The server told me to pay it separately at the counter. I was explained that to the ladies at the check out and asking them to hold it for me. A manager over heard me and jumped right into action! My husband had the fish and chips. He was very happy with his meal. I had the Italian sub and onion straws. The sub had so much vinegar that's all I could taste. And who puts pickled carrots and cauliflower on a sub? The onion straws came out in a hot bowl but they were cold. Only came here to meet a local family member for dinner/drinks. They had dinner we had dessert and sit and listened to the band. Looks like a cool place with great service. Outside sand volleyball , inside is a little loud as you can imagine and even more if the band is playing. We got moved outside and our waiter couldn't have been more gracious and professional. Food was hot and fresh. The presentation wasn't the greatest but the flavor and portions compensated for that. Pricing on the beers are about average and the selection is ok. However they do have a lot of bourbon options. The Philly cheesesteaks are mediocre compared to real Philly cheesesteaks plus they're small. The Cole slaw portion is as well. The Boursin chicken sandwich was good flavor but the bacon wasn't the greatest flavor. They were big cuts of bacon but tasted bland. The broccoli however was on point they were delicious. The loaded fries were really good as well. The atmosphere reminds me of a hipster bar but overall it was a good experience. read more

We've been wanting to come here for a very long time but always forgot to try it out on our date nights. But not this time! Lol. We got there around 5 on a Sunday evening and needless to say they were already jumping. Lots of customers in already but we didn't have to wait for a table. The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant is really cool but it is insanely dark in there! Maybe it's just me getting old, but I was kinda blindsided, (No pun intended), by how dark it was. All of that aside...the server greeted us quickly and had our drinks out in no time. You could tell she was busy but at the same time she kept a smile on her face while talking to us and got what we needed quickly when we asked. It looked as if the whole team worked well together as our food was delivered by other folks, which is nice to see. The place has plenty of TV's for sports viewing and a very nice bar area. They had it all decked out in Mardi Gras beads! I know they also have an outside area which we of course didn't get to see because it's February but I'm sure it's nice too. The food was nice and hot when it arrived to our table and it didn't take long to get it. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich and my wife had the Boursin Chicken sandwich. They were both good but they didn't blow us away. The fries are awesome however! The restaurant was nice enough for us to return for sure and we will try some different menu items. Maybe the chicken sandwiches aren't the main attraction. This place is massive with a live band, music, MANY volleyball courts, and plenty plenty plenty patio/outdoor seating! This place can get pretty busy, but the bar is big with many servers. The Buffalo Chicken dip is BOMB you can't go wrong with it! The Twister Fries are a great side to get. So this has become our go to for offsite work lunches. They have a varied menu with a number of choices for just about any appetite. Typically I will opt for something off the salad menu, all of which are fairly large and filling especially with the option to add chicken to it. The burgers are good and tasty, and I enjoy the fried fish at times as well. Depending on the day and time you go it can be a little hectic and loud. Plenty of TVs to distract you and the atmosphere is very casual, so you can relax while you wait. Over all the staff is usually very friendly and knows the menu well. They are often very attentive and prompt in taking care of the table. Again, it can get a little hectic in there and as a result, service may suffer. Overall, this is a dependable and reliable lunch option for our group and we often go back. read more

My mom and I came here for lunch after a day of shopping. She has been many times before and always enjoyed it, especially in the warmer months as they have outdoor seating and live music. Our service was prompt and friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our food. I had the truffle burger it was so, so good! The patty was thick and cooked a perfect med-rare. We've never had a bad meal at blind squirrel and their to go food is just as good. We've enjoyed the beer cheese and pretzels and the Buffalo chicken dip. The servings are generous too. I was really disappointed with this place. I heard good remarks from friends and the reviews were good. I was out today and really wanted pizza so I decided to go by and order. They won't take phone orders so you have to go on line to their web site which I did. I like a fairly simple pizza so I ordered the 14 inch thin crust with cheese, bacon and jalapeños. Sort of more pricey than what I'm used to at other pizza places. Then when I picked up the pizza I was shocked at the amount of grease on and at the bottom of the box. The cardboard was actually soaked with grease. So I will give it a 3 star for the ingredients, which were good, but a 2 star for the loads of grease. It was a complete turnoff. All the other food there is probably good, but they have a long way to go on the pizzas before I would go back and order again. read more

Was in the area and did a post business lunch here, loved the food and how our larger group was treated. We had a group of about 8 and had more than a few dietary restrictions, our waitress was helpful in suggesting things to fit everyone's needs. She kept our drinks full and the food came fast. During the middle of the week at lunch it isn't as busy so it was nice that we were all able to talk to each other without having to yell over any noise. We LOVE this place. But they stopped allowing dogs on the deck so we go about half as much. But I've taken friend from out of town here about six times. They always come through. I told one waitress I thought she was stalking us but she gave us fantastic service. The food is fun...and very good. I've eaten at least half the menu. Not a bad meal yet. The ambiance is not a staid world. It is fun with lots of TV's and great beer on tap plus everyone is friendly. Even the diners. Their deck is fantastic. It would be better with dogs but I understand insurance gets cray-cray. Basically this is my favorite place in Louisville plus two or three other places. Have fun. See you there.
