My veterinarian recently went out on maternity leave. With no prior advance notice the manager contacted me and stated they would refill medication through the end of the year for both my dogs, however any veterinary care that was needed for either dog I would have to seek veterinary care at another practice. The manager was rude, and unprofessional when I tried to ascertain what the reasoning was for this. She made multiple comments stating that they've been trying to get me to leave the practice for many years. She also made a comment since she was trying to get my family member to leave the practice for many years. My family member has not been a client if there's for multiple years and she didn't even realize that. When I asked if that's why multiple misdiagnosis is medical errors, etc. have happened. She said yes we've been trying to get you to leave for years. That leads me to believe they've done things on purpose to try to make me mad enough to leave. When you put my animals at risk because you can't be a big girl and have professional conversations that to me is a zero star, but I have to give him one star to make the review. I have referred many people to this practice part of this, and I will never refer anyone here again.

There are rooms available if needed but thankfully my cat was able to be seen right away on a portable space. 2) Fast service - we were seen right away and even though the testing took 3+ hours (my cat's bladder was really really small and I opted to do the urinalysis even when it didn't work the first time) i appreciated how we were given a space right away 3) Staff professionalism and friendliness - all the staff seemed warm, approachable, friendly and I didn't get the feeling that anyone was trying to "upsell" me...I know going to any vet is expensive. That's just the way it is! I didn't feel pressured or guilted into making more expensive decisions though. 4) The BIGGEST reason for a 5+ star review is the waiting area/entertainment available for the kids!!! After my phone almost ran out of batteries a staff member told me there was a play area/waiting room for the kids and that saved the day!! I was able to focus on being there for my cat and my kids were hanging fun! They really thought of everything to make their patient-parents-family feel welcome. Cookies, hot water, coffee, tea was available in the waiting room along with toys! And since my phone DID completely die when my daughter tried to call me they even had a phone charger available (different chargers for different phones). In the end my cat ended up being fine and just needed a prescription so I'm very thankful for the whole experience!!

She was incredibly understanding and immediately offered to triage my pup right where we were, which I truly appreciated. During that stressful moment, she showed such kindness and compassion--she even offered us bottled water. It may seem like a small gesture, but it meant so much to us and made a difficult situation a little more manageable. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Dr. To and Nurse Mei for their swift action as soon as they identified what was wrong with my pup, Mia. Their urgency, professionalism, and compassion made all the difference during such a frightening time. They also allowed my partner and me to remain by Mia's side throughout her treatment, which meant so much to us. Here they take the pet and weigh themselves. 3) when I mentioned how hard it is for my dog to take the flea medicine, they offered a sample of another meds to see if she likes that better. Only con is there is a stronger pet smell compared to my other vet - maybe a bit of deodorizing/ cleaning can help alleviate the smell. Overall a more friendly and pleasant experience and I am so happy I switched to this vet - I highly recommend them.

But in…read morethe last year, there have been several problems with follow up, medical procedures and inflated prices. I took my dog in for a yeast/fungal infection on his paw that he had been licking until it was raw. The doctor looked at it and saw that the nail had been damaged and infected. She decided to give him pain injection, antibiotics for two weeks and some antiseptic wipes. This came up to about $400.00. She said that should follow up in a couple of weeks which I did. Jazz's foot had still not healed because of the damaged nail. On the second visit, the doctor said that she would cut the nail down to the quick and bandaged it up, with another pain injection and more antibiotics. They charged for the follow up visit office charge. Many vets don't charge an office visit when it is an ongoing issue. Again, the bill was over $400.00. Altogether, I paid over $800.00 for a condition that should not have been as high as that. Why didn't the doctor just take care of the nail on the first visit instead of subjecting my dog to two rounds of antibiotics and two office visit charges? She also said that I should get a senior panel blood test for my dog that they charge over $350.00 for the test. The same test according to the lab that runs the test costs $160.00. I mentioned this to the doctor and she said that they have to charge for collection and disposal of medical waste. I was told to monitor the healing process of my dog which I did. I called the office and gave them an update and had additional questions for the doctor. The staff member said that she would let the doctor know. That was at the end of July and have yet to receive a call back from them. They just never followed up with Jazz and that speaks volumes to the lack of patient care. As long as they got paid, they are not bothered about how the patient is faring. This, to me, is a deal breaker!! When you are more interested in your bottom line than the animal you are supposed to care for, you have lost my respect and my patronage!!
