My daughter's design was pretty complicated, but the nail artist did a perfect job. She's truly talented! The place is super clean, which gave me a lot of trust and peace of mind--they clearly care about every detail. The customer service was amazing! Everyone was so kind and really took the time to understand what we wanted. Payment was also very convenient--they accept cards, cash, Zelle, and Venmo, which made everything easy. The salon also has Wi-Fi and super clean bathrooms, which is always a bonus and just shows how much they care about their clients' comfort. I've been coming here for a little over a year now, and I can't imagine going anywhere else to get my biweekly mani and wax. Jenny, Vicki, Jen and all the other women here are so incredibly welcoming, warm, and hardworking, and they always do a (consistently) great and clean job with my gel manicure and eyebrow and upper lip wax! I've had each women here for some of my services, but Vicki usually does my gel nails and Jen for my eyebrows, and they're great. They're also very transparent about what's going on with my nails, and how I can improve them each time (I've almost stopped tearing off my gel nails before my visits. Almost!) Arghhhh I broke my nail =( I noticed the broken nail when I was in Orange County drinking my sugar cane juice. What to do? Find the nearest best nail salon. Yelped to see if there was any good nail salon around the area and found this nail salon. The lady was super friendly and nice but I didn't like how she did my nail. It was crooked and not evenly coated. My regular nail lady would fix it perfectly. My nail was broken few days after going to this place. When I got my nail done she just said ok thank you then moved to the next customer. She left me sitting at the spa pedicure thing. Maybe they didn't have any place to dry my nails. This review is mainly for PEDICURES! My gf and I came to OC for a mini vacation and we were looking for a place to do our pedi and acrylic nails. So we decided to come here to try out the pedicure because we were unsure about how the nails were going to be. The lady that I had was very nice. She's one of the older lady out of all but she was really GOOD! She made sure my toes were nice and clean and was very experience with cutting my cuticles. I starting getting my nails done here a few years back.... They did a decent job and it was close to the house. I stopped getting my nails done here as I found a better place but still kept coming here for my eyebrows waxing. Even though I moved, I still made it a point to continue coming here. Just recently, Jenny pressured me to get extensions (she had pressured me before but I had just blown her off). But since I already had extensions she said that the current ones I had were not good and that she can "fix" them and do a better job. I caved and said ok.. Why?? I don't know!! She charged me to remove (which I found out that most places will do it for free). After about almost 3 hours (this should only take 1hr) she was done...but I was NOT happy. She said to let it "settle" . I paid ($170) and I left. During the week, they got worst..not only did it look "caked on" and like "spiderwebs"... they started to irritate and most of them fell off!! I looked horrible. I called Jenny a few times to tell her I wasn't happy and she said she would "re-do" them for free! Why would I want her do them again?? I took pics of them as proof and finally got a chance to stop by and had them removed. She blamed everything on me..saying that I wanted "a lot" and that I washed my face with soap(really???). I said that I wanted to be fair and that she should refund half of what I had paid... Not only did they looked like CRAP, they didn't last longer than a week! She said "NO" and that she spend "time" to do it! I was so pissed...NEVER coming back! I was a devoted customer for years and this is the thanks I get??? There's plenty of nail salons out there... I always come here:) No other nail salon I have been to has been as nice as this one. I highly recommend this place. I am 15 and when I come in they know me as a monthly customer and sometimes serve candy for littler kids as well. They have a flat screen tv that plays new or popular movies and it's a beautiful place. I love this place, they care for each customer and make sure that you are satisfied. Highly recommend. Jenny was very nice however she did the usual "try this and upgrade to that" which I guess I should be used to by now but it still bugs me. Jenny did my silk wrap and was very fast... however one of thumb nails had broken so a tip was necessary and when we finished it was way longer than the other hand. Didnt catch it myself until she was done. I asked her to please cut it down so she did, no file.... so she left it rough looking. I had also noticed that a few of my other nails were not nail polished all around so I became frustrated and just left it all alone. After having brunch with a girlfriend at The Omelette House in Garden Grove, we wanted to get our nails done, and Viva Nails was the closest location with the best reviews on Yelp. So we tried it out. It's located in the corner of a seemingly deserted plaza, and the wait was very short for a usual Saturday afternoon. The lady was very welcoming, friendly, and approachable. We picked our nail polish colors, and sat down in our amazing massage chairs. Press the button, sit back, relax, and begin our manicure/pedicure. Typical...the women talking in Vietnamese, and smiling at us in between their conversation. Skeptical, but they still try to make conversation when the can. Hey, as long as I don't know what they're saying right? I'm a happy customer, because in the end we got some really good work done on our nails. They actually took their time, were very good on making it clean and fixing any small mistakes. They check up with you too to make sure it's the way you want it, and it seemed like they really wanted you to be satisfied. It really depends on which lady does your nails, and it seems to change every time I go. But I'm rating this place overall, and considering the opinions of my girlfriends who have gone there. It can be a 3-star or 4-star, and sometimes, but very rarely even a 5-star experience. Overall, though I give it 4-stars for its service, price, cleanliness, and quality. It usually costs us $25 +tip for a manicure and pedicure. The lasting impression? i didn't like this nail salon at first because i thought it was really pricey. manicures and pedicures are a *very* expensive habit and i'm always looking for places that price reasonably. but! after returning here, i have to admit they do a good job at a price. if you are into designs, i recommend coming up with your own design and telling them how you want it. they also have a display of sample designs you can pick from. the youngest chick there always does my nails and she is veryyy detail-oriented and i am veryyy picky so it works out veryyy well. point taken i hope! nail design price is 13$ i think PLUS the manicure price which i forgot the price of. usually when i get my nails (designed) done with regular toes it is 30-something. with tip it usually falls just under 50$. that is with the friggen expensive 5$ topcoat gel thing but if you're a purse-digger like me who ruins nails after getting it done cos you can't find your damn keys.. it's a good idea to get it. it dries and hardens right away and your nails stay nice for 2-3 weeks. they have a TV and they're always playing good movies. beats trying to read gossip magazines with freshly manicured nails. 5 stars for quality of work. 4 stars for price. but they do gotta stay in business.. read more

I used to go here for the short time that i was living in the oc. i got my eyebrows, eyelashes and nails done here. i wish i could remember the lady's name that worked with me, but i think she was the manager. she did a really good job with everything! my eyebrows looked great, eyelashes were pretty and natural and nails lasted longer than most manicures ive gotten. the only con i have is that the eyelashes didnt last as long as i hoped, a little less than 2 weeks, and yes i did take care of them. ive had false lashes before. the normal price for lashes is about $60 but she was kind enough to give it to me for a discounted price because I couldnt really afford it ( iwas orignally gonna go for the $15 "party" lashes). She really does know what looks good for you and does her best to make you look good! staff is friendly too and they dont make you feel like theyre talking about you behind your back read more

My new mani/pedi home (: Here you get a MANI + PEDI (just solid colors.. not french. unsure about the french price) for only...ta-dahhhh $20.00!! Seriously I pay $20.00 at my old salon for just the freaking pedicure.. The service here is also just as good as those pricey places that charge you 2-3 times as much.. Very nice(= Oh and they're always playing a really awesome movie on the big screen..usually one that was just released! I saw taken when I was there. They also encourage you to sit and wait for a while and finish watching the movie to ensure your nails fully dry. It's cheap enough that anyone should just go to try it out... this place rocks.(= ---- I should add.. I got my pedicure TWO weeks ago and both my manicure and pedicure still looks flawless. It's the only nail salon I really go to now. Although I only been to five session of manicures, I'm hooked to this place because they are really great for the price here. For $20 you can get a manicure and pedicure which is really good. I like how they always have a recent movie playing so I'm entertained. They do have OPI polishes but not all of them are. The only thing that still bugs me the massage chair on the pedicure chair doesn't really massage well on the lower back. It more like the repetitive hitting massage which doesn't do anything really to the relaxing. One tip is they might ask you to do a heel feet peel which for me isn't really needed unless you have a super case of dry heels. It's $5 but it $5 I want to save. read more

Two stars because if you just want a mani and pedi they are good (no polish tho haha just straight up clean hands and feet) AND SUPER NICE I just wish I could have had a better experience with my acrylic French tips. When the lady trimmed my nails she did it super fast it was traumatizing... sloooow down lady it's not a race ! She didn't size my nails right so my thumb nails were too big (wide) and the rest of my nails too narrow lmao! She also didn't sand the nails down enough by the cuticles so they started to come off my nails and start snagging things by day 2 . Do not come here if you want your nails to look....NICE! This place sucks! Came here because saw the reviews on Yelp. Went with my girlfriend and her mom. First off they are overpriced (especially for the kind of pedicures they do). We came for the pedicures. My nail technician-My friend and her mom started on their pedis first. I waited about 15 mins before they got to me. And I was done at the same time as my friend!! WTH?! I paid for the same service and yet mine took way faster! The massage (if you can call it that) was just her running her hands up and down my legs. The nail art was atrocious! I asked if she could do a butterfly but when she gave me this puzzled look I quickly asked for a simple flower! She started drawing so many vines that it looked like a spider web! My friend's tech-First complaint that instead of using the callus brush on her heels....she used it to rub her legs up and down! WTH?! My friend's leg turned really red because of the rough brush! Then her nail art was VERY noticeably crooked compared to the other toe. We waited for her to redo it but NOPE! We actually had to comment on how crooked the sucker was! My friend's mom's tech-She said that her lady (older lady in the shop) was so inexperienced it was sad! And when we saw the finished product we agreed! She cut her nails crooked!! She didn't even clean up the polish that was outside of the nail bed and let's just say the nail art looked like a 5yr old did it! So if you don't care about how your nails look then by all means....come here and waste $27!! You can bet that we will never come back!! read more

We found this place through Yelp and went here on a whim since we had some time to kill. I needed a new gel set and my girlfriend went in for a pedicure. Jenny, the owner, was quick to acknowledge our presence and directed us to the right station, but I didn't like how they had me sitting there for 15-20 mins waiting for got knows who. I guess there was some misunderstanding somewhere along the lines but Jenny finally came over and started working on my nails. I was scared for my hands because she was rushing it and I was afraid she was going to cut me...and I was right. She boo boo'd on two of my fingers and I mean, what can I say? Her hands were all cut up too! *Sigh.. Jenny has that spunky personality and I like her as a person, but not as my nail technician. My nails have too many visible air bubbles which just makes it look so sloppy. I don't pamper myself as often as I would like, let a lone going to a Nail/Spa Salon but since it was my sister's wedding and she found this place on Yelp, I decided to try their service. I have never been to a nail and spa salon, with so many friendly ladies. Their English was good enough were I can understand but most of all, they weren't just talking amongst one another like other nail/spa I have been to; they were actually talking to us. They even had the movie, "UP" on which is a definite PLUS in my book. Jenny assisted me with threading and she was absolutely the nicest lady I have met around Westminster/Garden Grove area. She explained to me about threading and provided her background in threading. I felt so comfortable with her that I almost told her my whole life story. She did a good job on threading.
