid extra $2 for a French baguette and had to remind the server after seeing them use sandwich bread. Menu also did not state arugula was in the sandwich, so had to pick that out. The other sandwich that I ordered with jalapeños, ended up without them. $28+ for 2 fairly small sandwiches that were just ok, I'm a bit disappointed. read more

Finally a good sandwich place in SLU! They actually got my order wrong but I wasn't even mad because what I got (chicken club) was amazing. Never would have ordered it just perusing the menu so it was a happy accident. The sandwich was flavorful, had good textures, crispy but light bread, and delightful sauce. Came here for lunch (12pm) on a Thursday and they were busy! You have to order via touchscreen. The machine said they accept cash, but I don't know where you would input it or hand it over to pay. The two guys making the sandwiches worked like a well oiled machine so that was neat to watch. I ordered a turkey avacado without pickled onions and didn't read the description fully and got coleslaw on it too. Had to pick it off since I didn't like the taste. He was super attentive and kind to us. He even gave us tomato soup on the house! It was the best tomato soup we've ever had. We ordered the chicken club and turkey sandwich. My husband and I split our sandwiches so we could try both. Both were so delicious! The chicken club was juicy and had a little kick because of the peppers and the turkey had a tangy taste because of the slaw. Both sandwiches had their own uniqu flavors. The wait times continue to get worse and worse, and have become a running joke in the office. Even ordering ahead - for a cup of soup and Caesar salad for pickup - I waited in the restaurant for 20 minutes once i arrived. Insane creativity and variety if you want (today I had the kimchi and jalapeño grilled cheese with both tomato soup and ginger chicken noodle soup, plus a killer chocolate chip cookie!), but also elevates the simple classics on days where you're feeling a little less adventurous. I've talked with the owner a couple of times now, big time hustler that also owns and runs Mikan Sushi who always has his boots on the ground and is working along side his staff - strikes me as an awesome leader to be around. TLDR: place has good food and good to grab a quick lunch. I had a good experience here. The food was good and hot. It took a bit for the food to get ready but I'm fine to wait for good food. There wasn't much service but that's not really their fault. They have an IPad where order and then my order is called out at the end of the store. The place had good ambience since it's a place with multiple stores in the building. The kimchi paneer sandwich, *when they get the order right*, is great. But they mess up the order about half the time when placed online. For instance, I ordered the same sandwich yesterday but ended up getting some tofu sandwich with avocado (the paneer sandwich doesn't come with avo). Another time, they got the order right but it was missing caramelized onions, so the delicious combination of tangy kimchi and sweet onions was lost and the kimchi overpowered everything. read more

Definitely get the korean bulgogi banh mi! The meat was so juicy with the pickled veggies and the banh mi was so well-toasted! My boyfriend and I also got the lunch menu and the leftover sandwich was sweet and very flavorful from the jam! Everything was delicious! First, the sandwiches were good, could have been a little more meat on them, but still good. My friend and I like to go around town and try sandwich spots. We went all the way to Westlake to try Bleuwiches. Ordered the combo meal on the screen. No direction on where to pick up the sandwiches and no one behind the counter, just the cooks. Went to find a beer and wait for sandwiches, checked back several times and no one was available to say where to pick up, not even a sign. Finally a person that didn't work there said he thought maybe they would be at the register, he also identified the owner who was busy on the phone and turned his back away from me (must have been an important call). FINALLY found my bag and went back to our beers. Then discovered we didn't have chips or drink, still no one to ask. The assumed owner was behind a different counter and offered no help, busy talking to employees. Cook motioned to chips but no direction on how to get our drinks. I'm sure it's hectic running two food counters, but seems like a customer in the space could get a morsel of attention. It wasn't busy. Bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. read more
