This is a great Thai to-go spot. You can conveniently order pick-up from their online menu via Clover. Service is pretty fast and my to go orders are always ready for pick-up each time I arrive, and I've been here over a handful of times. I've had their spinach salad, Bangkok fried rice, pad thai, and Khao Soi. No matter what I get, I always get the spinach salad. It's spinach fried in a tempura-ish batter with a side of their sauce the spinach salad comes with. I forgot what it's called, but it's amazing with the spinach salad. It's also good to eat the next day when you throw it in the air fryer. Khao Soi was good, and I would say better than Lotus of Siam. The Khao Soi at Lotus of Siam was really sweet, and I like how the Khao Soi here at Bloc 9 is more savory with just a hint of sweetness. I'm unsure about the drumstick it comes with. The drumstick is tender, but kind of hard to eat with the soup. There's also additional chunks of chicken that the Khao soi comes with. What's also included with the Khao Soi is regular egg noodles and pan fried egg noodles. read more

First time here but I knew that I needed the "Spinach Salad" because I have been to Nittaya's Little Kitchen before so I knew that my friend had to try it!! The service is friendly and quick. You order at the counter, find a seat, and in about 10 minutes your food shows up. It's a bright, yet cozy spot. They were busy but seem like it, if that makes sense. By the time the next wave of cutomers appeared, the one before them were finishing up. This place is great for groups because you can order separately or together, but if you go out with a group of friends you know how messy splitting the check can be, but not here. Still our go to for fast Thai food that is consistently good! This visit did not disappoint. The staff is very nice. We took our number and sat at a table we chose. They came out with water and the dishes we ordered. They asked if we wanted our mango sticky rice held until we were done with our entrees. That was a nice touch since we got the dessert with the rice still warm and steamy. We sat in the middle part of the restaurant so it was a little less crowded and more quiet. There is also outdoor seating in the patio at the back of the restaurant. So glad we live near Block 9! read more

My wife and I were starving after a 20 hour fast and she was craving Thai food. We quickly found this location and ended up ordering pad Thai and the Bangkok fried rice with tofu. The food was beyond excellent and totally satisfied our craving - we were taken back to Thailand! The Nittaya bread pudding was one of the BEST desserts we've had in Vegas and we were quite pleased with it. Second time coming, so a review is definitely needed for this quaint, street-style decorated restaurant. Block 9 is a casual yet elevated spot, and it never disappoints. The food all around is exceptional--packed with flavor and clearly made with care. Service is great, and dishes come out quickly without sacrificing quality or taste. Portions are generous too, which is always a plus! My favorite dish so far is definitely the Thai basil eggplant with tofu. Their curries and noodles are yum as well. Such a great little place for Thai food! It's hidden away at the rear of an office park next to a hotel and school but it's worth the hunt. Food comes out quickly and it's hot and fresh. I love dining at Chef Nittaya's restaurants. Which, I've dined at the other location in Henderson and prefer Henderson over this location. Although the dishes are similar, the service was better in Henderson. The decor also seemed nicer in Henderson. Food: Spinach Salad Pad Thai with Chicken Grilled Pork Skewers 1/2 bottle of red wine The spinach salad is always a hit at all the Nittaya restaurants. The sauce is to die for. So good. The Pad Thai is also a hit. Good flavor and very strong and bold flavors. The Pork Skewers were ok. I wouldn't order it again. Overall, I'd return again. I love this place! Have been going here over the last few years because it is by my office and have tried pretty much everything on their lunch menu. Pro tip - get the dinner version of the basil chicken. It has a friend egg on it and that makes it so pretty! Seriously, most Thai places are 7/10. It's hard to find one that gets higher than that and this one does. The inside is also great. Perfect for a lunch meeting. There's also a really nice patio so you can eat outside in the sun or to just enjoy the outdoors. I will forever be a customer here. Very disappointed. For starters the parking lot is atrocious. No fault of the restaurants but beware it might take a while to find an empty spot. I came in to pick up an order (woman was very nice on the phone) but didn't greet or even acknowledge me for a few minutes once I arrived. Finally said "how can I help you?" And I told her I was picking up. Over me, she noticed a patron and started talking to them. Once finished she looked at me as if waiting for my reply. I said again pickup and she gave me the total, I paid and that was it. Didn't say thank you, offer a receipt or even push my bag to the end of the counter. Just moved on to the people she knew. Ok, I get it.. you're busy, your friends are here but terrible impression. I ordered yellow curry, no meat. And expected extra onion, bell pepper, carrot and/or potato since that's traditional but no... not one potato or bell pepper. But a bunch of broccoli and green beans. Although that was strange the flavor was good.. until I got to a hair intwined in a piece of broccoli. Luckily I only had a few bites before I saw it. My husband found this place on Google while we were searching for dinner options. Decided to try it out since I love drunken noodles and it was close by for pick up. I ordered through their online system and I think it glitched and I submitted my order again. It actually went through twice, I'm not sure why I received 4 order email confirmations though. When my husband arrived they told him and ended up voiding the duplicate which I appreciated without having to find out later and ask for a refund. When my husband got home and I opened the bag, there were no utensils and napkins! We were a little upset, but not the end of the world. He ordered a beef salad and I got the drunken noodles of course. Portion was not bad for my entree, it could have used more noodles than egg ratio. I felt like it was mostly egg and a little disappointed. Drunken usually has a bit of spice, but majority of my noodles didn't taste spicy at all. I think I had one bite with a little kick. When I ordered, it also didn't ask for a spice level. It had one small wedge of a tomato and maybe 1-2 gai lan type veggie/basil. My husband's salad had a fair amount of beef, but not a lot of lettuce, he actually added our spring mix to his meal from home. Overall I'd give 3.5 stars so I rounded to 4 stars. I do find myself coming here every so often and I'm never really disappointed, so it's safe to say that I'll continue coming here. One thing though that is consistent is their food quality which I really enjoy however, their service has been consistently OK. I tend to show up during their Monday through Friday lunch specials as you can get an entrée and a side for just 13 bucks. It's definitely worth it and it's enough food to get full. All of their dishes that I've tried. I have been incredibly flavorful and taste amazing. Their pricing is pretty decent for what you get, but if you are interested in trying multiple things, I do recommend popping in during their lunch specials. They do have seating inside, which is enough, and I believe they also have seating outside as well. I really like their pad see ew as it's not dry and there is a good mixture of beef and vegetable. Most importantly, this place is clean and they have a good variety of Thai dishes. Their spinach salad is really good but can get pretty heavy as it's deep fried, but the dressing is phenomenal. The placement of this restaurant with the greenery surrounding it makes it feel like you've found a hidden gem, The spacious seating arrangement, the decoration, and the welcoming friendly faces is what you go into upon entering. We got the drunken noodles, Thai tea, and green curry. All fantastic, the only critique was I wish the curry was a little creamier and had more flavor. Other than that, I enjoyed fresh veggies inside of it. But the amount of food for the price- WOW we ordered 2 entrees and an appetizer that could've easily fed 3-4 hungry mouths. I'm a big fan of Drunken Noodles but the ones here were quite pedestrian. There was no option to change the spice, and it came with very little flavor beyond soy sauce. Interestingly, it came with a bag of soy sauce and chili sauce on the side, which didn't seem too authentic to me. The portion was on the smaller side but I did get the lunch special, which comes with a smaller entree portion size and wontons which I didn't care too much for. Their location was odd. The restaurant is tucked away in the back of a small commercial lot, yet they had a steady stream of customers throughout the lunch hour. Clearly this restaurant has its fans, so maybe my taste preferences just aren't aligned with Nittaya's, as I wasn't a big fan of her Secret Kitchen either. read more

The food quality here is pretty good, and stays consistent overall from the three times I have visited for a quick lunch break. All of them have been quite good, and you can tell they take pride in the quality of the ingredients that go into each dish. I wish their spice level was a bit more elevated, but that may be a subjective opinion. The restaurant is set up like a grab and go spot, so you order at the counter and they give you a number to go sit with at a table of your choice. They bring the food over to you and the soda/ice/tea machine/canister is around the corner adjacent to their door leading to the outdoor patio seating.
