I love dropping by here to get their sundaes. Service is usually pretty fast, but keep in mind that a lot of their stuff gets sold out if you visit later in the day. They do have seating inside and I've been fortunate to always find a seat whenever I've dropped by, but it does get quite busy.

Bloom cafe is one of my go-to spots when I'm in the downtown area as it has delicious drinks and accessible from the subway. I enjoy the matcha latte here but the London fog is my absolute favorite here!! The drink is rich and perfectly balanced with the milk of choice (I like soy milk or regular 2% milk). The staff is kind and although the space is small, there's still a few seating areas available. They also have soft serve and pastries but I have yet to try them- this is something I must try soon!

So pretty, so delicate, the perfect dessert for spring! Bloom cafe is aesthetic and minimalist with tasty drinks and yummy snacks.

This cafe is small with artistic/modern seating so it can hold about 15 people. This is their second location. They sell maybe about 70% of the pastries as the original store. Service is courteous. We ordered the Peach Sundae ($7.95). It comes with a few pieces of peach and Rice Krispies at the bottom. Overall it is a good dessert for those hot days. There are 2 electrical outlets for customers to use while seated. There is free WiFi. The Cafe is wheelchair accessible.  There is one gender-neutral washroom that is also wheelchair accessible. There is limited paid street parking. Review 2022-068 You can also find me on Instagram @chuan_chee. Thanks.

If you are looking for nice dessert gift box that is delicious, light and pretty, get a puff box of 6($20 tax in). Especially love their creamto be not overly sweet and puff is packed with so much cream but light. Preordered online with apple pay. Pick up process was smooth.

I visited on a Wednesday afternoon, not too crowded. Walking in, I was delighted to see how cute and organized it was. They sell 6 cream puffs for $20, which is a good deal because you can try one of each flavor. I also bought 3 onigiris; wagyu, spicy salmon, and crab salad. The best flavor was spicy salmon imo. The crab salad was refreshing and the wagyu felt like a mini breakfast. I wasn't a big fan of the daifuku because of the mini chunks inside, but love the outside texture and cream. Would definitely come back again for the onigiri!

Found this little gem on my way to get some Starbucks and I'm so glad I did! This Asian inspired bakery had delicious Matcha and Soy bean Daifuku for a very reasonable price. Inside of the bakery looked very nice and offered indoor sittings which was perfect for the freezing temperatures during the cold front. Customer service was also great.

    Cute display of their products

I love ginger beverages- it wasn't overpowering here, I mostly tasted the kiwi and sparkling lemonade. It was busy in there but we still got our orders and drinks quickly, I appreciate how fast the service was. My friend got one of their banana bread drinks - if you like the taste of hojicha, this was particularly strong which I personally enjoyed! Love how the store also has sections where it is like a little market selling local goods and always fun to see the dogs that are sitting outside. The prices are a little expensive (my refresher before tax was $7.5) but typical for what you'd pay in Toronto for a fun drink, from what I've seen.

I'd absolutely come here to get some work done if I was able to get a seat. One thing I really love is that they sell handmade goods from local artists and host craft nights, it feels very community driven and adds such a fun, unique touch to the café. Drinks I tried: Maple Goguma Latte - Slightly nutty, lightly sweet, and super comforting. I added a shot of espresso, which made it perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Dalgona Latte - A really fun drink with great texture. Just make sure to stir it well since the sweetness settles at the bottom. They're known for their creative, seasonal drink menu, and I'm already excited to come back to try what they release next season. Definitely a must-visit if you love cozy cafés, unique drinks, and supporting local artists.

Some reviewers complained about the loudness, but, compared to many other downtown locations, Landwers was a medium level of noise, and we were able to converse. It was not excessively busy, but if you are set on eating here, then make a reservation. I finally tried the Sinia Kebab, and it was tremendously good! It was also huge, and I had to take half of it home with me. The focaccia bread is excellent, and serves as a sort of bowl for this deconstructed kebab. My husband had his usual Cobb Salad, which he thinks is particularly well done at Landwer's. Our other dining companion had schnitzel, which came with some angel hair pasta. He enjoyed it very much. Service is, as I said above, "relaxed". If you are planning to see a concert or show afterwards, then plan ample time to allow the relaxed service to unfold (a.k.a this is not fast food!!) We had a 6:00 reservation, and we were able to make our 7:30 concert time with about 10 minutes to spare. The University location is conveniently located near Thompson Hall, the subway, and Union Station (Via Rail and Go).

We shared the Mango Bingsu, and it was huge--easily enough for the five of us. The flavor was a solid 9/10, super refreshing and delicious. We also got two Dalgona Lattes, one with oat milk, and she differentiated them with the coasters, which was such an adorable touch. Now I need to go back just to try more drinks! Parking was free but a little awkward--spots are at an angle, and the plaza can get busy. But honestly, it's worth it. When we went, a few moms were catching up over bingsu, and it was such a wholesome vibe. Can't wait to be back and explore more of the menu!

Service was friendly and quick as usual. There's free parking at the plaza, though a bit tricky to find a spot during peak hours (dinner-time to closing).

It was pricey at $10, but honestly one of the best I've ever had. They instruct you to sip the foam first before mixing, and the flavours were bold with just the right amount of sweetness. The service was incredible. They actually brought my drink over, which I wasn't expecting, and when we were done they came by with water and cleared our empty cups. Such a pleasant surprise! This coffee shop is nestled semi-behind a pillar beside the lobby of the Intercontinental hotel Toronto, which adds to its charm for me, in a way. Love finding a good "hole in the wall" :) I love the bright, feminine, beachy decor and coral pink & aqua blue accents. It's not too tropical, but it definitely transports you outside of Canada. Coupled with Aussie staples like vegemite and Noosa magazines (takes me straight back there!), as well as gorgeous ceramic coffee mugs for purchase, the vibes are great here. While it is a smaller shop, there is enough seating for 3 tables, and it's very cozy. Had to go for a flat white, given the Aussie homage here. This one got my approval (and I'm picky about my flat whites) - they used a lighter, more balanced espresso roast, paired with just the right amount of creamy frothed milk. They also had a banana bread latte that my companion really enjoyed too! Looking forward to my next visit!
