The sandwichs have changed a little with the ownership changes over the years although the core sandwich menu have more or less stayed the same. The last time i went they had a thanksgiving leftovers sandwich complete with turkey, cranberry sauce, and greens. Really enjoyed that. I've been wanting to go here for a while, but I was living far away for the past 6 years. I heard it closed down due to poor management and reopened. Finally moved back and got to try it. I've had my eyes on the Fast Eddie ever since I heard about this place because it was one of the most recommended sandwiches. The ambiance was alright. Pretty dark imo but maybe because it was just after Christmas and they had their holiday decor up. Also the bar area was closed. I was a bit confused on where to order until I realized there were kiosks by the front counter. It would've been nice if one of the workers actually had said something to me. Anyway, onto the food. I got the Fast Eddie with fries and it was alright. The meat was bit dry. Yes there was the au jus to dip in and it helped quite a bit, but all the flavors just didn't mesh. It was basically an ordinary french dip. The fries were okay, but the jalapeno aioli was great! That made everything better, but not enough to save the sandwich. Ordered from Uber Eats - grilled cheese w/ tomato soup, gobbler, mozz sticks, and choc chip cookie. Delivery came really fast, so I think everything was pretty fresh. Mozz sticks were crispy on the outside but not cooked inside. Gobbler was ok, but kind of bland compared to Wawa (IYKYK) and I can't believe I'm saying this, but even compared to Subway's version. There was a several-inch long hair literally baked into the cookie that was sticking right out of it as soon as I pulled it out of the sleeve. The staff were really friendly and quick to deliver our food and drinks! The sandwiches are huge and definitely can be shared between two people. The menu is vast distinguishing from hot and cold sandwiches, with vegetarian options available as well. We shared the Waverider, which was absolutely delicious. You can customize it with different sauces or adding extra (protein, sauces, etc); we just had it the way it was made. The meats and veggies that came with this sandwich were really well balanced, and the bread had a good crunch to it while being fairly soft on the inside. You can either order at the touch screens towards the bar, or use the QR codes on the tables. I had The Gooch (roast beef dip) and an order of fries. The fries and garlic aoli was the highlight. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the aoli was creamy and garlicky. The sandwich was kind of a miss for me. The meat was not as tender as I'd expect, and a little on the flavorless side. The au jus totally made up for it, but the au jus was really necessary. Overall I left feeling fairly satisfied, and with a to-go bag with enough food for another meal. Total with tip was $30, and honestly it felt like enough food for two people for me. I made a BYO toasted sandwich with grilled chicken as my protein. The baguette was fresh and soft. The grilled chicken was super juicy and had a charred flavor to it. The garlic aioli and pesto sauces added delicious flavors without being too overpowering or salty. Definitely recommend getting Mama Lil's Hot Peppers as a topping!!! I'm a huge sandwich guy, but my wife not so much. So, when my wife recommended a good sandwich after a long day touristing around Seattle, we came across this joint. Love the vibe here.. super hole in the wall/divey feel. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the impersonal ordering setup. I have enough screens in my life and relish personal interaction. Plus, it's a little overwhelming having to make so many decisions with lines behind you.... It also happened to be REALLY HOT in there. Like. Stifling. So, that wasn't pleasant. Overall, though, sandwiches came out quickly and were good. The fries were fantastic and my favorite part of the meal. However, I thought the sandwiches were a little small for the cost. But, as someone from Texas, it was tough in general getting used to increase living costs up there. My wife was tickled by their shirts...we left with one. After reading so many five star reviews of the Honey Hole we were looking forward to eating here unfortunately we were nowhere near being impressed. Can't talk about service as we ordered take out, so let's get into the food. We ordered The Bandit which according to the menu, it is composed of tender smoked beef brisket, classic barbecue sauce, coleslaw, and melted cheddar. The picture of our sandwich was purposely flipped around as the other side was burnt black, almost zero coleslaw could be found, but there was a slight taste of it and the same with the cheese. Pulled pork, is my go to choice at any sandwich joint or restaurant that has it on their menu this Bandit by far was nowhere near being a good tasting sandwich. The simple french fries was the star of our order and that is a sad thing to say. We would not revisit, especially with so many food eateries in the area, albeit as this restaurant is across the street from our Airbnb. We would not recommend this restaurant. read more

This place is fairly fast casual as you just scan the QR code to order and they will deliver the food to you and you get your own water, utensils, and napkins. Afterwards, you bus your own table. I got the Fast Eddie as it's one of the more popular options and I'm fairly picky when it comes to sandwiches since I've had my fair share of cold cut sandwiches, for example, when I was younger. The Fast Eddie is a hot sandwich with tri tip beef, pepper jack cheese, onions, garlic aioli, and peppers. It was not spicy but it is fairly flavorful and hearty. The bread is also lightly toasted and flavorful. Portions are good but they skimp on the meat, so value could be better. Overall, this is a solid place for a quick meal and good for takeout, but it could be better. read more

It was difficult to finish the sandwich with the rate at which I got taste fatigue. I also found the bread tough and difficult to chew.
