The food here is really good and so was the service. It's worth giving it a try. The staff is really helpful.

Amazing food! Homemade all the way. Unified bbq sauces. I'd eat here again and again.

From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We started with the three mesquite-smoked Texas Twinkies, and wow -- they were absolutely packed with flavor. Honestly, after that appetizer alone, I knew we had made the right decision stopping here. They serve Pepsi products, so we each grabbed a fountain drink, though they also offer beer and wine if that's more your style. The interior has a really nice country-style vibe that feels warm and inviting. For our meal, we ordered the half-pound brisket, half rack of pork ribs, and cornbread on the side. Everything was fantastic. The brisket had an amazing smoky flavor, and the peppery bark was exactly what I was hoping for. The ribs were incredibly tender, juicy, and truly fall-off-the-bone good. And the cornbread? Absolutely amazing. It was so moist and flavorful that it reminded me of biting into a perfectly made corn tamale. One small detail that stood out: even the bathrooms were spotless and smelled great, which says a lot about how much pride they take in the entire experience. By the end of the meal, I told my son we'd definitely need to come back soon -- next time with the SUV loaded up so we can bring the rest of the family.

I loved how the brisket is wrapped in bacon around the jalapeno. It was so flavorful. All of the flavors meshed well together. I thought I would get tired of the mac n cheese, but it was so good with their original bbq sauce. I definitely want to try their other things on the menu.

The pizza was hot and tasty and the beer was cold and bubbly. I had a Flagstaff beer Brew42 Irish Red, and Liz enjoyed an lighter 805 draft from California. Not too shabby for a Friday night off the beaten path on the road to Phoenix. They had a variety of pizza flavors, buffalo chicken, BBQ chicken, margherita, cheese ...we went for their Three Piglets which came with salama, sausage, and bacon. Not heavy despite all the sliced pork...full of flavor. The kids enjoyed the pizza and Noemi was amazed with the amount of cheese in her Mac n cheese. Kim O was a very nice and attentive server. She made sure we wanted for nothing. We didn't sit in the bar area, but there were sports being played on the big screens. It was later at night but it seemed like a popular gathering place and older families were hanging out and walking out with smiles as we walked in. We were glad to have stopped on this pass through enroute to Phoenix.
