Spicy basil fried rice with chicken - spice level 3
    Pauline R.

I LOVE Thai food and have been looking for a good, local spot for the better part of a year. I am thrilled I stumbled upon Aroy Thai Kitchen! This is for sure a hidden gem in the Spring Valley area. It is in a nice, quiet part of town and is very convenient. The inside is small, well decorated, inviting, calming and serene. The woman at the register was friendly and patient and gave me time to look over the menu. I ultimately decided on take out and ordered their spicy basil fried rice with chicken, level 3 spicy. Simply put - it was perfect! Perfect amount of peppers and chillis giving it just the right amount of heat, generous amount of rice and chicken and overall the flavors were spot on. This meal left nothing to be desired. I will for sure be coming back for more of this delicious rice and to try more of their menu items.

Absolutely delicious food with exceptional service! We always order from this restaurant through UberEats, but we decided to dine-in to try out their lunch specials. As you walk-in, this bistro offers a mix of modern and traditional Thai flair. We were greeted immediately by our server, who let us choose what table we wanted to sit at. Since we've been eating here for a while, we knew exactly what we were going to order. We got our favorite dishes which are the Spicy Basil and Pad Thai with a Spice level of 3. The lunch special came with their soup of the day which was a savory, chicken flavored broth that had cabbage, carrots and onion. Our meal also included an egg-roll and side salad which for the price is a really nice addition. Both of our dishes were cooked to perfection, seasoned properly and the added condiments gave our meals that extra bit of tang and spice that we love. Our server was so kind and friendly which made our experience even better. It was a bit busy, but she made sure to consistently refill our drinks. She kept checking to make sure everyone's food came out in a timely manner. And she cleared all of our empty dishes making sure that our table was nice and tidy. We'll always show our love and support for this local eatery. It's by far one of our favorite Thai spots in town.

I was craving authentic Thai food that isn't too crowded or too pricey. After trying out a couple places that was too crowded we ended up with Aroy Thai which is a mom & pops place. Small but clean and well decorated. The nice waitress greeted us right away and guided us to our table and proceeded to take our drinks orders and brought us our menu. We ordered chicken curry, pad woon sein which is a stirfry glass noodles dish with optional proteins, Pad thai noodles with tofu and green Thai tea. Green thai tea is a must try if you haven't yet. It's creamy, refreshing, sweet and delicious!! Prices are moderate and the portion is generous. Parking is plenty and free. Music was low and just perfect for the ambience. Thank you Aroy Thai! I will be back again

I didn't sit down in the resturant to eat this time but I ordered off uber eats. They packaged it up nicely and put the foil so that it stays warm during the delivery. Pad see ew 7.5/10: pretty good but a bit too salty for me. I usually prefer more flavorful foods but this time it was a bit too much of the seasoning. The beef that came with it was tender and the veggies helped balance out the saltiness a bit. The portion was large enough for me to split it into two meals which was nice! If I was around the area I would consider trying their other dishes in the resturant!

We wanted to try a new Thai restaurant near our friend's house and we found Aroy Thai Kitchen which is located in a private parking lot. Perfect free parking! We walked inside and were welcomed and got seated right away. It is a refreshing and cozy place and we ordered dishes to share! Pad see ew, ginger fish, woon sen, and coconut mushroom soup! All were delish and I ordered a Thai iced tea to jumpstart my afternoon and it was refreshing! Now we have a go to spot whenever we are in town!

It has been a while since I got Thai food. I decided to go around 2 PM to have the lunch special. I had never heard of this restaurant until it popped up on my Yelp feed one day. It's a small restaurant, and as it turned out, I was the only customer there. I ordered the green curry with chicken. With the lunch special, there's a cup of soup, and the main dish has a small salad, rice, and egg roll. The soup had a good broth and was a tastyy starter. I ordered the curry spice level at 4 on a 1 to 5 scale. I could have gotten 5, but that would have been too much heat to properly enjoy. The curry was flavorful and the spiciness was almost spicy enough. At $11.99 for the lunch special, the price is very good. The woman serving me was very pleasant. Now that I know of this place, I'll be back in the evening when I want something not on the small lunch menu specials..

Aroy Thai may not be a large restaurant, but it is clean and beautifully decorated. The female staff greeted us with big smiles, and I had the chance to practice some basic Thai with her. Ordering was a breeze, especially since she asked how spicy we wanted our food. Water was served promptly and quickly refilled when our glasses were empty, which was nice. The service was excellent! Now, let's talk about the food. The ginger fish and papaya salad were just okay. The tom kha soup was bland and had few ingredients, and the shrimp coconut dish contained only small pieces of dry, flavorless shrimp. Having lived in Thailand for over ten years and visited many Thai restaurants in Las Vegas, I expected Aroy Thai to deliver authentic and delicious food like others I've tried. Perhaps I just visited on an off day, but I don't think I'd return to this restaurant again.

This is our Thai spot! The Consistency of quality & taste. I've eaten in a few times when there's no one there but usually do take out. I get the same items ginger fish (2orders, 2nd for lunch next day), curry, Tom yum soup with tofu, pad see yew with fried tofu & veggies. This feeds 2.5ppl with full meal leftovers for next day with my extra ginger fish order. Customer service is always good here, dine in or pick up. The restaurant is clean inside and out and also clean restrooms. Lots of parking in front. I definitely recommend Aroy Thai!

We went here for lunch, and I really like how close it is to home. It'll be even closer once Peace Way connects to Fort Apache, which I'm super excited about. The place is clean and well-kept, and the service was friendly, though a bit slow at times, even though we were the only table there. We ordered the papaya salad, beef satay appetizer, and the lunch special chicken panang. I love that they offer lunch specials every day. The papaya salad was a big portion and super refreshing! The beef satay was really tender and had great flavor, and the peanut sauce was a nice addition. The panang curry was creamy and delicious, and the soup and salad that came with it were tasty too. I also got an iced coffee, which was good. Highly recommend for a cheap eats.

Okay Thai food in Vegas. We ordered here to go and were satisfied but probably won't come back. We ordered the spicy basil with beef, chicken pad Thai, and Spicy Eggplant. All dishes were good but not great. Spice levels seemed inconsistent and tended to be less spicy than desired. The restaurant looked lovely but nobody was inside.

Is there any entree that is gluten free here? (check soy sauce, fish sauce, seasoned rice vinegar for wheat, barley, rye & triticale. Rice noodles not cooked in shared water with wheat noodles.) I have Celiac disease & must eat gluten free.

    Sorry...but I have no idea.

Everything we had though tasted good and I like that you can customize the spice level. The short rib fried rice is their thing they are the most popular for and I can see why, it was good. The biggest negative on the food was the steamed sticky rice. It was dry and hard and really difficult to eat.

The prawns arrive perfectly crisp with a generous coating of golden garlic and herbs. Each bite has that satisfying crunch before giving way to tender shrimp. 2) Mango Crispy Catfish - A beautiful contrast of textures. The crispy catfish is topped with bright slices of mango and finished with a chili-lime dressing that ties everything together. The dish is vibrant, colorful, and bursting with flavors. 3) Crab Fried Rice - The rice comes generously packed with large pieces of crab and works perfectly alongside the other dishes. The Mango Sticky Rice is beautifully plated, and the Egg Yolk Ice Cream is a unique treat that's rich and creamy without being overly sweet--the perfect way to end the meal. The wine list is surprisingly impressive for a Thai restaurant. We usually pair our meal with Orin Swift Blank Stare Sauvignon Blanc, which complements the dishes wonderfully.
