The food is just mediocre its not great but its not aweful great bar food is what it is....pizza is yummy.

Was in the area and did a post business lunch here, loved the food and how our larger group was treated. We had a group of about 8 and had more than a few dietary restrictions, our waitress was helpful in suggesting things to fit everyone's needs. She kept our drinks full and the food came fast. During the middle of the week at lunch it isn't as busy so it was nice that we were all able to talk to each other without having to yell over any noise. Blind squirrel was out first dine in experience in months after Covid. They have a huge outdoor area with a covered patio for a rainy evening to catch up with friends. The patio is great, there was a live band on a Thursday evening! Like many other reviewers the atmosphere is 5 starts. The food it's good but you probably come here for the drinks and atmosphere. We LOVE this place. But they stopped allowing dogs on the deck so we go about half as much. But I've taken friend from out of town here about six times. They always come through. I told one waitress I thought she was stalking us but she gave us fantastic service. The food is fun...and very good. I've eaten at least half the menu. Not a bad meal yet. The ambiance is not a staid world. It is fun with lots of TV's and great beer on tap plus everyone is friendly. Even the diners. Their deck is fantastic. It would be better with dogs but I understand insurance gets cray-cray. Basically this is my favorite place in Louisville plus two or three other places. Have fun. See you there. This place is a great venue for pub food with a wide open concept with band entertainment later in the evening. I would like to try their outside eating area sometime but they fill up quick on nice days. The mountain nachos are ridiculously enormous. We order it for our family of 4 and probably don't need to order anything else. Just check the photos and you'll see snow caps on top due to their size. They have an indoor and outdoor sitting area as well as bar seating. I have tried this place a couple times and am not a fan of the food. It is a good place to go get a drink with friends and play volleyball or listen to music. The last time I went I got fish tacos which were cold and they blamed it on the toppings. I sent them back and got fries and a side salad since everyone at the table was already eating. Super-duper fun, tons of good looking people and a stage with live music! I was shocked when I arrived, as the parking lot was totally full, and it's quite large. I circled about until I got lucky and walked in to a huge throw down. I have not been to a happening club since pre-covid and it was so much fun! It was so energizing to hear live music, dance and drink cocktails. I ran into tons of people I know and met a few new friends. I noticed that the owners were leaving a lot of money on the table due to long drink lines. Perhaps add two more bartenders to the other side of the bar? The drinks were flowing but there was high demand. The place was very clean and cute, with both an indoor and outdoor space. I stayed until midnight and things were still going strong! We have been here a couple of times for the atmosphere because they have an amazing patio and to grab a couple of beers. We tried the food this time and had the egg rolls for an appetizer and they were delicious. I had the Boursin chicken sandwich and subbed the pretzel bun for the ciabatta bread and although simple, the dressing makes it so good. My boyfriend got a philly, he loved the sandwich, but his fries came out stale. The waitress happily got him another plate of fresh fries. So my family and I were staying in Clarksville, IN & needed a good place to grab dinner. After doing some research, we decided to come here - so glad we did. There's tons of parking and we found a spot in the back (it was quite busy for a weekday night). It was such a big place with lots of outdoor things going on (volleyball was happening that night). We came in through the back and walked over to the hostess stand. The hostesses were so friendly and quickly sat us (we chose inside). Sandy was our server and she was SOOO nice! She made our experience here awesome! She was incredibly friendly, suggested great dishes, and was attentive to our needs throughout our experience. We ordered the pretzel rods and dry rubbed wings for appetizers. Sorry everyone, I was elbows deep and forgot to take pictures. The wings were SO good. A great sized wing with excellent flavor. The apps came out so quick as well as the kids' meals. My husband and I split the veggie pizza and it was good! It reminded us of an elevated Pizza Hut pizza. My only complaint would be that the veggies weren't sautéed enough so they were a bit crunchy. The veggie pizza also came out super quick. Overall, the service and food were excellent. The bar did take a bit of time but they were fairly busy. The food came out fast. The prices weren't bad. Definitely recommend. read more

Place was PACKED at 7pm on a Saturday, but luckily we got a high top table. Service was impeccable considering the size of the crowd. We ordered jalapeño poppers, and they were perfect. Crisp breading, loaded with cheddar cheese & diced jalapeño, and arrived quick & hot. We also had the hot brown with fried brussel sprouts & the fried fish sandwich with onion rings; both meals were great, no complaints. The fish was large, flaky, and nicely breaded. Onion rings were big and crisp, the brussel sprouts were fantastic, and the hot brown was nicely done - loved the creaminess of the mornay and the thick cut of the turkey slices. Aside from the food, we also had several bourbons & bottled beers. Total for two dinners, the appetizer, three beers, and three double pours of Four Roses was $67 - $80 after tip. Okay guys.....so Blind Squirrel is pretty dang awesome. I heard about it from a few coworkers but have never seen it around the area until pulling it up on Apple Maps. For a large sports bar with outdoor activities, it is in such an odd spot. It's located down North English Station hidden by a bunch of industrial businesses and warehouses. But it's just a quick drive from my office and has a very nice building. I was actually surprised at how big it is on the inside...it looks average when you first see it, but once you walk in you're like, woah. They've got a stage, an awesome outdoor patio that is connected to the bar, and a sand volleyball area. Their menu is a variety of your typical American options with some unique twists. I ordered the pimento burger with twisted fries and was really pleased with it. Also...can we talk about how every sports bar in Middletown serves twisted fries?? Just an interesting note.... I think theirs ended up being my favorite though, with whatever seasoning is sprinkled on top of it. They have posters of all kinds of events that go on, like a costume contest, and I assume they have some sort of live performances with that stage they have. The main reason I came here was for the street corn which was in the website. But was told they don't have it anymore. On the menu it's says curly fries which my kiddos were excited for. But when the food came out not curly fries also I received the same amount of fries my kids, kids meal had. And it's wants cause they got a lot. I got the BBQ burger which was good. But the brisket was dry and had to ask for extra BBQ sauce. So I wouldn't make a special trip to go there. read more
