Ordered catering four days in advance. When I arrived at the specified time to pick up food wasn't ready. They charge a 15% gratuity on catering which normally I would be fine with, however, 15% on our order was $31.50 and besides not being ready on time no one even offered to help carry the items out to my car for me. Even Qdoba helps carry the catering to my car when I pick up. Very disappointed. Food was basic. Paid a gratuity for nothing. read more

This was a good place. Lots of choices for toppings. We had 3 different personal pizzas and they were all really good. We got the garlic knots that others raved about and we found them just ok. Dround in melted butter, and just ok. The chocholate cannoli were great, the cheese cake was good but nothing special. This restaurant use to be great. I'm not sure if they switched owners but it has gone down hill from food to service. Stopped in for a bite to eat after playing some soccer. Walk in to a display of available pizza, choose which pizzas we wanted, you can order by the slice, got a couple of slices,a couple of orders of hot wings and a salad and washed it all down with a couple of cold beers. Overall a good place to eat, the Pizza crust was very tasty, the wings were of decent proportion my only complaint was the wings were warm but the sauce was cold, it seemed the wings were pre cooked then warmed up then tossed in cold sauce which gave it a luke warm texture. There were some other dishes that came out that caught my eye,and the staff was top notch so I'll have to go back and try some of the other creations. read more

There was a huge mixup with my lunch order. I wanted pasta, a hot dish, and was served the antipasto salad. I blame the masks and general ambient noise. The salad itself was filled with cheese and meats and looked tasty. Unfortunately I cannot eat spicy meats or peppers and onion. When the owner was made aware of the problem he insisted on giving me a full order of the pasta I had intended to eat. I'm sure the salad would appeal to most folks and the penne pasta was very good. Based on other reviews I was expecting something spectacular but our meals were just okay. We had a spinach calzone, a cheese calzone, a chicken Caesar salad and an Italian beet salad. The calzones were pretty standard fare - tasted okay, but not memorable. The salads were both a disappointment. A chicken Caesar salad is universally made with romaine lettuce and Parmesan cheese, but this one was iceberg lettuce and spinach with mozzarella cheese - definitely not what I was expecting and kinda limp and blah. The Italian beet salad was just a spinach salad with a few diced beets on top - a HUGE disappointment. The one bright spot was the balsamic glaze in the beet salad. It was very tasty. I can't recommend Blocky's. read more

Waited all day to try Blocky's food. It came with high recommendations so we might have been disappointed. We were going for standard Italian food to compare. First up was the sauce.. wonderful taste just right tomato and spices next the pasta cooked perfectly THE best meatball and sausage blend moist and correctly cooked. Garlic knots were spectacular warm buttery nuggets to dip in that perfect sauce. No disappointment here just a hunger to return. read more

I just moved to Loveland a couple of months ago from upstate NY. Naturally I wanted pizza that was as close to what I grew up on as possible. The first time I went there my boyfriend and I got calzones that were incredible! Not to mention they were reasonably priced. Also, they bring your food to your table with a smile, instead of yelling for you. The second time we went did not let me down. We got the stuffed pizza and brought it home. I (a small girl with a tiny appetite) ate two large pieces! It was so good I couldn't stop eating until I felt as if I was going to pop! All in all I think it is great and I highly recommend trying it!! read more

This place is awesome! Laid back atmosphere with some arcade games and a couple T.V.'s to watch the game on. The food is on point from the crispy wings to the pasta dishes and of course the pizza! We visited Loveland in March and went to Blocky's. We were impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the yummy food! When we moved here last month we were excited to go back and try Blocky's again. On Wednesday we were in the same shopping center so we went in to grab a quick bite. I ordered the Rigatoni Alfredo and my son ordered a cheese steak sandwich. As we were eating, I quietly mentioned to my son that the Alfredo wasn't as good as the first time. As I continued eating Chris, the owner walked by and asked how everything was. Being polite I said "good", but he noticed that the sauce on my rigatoni wasn't very thick and he said he was going to remake it for me. WOW!!! Now THAT'S customer service without me having to say a peep! Also when we left, we boxed up my newly made, much yummier rigatoni and I sent my son up to get another piece of bread to go with it. Chris wouldn't even let him pay for that! Needless to say, we left there shaking our heads that there are still places that put customer service above making money!!! Thank you Chris! We ordered from GrubHub. Part of my husbands meal was missing. We called the restaurant and the owner PERSONALLY delivered the missing food and also included a little something extra to apologize. This was on a Saturday evening at 7:30pm! The owner profusely apologized to my husband for grub hubs mistake. Apparently the driver just didn't bring the food. Thank you so much to the owner! Terrible. The food is fine. It's extremely greasy, but it's cheap pizza. My main issue is with the purple haired lady. She was extremely rude. Ignored us for a while until she finally took our order. We then waited 20 minutes for our food while everyone else got their bigger orders. Finally someone else came and asked what we were waiting was and boom in 2 seconds it was out. I don't know what her deal is, but as long as this place keeps up this terrible customer service, I will be urging everyone I know to find a different place to order pizza from. read more

Love all the food here! Best Pizza in town. Delivery is great! Love that it's veteran owned too! One very small, teeny-tiny, minuscule complaint, the hold music. Or as I like to call it, The Devil's Theme Song for Tormenting the Damned. It gets so loud it makes me want to die. I've almost hung up and ordered somewhere else, but the food is so good that I'm willing to put up with bleeding ears and potentially becoming deaf because I eat here so much. Ok, so it doesn't make my ears bleed, but I do hate it. I hate it so much. But I love the pizza. It's seriously like a form of torture! I'm hungry and want Blocky's - but that music! Do I call? What if they put me on hold? Gah! My ears! My Brain! I'm dying! But then the guy gets on the phone and is super friendly and polite, and my food is amazing so, why am I complaining again? Oh yeah...the hold music. It's like some kind of Nintendo-hell theme song, where the devil knows he's got you and is just going to blast some kind of tone into your brain as torment for all of your sins. And then, it goes back to being soft, but it's just a trick - don't be fooled! For BLAM! BLAMEDY-BLAM-BLAM! There's this tone that is like "I'm going to die if I don't get this tone to stop!" Ok. Maybe the owner's niece or some other cute kid recorded this on a Casio they were given for Christmas, and they're really proud to play it - or maybe, just maybe - hear me out here, this is like some kind of revenge play for having to work so hard to make great food? Do they know how bad this is at Blocky's? Have THEY had to listen on hold? It's like a form of torture...Honestly, if you want to stop ISIS, blast this music non-stop on all the speakers on earth and aim them at ISIS like they did to Noriega with heavy metal. If all the ISIS fighters don't fall down dead within 5 minutes, I'd eat my hat. And then, some Blocky's...but for the love of God, don't put me on hold! Thin slice pizza, burnt on the bottom -- not quite New York style, since it doesn't quite bend in half without cracking. Other than the crust, the toppings were decent. I also had a roastbeef sub, not quite as nice as I would hope. It is a east coast type of sub, made on french bread with the usual good toppings.The beef just wasn't the quality I was hoping for and not much added to the sub. Having spent some time in the east we have high expectations when someone touts their pizza and subs, unfortunately we were not thrilled by the food or our experience. Food was OK. Cheesesteak sub was dripping in grease and oil, far too much of the these. Pizza had flavorless crust and had its share of grease, and not the "good grease" kind. We've been in twice and both times the service was horrible! The first time one guy was taking orders and a couple younger workers were running around "slopping" food together. The last time, and I mean the very last time we'll ever come in, there was a line with one guy taking orders and only one young guy throwing food around. Another guy (the owner?) stepped out from the back, saw everyone waiting, but then turned around and went in the back again. We got got out of line and left without even trying to order. These guys need a system to quickly take orders and some quality control over the food. Without that they likely don't know the number of customers they lose and will continue to lose. The easy coast attitude of "leave if you don't like it" is fully at work here, and people like us will continue to leave. read more
