Chill ice cream vibes in Pasadena. Went for a late after dinner dessert. Plenty of parking in the lot and on the street. Was not busy when we arrived. They offer 3 samples - so choose wisely. Ended up getting a split scoop of their Almond Brittle & Mackinac Island Fudge and the Mint Chocolate & Oreo. Both flavors were very good - lots of chocolate bits, which what i was looking for. Would come back!

I'd say the ice cream is just okay. The flavors aren't anything special, though I would say are on the very sweet end. Interesting that the mint and chip is brownish-grayish as opposed to radioactive green, which I'm okay with!

Background On Visit: This shop was on my route to spread news about Masters Of Taste. Background On Owners: Bijan & Leila Sadeghi. We can't remember a time when ice cream hasn't been a part of our lives. We were born and raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan where our parents have been in the ice cream industry for over 40 years. Upon moving to Los Angeles in 2010, we sought out a place to get the traditional feel-good ice cream that we grew up eating in the Midwest. When we couldn't find what we were looking for we decided to start a business of our own. We set out to create a product that would satisfy our desire for that creamy delicious ice cream of our youth and offer it to everyone. Ice Cream Of Choice: Just make a mental note, that you can only try 3 samples. I tried the ube coconut, peanut butter cup, and maple glazed butter pecan. They were all good, but I decided on the ube coconut for the base of the 50/50. For the cookie dough, I chose the oreo flavor. The ice cream was creamy and paired nicely with the cookie dough. was quite delightful to eat. Bloomfield Creamery: I would love to come back and try other flavors and perhaps try out their froyo.

Ordered Doordash and it was so delicious! Got the Pint of Ube & Coconut for $9.95. it was pretty creamy and not too sweet. Wish the taste of ube was richer in flavor since it tasted pretty subtle so this was 7/10 The 50/50 ($7.95) consisted of half ice cream and cookie dough! YUM! Got the chocolate chip cookie dough and cookies n' cream ice cream. The cookie dough was a bit too sweet but it was not too bad. There was a lot of chocolate chips and lots of pieces of cookie dough! The cookies n cream ice cream was very good! There were bits of Oreo pieces and it was so delicious! Definitely recommend this flavor so this was 9/10 The chocolate cookie was so amazing! Great vegan ice cream! They had four legit vegan flavors that weren't sorbet or something basic like that. And they also had classic Dole Whip. The edible cookie dough is a great concept. Staff were friendly and the shop is cute with decent parking and seating outside. Will be back.

This ice cream is really really good and it tastes very different from your run of the mill cold stone or Rite Aid , my flavors are the pistachio rosewater saffron, and the coconut ube . The ice cream flavors are simultaneously rich and refreshing, which not many places can pull off. Especially the coconut Ube. The service was pretty quick and the ambience is like an ice cream shop

Visited on a really hot day and there was a long line but only one girl working. The girl was working the register, giving out samples, and scooping ice cream. Also, even though the frozen yogurt is self serve, they check out at the same register as the ice cream line so there was a line forming on the other side of the register too. Other than the long wait, the ice cream here was delicious. I liked how they let you sample flavors. I ended up ordering a double scoop of the salted caramel and coffee flavors. The ice cream was so creamy, rich and really satisfying especially in this hot weather.

Bloomfield Creamery has delicious ice cream and froyo to boot. They let you sample flavors before ordering and if you end up getting ice cream, you absolutely have to get a waffle cone! They serve the best waffle cone in town and it's the perfect vessel for a double scoop. I'm partial to their Salted Caramel and Almond Brittle Mackinac Island Fudge flavors. Literally the best combo.

superman icecream here is the best. i once had superman icecream as a child somewhere else and i never forgot about it. its a mix of marshmallow, cherry, and vanilla with fruity pebbles. absolutely sensational. they do it so well here, get it with the waffle cone. u won't regret it. on another note, this place is known for their edible cookie dough add ins for the icecream. i don't personally get that but one day when the sweet tooth really calls i will...

I it's a nice ice cream shop/frozen yogurt that sells by the weight. They have a good selection flavors. I used to walk my parents down there when they were staying in an assisted living facility nearby. We always had a good time. Environment is nice and service is excellent. read more

We love our local ice cream spot. Unique flavors. Edible cookie dough is amazing. Doggy ice cream. Vegan options for our vegan friends. Friendly. Can be delivered through postmates in less than half an hour to us. My only complaint is sometimes the ice cream melts quickly! But I guess that means we just need to eat it more quickly which I don't mind. Key Lime is incredible. Coffee is solid. Chocolate caramel brownie is delish. read more

When: Saturday, 8:30pm What I ordered: scoop of Almond Brittle with Mackinac Island Fudge in a waffle bowl Staff are so friendly. Caitlyn is especially wonderful - she gave us a bunch of recommendations of where to eat and treated us to fresh baked cookies. The almond brittle ice cream is rich and smooth. Very generous chunks of almond brittle and fudge. I loved the flavor so much, I bought a pint to go. My friend also went home with a pint of their seasonal cider flavor. Parking is really easy - streets are plentiful. Good area to sit and hang out outside. read more

This place is fantastic! I'm not sure why I never thought about the fact that each state would have different varieties of ice cream (duh, I mean Maine has blueberry...) but I've never had Michigan ice cream before. This store values fantastic ingredients. You can try as many flavors as you want, and I'm obsessed with their cherry ice cream! They also have a delicious vanilla. Great ice cream place. read more

As a vegan, it's so hard to find good vegan ice cream. However, I got the most delicious vegan birthday cake ice cream here with vegan cake batter cookie dough. It was absolutely delicious and the workers were absolutely wonderful too! Highly recommend! read more

This place was recommended to me by my cousin. I've never heard of an ice cream shop where you can also get edible cookie dough. That idea is genius. They're very generous with their samples. I tried the Nutella, chocolate chip, and Oreo cookie dough. I finally decided on the Oreo cookie dough with organic Arabica coffee. The cookie doughs that I tried were all great. The coffee ice cream was so creamy and delicious. They also have a nice selection of frozen yogurt in the back. This is a perfect place to visit when you're craving something sweet! read more

Oooo I love a place that does it all. Hard-serve homemade ice cream. Edible cookie dough. Soft-serve frozen yogurt. I got the peanut butter cookie dough and it was so good. More creamy than heavy and dense. I've had edible cookie dough that felt like eating Play-Doh in texture... I like Bloomfield so much that I get this delivered to my house when I have ice cream cravings. Bloomfield has unique flavors and even the option to get different flavors of raw cookie dough. Plus, the scoop sizes are HUGE! There is street parking right in front of the shop and even outdoor seating. Come here for a cute date or family night and try new flavors with your loved ones! read more

5-30-21 I think this might very well be the most extraordinary ice cream I've had in my life. Not necessarily the best tasting, but the most special... ...get this.......... It. Does. NOT. Melt. .. ...... That's right. Ice cream that does not melt. I found this out by accident. I didn't read any reviews prior to writing this, so no clue if this was ever noted, but we left the container out while I visited my bro's new baby upstairs for a while. Then played with my own little one for a bit, watching him chase my bro's wife's family dog around the house.... Came back to the dinner table.... Wait, the ice cream is still in the same shape as we had left it 1hr ago????? I tasted it... yup it's not longer that cold. Still tastes creamy and luscious though... 1. Michigan T?A Cherry with Chocolate: I loved it. There isn't as much actual cherry fruit as some, and certainly I wouldn't mind more, but they did do a good job of getting the essence of the flavor into the ice cream itself. And the chocolate bits are tiny, which was a great thing--they were everywhere and made everything chocolatey without forcing you to eat candy bars in your bites. And the texture.... Amazing. Light. Creamy. Different.... And delicious. 10/10 Absolutely extraordinary. This is one of the very few artisan ice cream places I'm giving full marks for. Most just stuff fancy and exotic ingredients into a base, making simply bad ice cream with terrible texture, but cherished by hipsters with no taste. I got ice cream delivered from here so i cant really speak on the service, but the ice cream itself is phenomenal! I got a pint of red velvet cake and finished it myself in literally only a day its that good. I like it better than Fossellmans and Handels or even Salt and straw!! We love Bloomfield. All of their ice cream tastes homemade. I love that they use honey instead of lots of sugar. They have delicious vegan options and homemade cones, as well as a great frozen yogurt section. My daughter's favorite flavor is the Ube and Coconut, and mine is the Superman. I visited on 7/3 around 10pm. Bloomfield has such amazing ice cream flavors and vegan options, and they let you sample the cookie dough as well! I was blown away by how sweet and welcoming the staff members were. I remember Kaylie (forgive me if I spelled your name wrong!) but forgot to ask for the names of two other employees who were also super helpful! Definitely recommend the Pink Rose ice cream and Smores cookie dough! The 50/50 scoop is definitely the best option there, and you can opt for a split scoop for an extra 50 cents :)) read more

I've ordered ice cream several times from this place using postmates. The ice cream I've had thus far has been great except for today. I drove to the shop for the first time, which is like a 15 min drive, and asked for a pint of almond brittle and fudge ice cream. The guy working there directed me to their fridge to grab a stored pint from there instead of scooping it up into the pint himself. I asked if the ice cream stored in the fridge was essentially 'fresh' and he replied and said yes. Um let's just say this pint of ice cream is disgusting and old. No almond brittle or fudge pieces included as well. Also note that the price of a pint at the shop is $8.50 and the price for it on postmates is $9.50. Oh and I was given a "discount" for paying with cash, paid a flat $8.50. read more

What a hidden gem in the Pasadena/Altadena area. The prices are very reasonable, there're tons of options, and there's outdoor seating! We went on a cooler evening so decided to bring the ice cream home with us, but we loved every bite of it. We got the coffee, chocolate, and the brownie options and they were all phenomenal -- blended very well together! The employee working there was very kind and patient with my husband and me, as we were taking forever to pick our flavors. There was street parking in the front, so that wasn't a problem in the evening at all. read more

Great new addition to north east Pasadena developing Washington area. Selection of artisan ice cream as well as self serve yogurt. They have both strawberry and pineapple dole whip! Lots of different artisan ice creams to select from as well as cookie dough mixes. They have the popular 50/50 with half cookie dough of your choice and one scoop of ice cream. Nice to see both yogurt and ice cream under one roof. read more

We got the chocolate honeycomb (vegan) and salted butter pecan ice cream. It tasted so good! The vegan ice cream was so creamy and had chunks of chocolate and honeycomb in it. The salted butter pecan ice cream had bits of pecan and seemed to have some caramel swirled in it. Honestly one of the top creameries I've ever been to! They also have raw cookie dough (both vegan and non-vegan). They have the 50/50 option where you can get a scoop of ice cream and cookie dough. They also have cookie ice cream sandwiches. At the end of the day all I really want is an absurd amount of ice cream and cookie dough smushed together in one glorious concoction. Bloomfield Creamery is hands down my new favorite dessert cafe, forever and ever. My juvenile ice cream + cookie dough desires are completely fulfilled here, and to make things even more wonderful, they have several amazing vegan options that aren't simply sorbet or watered down weirdness. Pasadena truly is a better and sweeter place thanks to Bloomfield Creamery. To make things even better it is right across the street from the best foot massage place in Pasadena as well... Anyway, Bloomfield Creamery has multiple kinds of dairy-based ice cream (chocolate caramel brownie, butter pecan, triple berry cream cheese, plus a solid selection of the basics), as well as an impressive selection of cashew-based non-dairy options (birthday cake and peanut butter cup stood out to me especially). Their super rich ice cream, combined with a huge scoop of egg-less cookie dough make for one of the most beautifully decadent desserts I could ask for. I'm not fancy. The permutations seem endless, and the scoops are without question on the generous side. You can get a single scoop of ice cream, a single scoop of cookie dough, or the 50/50 combo, which has a bit of both and is obviously the way to go. The 50/50 is a little expensive, around $6ish, but you get a huuuuuuge amount of both ice cream and cookie dough, and could definitely be split-able between two people. They also sell frozen yogurt, ice cream by the pints at fairly reasonable prices for such small-batch ice cream, and give out samples galore. We will be back - definitely one of the best dessert spots in the area! read more

This was started by another Michigan native, so we had to come check it out when we found out. We got side tracked by the cookie dough and ice cream when we walked in and didn't even realize the soft serve frozen custard they had until after we had our orders. My superman ice cream was gluten free and cookie dough was vegan, and it all tasted normal so I was happy with it. Portions are huge and getting the 50/50 option in a kiddie cup would have been the ideal. read more

Excellent fresh ice cream and one of the only places I have found that uses the blue moon flavor which I love to have when I visit the midwest. When you go I strongly recommend their 50/50 and a scoop of superman ice cream and a scoop of their fresh raw edible chocolate chip cookie dough. read more

I've heard nothing but good things about this ice cream shop so I finally decided to give it a try. 1000/10 recommend! They have a wide array of products ice cream, frozen yogurt, soft serve, and the best part EDIBLE COOKIE DOUGH!! They even carry doggy ice cream. This is the place for ice cream in Pasadena. It is handcrafted with the best ingredients. They have soft serve frozen yogurt, custard, and Dole whips. The ice cream is amazing....the almond brittle with chocolate shortbread chunks is great, as is the organic maple glazed butter pecan. They also serve multiple flavors of cookie dough. It does not spoil as it is refrigerated and made with heat treated flour and no eggs. You can also get a combo with ice cream.... It is also spotlessly clean, the floors, countertops, and tables are wiped down regularly... Can't miss... read more

Came here pretty frequently before the pandemic as my family and I enjoy this local creamery. Came in and ordered the Mango Sticky Rice flavor, it was just coconut, no mango or anything. Was thoroughly confused, still tasty, but it was my cheat day and I was kind of pissed at the wasted calories and sugar I consumed. In addition, the owner kept talking about upcharges like how much half a cup of the cookie dough would be as if we couldn't afford it. Almost like, "Are you sure? Can you afford this extra $5?". I've been coming here since 2018, of course I know what's extra, and the prices are on the menu, after all. It was a bit condescending. And while I do understand some customers might complain about add-ons at checkout because they were not informed, it felt like you all were looking down on paying customers who could've chosen other local creameries to patronize that day. It has deterred me from returning for a while. Delicious ice cream and cookie dough, but not a very nice owner. We just tried Bloomfield Creamery and wow, we were impressed! I had the ice cream panini with berry cream cheese ice cream and it was delicious!! It was light but not too sweet (it wasn't just a donut stuffed with ice cream like some other places). My daughter ate a bowl of edible cookie dough, she liked it but it's a bit rich for me.
