The cooks here know how to cook! The food seems authentic and is made with quality ingredients. I've tried almost all of the curries at this place and they've all been great, especially red, green, and yellow curries. They aren't loaded with oil and really don't have noticeable oil, must be using curry paste without oil and cooking it with coconut milk. There's a good amount of vegetables and meat/tofu and the meats are tender. The curries all taste like the curry they should taste like and have the unique flavors specific to that curry (in contrast to many Thai places where they just taste vaguely sweet). The coconut milk seems high-quality and not too thin, not too thick. Just very solid standard gaeng/Thai curry. The salad dressing on the grilled beef salad is amazing. Lots of lime juice and perfectly balanced flavors, so good that we asked for a to-go box to take it home. The spring rolls are great, very finely-cut vegetables in them, very nicely wrapped, very nicely flavored dipping sauce. You can tell they take pride in the food here, even small things like spring rolls are just done perfectly. The tom kha soup in large size is huge and we had to take home half even with two people eating it. The sweet-sour-galangal flavors are very well balanced. Had some high-quality galangal in it. Lots of tender chicken. The tom yum soup is the best I've had in Vegas, with perfectly-balanced flavors, tons of kaffir lime leaf, lemongrass, mushrooms, chicken, galangal, a great broth, and what looked like spring onions or something for a nice touch. These people know how to cook and it really comes together well. The cooks have been accommodating to our requests not to add oil to the dishes. They cook the stir-fry dishes with soybean oil, they said, but pad thai can be made without oil if I understood correctly. I'm very sensitive to seed oils and have been fine with the curries, spring rolls, salads, and tom kha and tom yum (requesting no oil, they had to leave the chili oil off the tom kha and tom yum soups) -- these can be made with no or very low seed oils. I feel like there aren't as many people in the restaurant as there should be for how good and affordable it is. The prices are a bit more affordable than other Thai places and it enables us to try more dishes. They play interesting popular music. The rice is quality! I do judge Thai places based on their rice. They always seem happy to serve customers and want you to return. Great service with refilling water, helping with any issues, etc. I want to slowly try everything here that can be made seed oil-free. I have a chronic illness and my body is very sensitive to preservatives, chemicals, additives, and poor-quality food and I do pretty great with the food from this restaurant. Hands down the best Pad Thai in town! I've tried quite a few places, and this one is by far my favorite. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the sauce had the ideal balance of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors, and every bite tasted fresh and authentic. We also had basil stir fry which was delicious. The portion size was generous, and everything was cooked to perfection. The location is another huge plus--it's close to my work, making it the perfect spot for lunch. Absolutely delicious food with exceptional service! We always order from this restaurant through UberEats, but we decided to dine-in to try out their lunch specials. Since we've been eating here for a while, we knew exactly what we were going to order. We got our favorite dishes which are the Spicy Basil and Pad Thai with a Spice level of 3. The lunch special came with their soup of the day which was a savory, chicken flavored broth that had cabbage, carrots and onion. I was craving authentic Thai food that isn't too crowded or too pricey. After trying out a couple places that was too crowded we ended up with Aroy Thai which is a mom & pops place. Small but clean and well decorated. The nice waitress greeted us right away and guided us to our table and proceeded to take our drinks orders and brought us our menu. We ordered chicken curry, pad woon sein which is a stirfry glass noodles dish with optional proteins, Pad thai noodles with tofu and green Thai tea. Green thai tea is a must try if you haven't yet. I didn't sit down in the resturant to eat this time but I ordered off uber eats. They packaged it up nicely and put the foil so that it stays warm during the delivery. Pad see ew 7.5/10: pretty good but a bit too salty for me. I usually prefer more flavorful foods but this time it was a bit too much of the seasoning. The beef that came with it was tender and the veggies helped balance out the saltiness a bit. The portion was large enough for me to split it into two meals which was nice! It has been a while since I got Thai food. I decided to go around 2 PM to have the lunch special. I had never heard of this restaurant until it popped up on my Yelp feed one day. It's a small restaurant, and as it turned out, I was the only customer there. I ordered the green curry with chicken. With the lunch special, there's a cup of soup, and the main dish has a small salad, rice, and egg roll. The soup had a good broth and was a tastyy starter. I ordered the curry spice level at 4 on a 1 to 5 scale. I could have gotten 5, but that would have been too much heat to properly enjoy. The curry was flavorful and the spiciness was almost spicy enough. At $11.99 for the lunch special, the price is very good. The woman serving me was very pleasant. I get the same items ginger fish (2orders, 2nd for lunch next day), curry, Tom yum soup with tofu, pad see yew with fried tofu & veggies. While the calamari was nice & crispy, we didn't get very much for the price. The lunch specials came with salad, rice, and an egg roll. Every dish was around $12. Inside the restaurant is small but it wasn't busy (I went during lunch time on a Saturday). It was nicely decorated & very clean looking. When I went to pick up my order, they tried to run my card twice. It looked like they were having some kind of technical issue, which I could understand--but when I checked my bank account while waiting, I saw that I had actually been charged twice. I politely pointed this out, but the staff didn't want to hear it. Instead of helping me resolve the issue, they wanted to run my card yet again or have me pay cash. When I pushed back, the female counter server actually started yelling at me in front of other customers. At that point, I decided to leave without the food. I will not be returning. No matter how decent the food might be, the way they treat customers is unbelievably bad. read more
