My sister flew in from Dallas and we drove up from Mesa for this food!! Fresh and beautiful, plentiful and absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and quick and precise. It's a great little spot in Historic Downtown Globe and they are so lucky to have this place there. Worth the gorgeous drive. What a gem!! read more

What a great find in Globe! The Asian fusion menu was outstanding and the food was absolutely wonderful. Besides being very good we got a very large portion of what we ordered. Came in and sat down, very busy but greeted immediately. Also service was swift and pleasant. The crew was all from Mesa Az and found out they all car pooled an hour long trip to get to work . 5 staffers.. so awesome, like a big family.. now onto the food. I myself live in Mesa, I'm just visiting for the week.. i now know that a monthly trip to this place is a necessity for me and my partner! I had sushi which was Philadelphia roll was absolutely amazing and the actual smoked salmon was phenomenal. I also had the crab/cream cheese wontons and the "lettuce cups" just superb, unfortunately we were hungry and didn't get to take a picture of the appetizers but both of them were simple and fresh and amazingly delicious. For an entree I had the "flash fish" its Suzuki fish deep fried with a side of spinach rice , my partner had katsu chicken which he stated was out of this world delicious. Finally we ended up going with the " trust me sushi" no explanation of what was in it but as you can see by the picture it looks great and was so good it didn't need wasabi or ginger nor did it need soy sauce. It had a rice vinegar/ lemon we think. Either way . If it was something different and perfectly executed as a sushi dish . It was cold out so we didn't get to sit on the back patio but take a look at my picture of it . Extremely inviting. I love this restaurant!! I think this summer I ate there once a week. Sushi is good and their noodle dishes are amazing. I love the lantern flame. Spicy and tasty. The only reason I'm giving them 4 out of 5 stars is because sitting in there is always dicey. If you get there when they open, it's no problem. If I could, I would leave a zero for service. We dined Bloom previously and had a good experience. However, the service we received recently was horrible. We waited approximately 20min after being seated before walking inside to ask for a waitress to take our drink order. Again we waited a long period of time before waking inside to ask for a waitress to take our meal order. By this time the table next to us had received their drinks, appetizers, and meal order taken. Multiple tables had been served, while we continued to wait. Our meal finally came when the table next to us had finished their meal, granted we heard several times it was family of a worker of the restaurant. After our meal, again we had to go into the building to ask for our check. The other waitresses who was covering the patio let us pay with her, while our waitress was nowhere to be found. After my second visit to Bloom on 5/10/23, I'm compelled to edit my first review of 4 stars written almost exactly a year ago for the Ancient House Special. This time I ordered the Drunken Shrimp and Chicken and it wasn't very good at all. It was basically a big bowl of noodles swimming in satay peanut sauce with a few over-cooked shrimp and very small pieces of chicken (like it was diced). It came out piping hot but from the onset it didn't look appetizing at all. After a few bites it began to cool and the sauce thickened to the point that the noodles started clumping together. Then began the search for meat before it became inedible. I picked out as much as I could, and left was nothing but a large bowl of noodles in a thick, rather tasteless sauce. No doubt these guys on the grill work hard at what they do, but this dish was underwhelming from the beginning. The dish was at least 95% (or more) yakisoba noodles which to me is not a rounded meal, more like comfort food you eat at home when feeling lazy. Sorry guys, this dish was a thumbs down. read more

I don't do reviews! However, I wanted to help get the word out about this little gem in Globe, AZ. On the road to visit family in Safford, we looked for a place to have lunch. Were we ever surprised to see Bloom...a sushi restaurant in Globe, AZ??? Coming from Seattle, WA we were a little concerned about what we might be in for. The service was good and the food was a great surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. My sushi was better than I had hoped for. Would definitely return on our next visit to Eastern Arizona. Bloom has it's on twists on Asian dishes. Remarkably flavorful food and the atmosphere is that of a high end restaurant. For being located in a small town; Bloom brings the big city, high class chef standard to our community. Bloom has been nothing but a town favorite since they have opened up. What can I say, not what you would expect in Globe. This place serves great fresh Asian inspired dishes which are fresh, hot and delicious. Was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised and have been back several times. Dishes are cooked to order and you are able to request your level of spice. We waited a couple weeks to try this spot. It was still really busy. The staff are all new and still learning the menu and what the items are. Our food came out at different times and the rice tasted a little burnt. Overall we were served quickly and our waitress did a good job. The sushi was good and I really feel like this place is going to be excellent once everyone gets to know what they are doing. We will go back in a few weeks and I will update this review accordingly. I hate to do this because it is a new resteraunt but I'm sure in time it'll get better as they figure things out. From the time we were sat to the time we recieved our dinner was 2.5 hours, our party only had 7 people. The place had maybe 30 people in it. We never recieved our order of sushi, which consisted of 5 orders. I went an hour and 15 min with zero drink refills. The food was warm at best by the time we recieved it. Waitress kept telling us sushi was on its way out even though we were almost done with our main meal, she came by kneeled down and started asking us in hushed tone what was your sushi order, she said I'm sorry the chef dropped your ticket and never made it. We finally just told them bring the bill, it took em 30 more minutes to do that. We did get a sorry as we left. I'll try em again in 6 months read more

I love this place! Such a good spot in small town Globe. I was on a work trip for 5 nights and I ate here almost every night, trying a different dish each time. My waitress, Kristen, was nice, patient (my husband and I spent almost two hours here one night, eating, drinking and watching football), and attentive without being pushy. She was very sweet! The appetizers are amazing, main courses are amazing and the sushi is amazing. Oh, and the wine is amazing! I wish there was one in Tucson, it would do great there! read more

The menu is surprisingly extensive, the food is exceptional with many creative combinations that just burst with delicious flavors. The food at Bloom is exceptional. The service however is far from good. This is not new, but the service is definitely getting worse. Need a refill? Forget about it. Bring your own water. Want to order more sushi? You have to stand up and find your server to ask. Because the food is so good I've ignored the poor service...until today. I called to place a to go order and the girl who answered the phone just set it down and didn't come back. After five minutes of hearing background noise I hung up and decided to go in person. When I arrived the woman standing in front of me said she had been waiting 45 minutes and her food still wasn't ready, and I stood at the door for nearly 10 minutes without anyone greeting me. I would understand the delay if they were busy, but more than half of the tables were empty and it's the middle of the week. If there was another sushi spot in town I'd go there. One does not have to travel the Globe to find a treasure like Bloom! They just need to go to Globe and there it is! What a wonderful surprise it was. Last weekend, my husband and I took a trip to Globe in our RV. We stayed at the RV park in Historical Downtown Globe. We needed to find a restaurant with outside seating because we had our Yorkie with us. We found Bloom. The patio was great, the food was delicious and the service was top notch! Kristin was our server. She made us feel very welcomed. I had the Hong Kong Chicken and my husband had the Katsu Chicken. Both were very good! Portions are very big. We were lucky to be able to enjoy it the next day with the leftovers. The Fried Rice is the best I have ever had! We look forward to eating at Bloom again! I highly recommend this place! read more

We love bloom. Have tried a lot of the dishes which are good, but the sushi is amazing. I do the trust me roll often and it is always a fun surprise and interesting take on sushi. Have had mango, strawberry, ghost pepper (I think- super hot), mint and all sorts of cool combinations of sushi. Bloom was recommended by the host of the inn we stayed in, and I'm glad she did. I had the vegetable roll, which was probably the best veg "sushi" roll I've encountered. It's so exciting to have sushi in Globe!! The food is absolutely amazing and totally worth the wait. I know some people have said they had long wait times for their food, but I think the wait is standard when dishes are made fresh to order. I've had the same server both times I've been there, once to eat in and once for take out and she is just the best! She is friendly, kept our drinks filled and even remembered what I had ordered the first time. I would also say the prices are fantastic for the quality of the food!
