Our food was great, and the service was fine, though the wait was long. However, the overall lack of cleanliness was unacceptable and the main reason I won't be returning. Dirty towels were scattered everywhere, the floors looked like they hadn't been vacuumed or dusted in ages, and the entire place felt unkempt. The bathroom was worn down, adding to the neglected feel. On top of that, a bunch of old papers taped all over the walls only made the place look even dirtier. Went on Labor Day, and the wait was surprisingly fast for our group of 6. We were seated outside. They were really busy but noticed that their service was quick. They have a large menu, it was a little overwhelming. I ordered the Mixed double Berry brio French toast and the monterey chicken burger. The food came out in a little over 15 mins. First time trying this place and found out that it is quite popular. We waited for about 10 minutes to be seated on a Saturday. My wife ordered the fiesta chorizo bowl with no olives and eggs over medium. It was very tasty. I did the chili verde and eggs with potatoes. The chili verde was not too spicy, was good but not great. The staff was very nice and tried to be attentive with as busy as they were. We will definitely come back. read more

Visiting a new restaurant when you're on a road trip is always an opportunity to find a new great spot. You're away from home and usually quite famished by the time you get there. This was a busy weekend time: Sunday morning. The restaurant was packed when we arrived. Fortunately, there was a spacious patio area so we could have some welcome "breathing space" outside for dining. it was packed. Fortunately, the servers were on top of it and we were able to order and receive our food without much of a delay. This was truly amazing. The menu was pretty big. The selection for break and lunch entrees was large, and I was hungry enough to have difficulty choosing. I finally settled on the pastrami wrap breakfast. It came served cut in half with a lot of pan-fried diced red potatoes on the side. There were scrambled eggs and large, diced avocado chunks inside. Fresh salsa was served on the side. The food was epically delicious. The only confusion was when we realized that checks weren't brought to the table after the meal. You have to go inside and mob around the busy register area and tell the where you were sitting to be able to pay for your check. They should have a less confusing location for the register rather than make it do double-duty as the hub area for the servers getting plates from the kitchen to send out to the tables. A little more logistical planning when laying out the floor plan for motion through the register area would solve that issue during busy time. This place obviously does good business and might consider the welcome effect good "flow" planning would have for both the customers trying to pay and the employees trying to navigate a busy crowd of customers. read more

The food was as people have told us, delicious. The service was not good. It took them a while to get our order taken. No small talk, I could tell that they have their usual customers and it was very obvious. This was our first time there and we noticed a lot of standing around by the employees. It wasn't as welcoming as I expected a small Cafe to be. I was almost done with my food when the finally came to offer a refill for my coffee. I said," thank you, I thought you forgot about me." Been here a couple times now. It's a very poplar restaurant. They only serve breakfast and lunch. I enjoyed the food and was happy with the service. It's a bit cramped inside but lots of seats inside and outside. The atmosphere is very friendly and upbeat so having it a bit cramped inside isn't a big deal , everyone seems to be in a good mood there. Plenty of parking spots all around the building. read more

I haven't come to this place since I was a kid, and they haven't really changed much since! In a good way of course. Our server was extremely friendly, or he may have been a bus boy, not sure they seem to share the work evenly there. Started off with a triple berry mimosa which was delicious! Then for lunch I got the pastrami sandwich. Though it was a little lacking in the amount of meat it was tasty! My brother ordered a salad (not pictured) which looked delicious, and my mom ordered the tuna melt which she said was good! Food all reasonably priced and service is fantastic. The food is awesome and you can't argue with the prices. The burgers are great and breakfast is out of this world. It took a good 30 plus minutes before we were asked for our order and customers that were sat after us were asked before us what their order was. The place gets really busy and there is enough help to go around, but sadly after I was seated it seems like they forgot about me and my child. Our server took our order, and went off. I wasn't checked on, my coffee wasn't refilled but once, and I had to ask for my toast 3 different times to 3 different people and when they finally brought it I was just about done eating. My daughters waffle was really good and for that they get the 2 stars but as for my plate, My steak has a lot of fat and nerves actually about 60% of the steak was fat and nerve and it was really hard and unappetizing to eat. I couldn't even send it back because I wasn't checked on until the bill came and I let them know. They did take half off my breakfast to compensate, but sadly I don't think I will be returning here. This has gotten to be one of my favorite diner/cafe in the Central Valley! The restaurant has a large menu, full array of breakfast and lunch platters. If you want something sweet and salty I would recommend the mixed berry and cream waffle "meal." The meal hit the spot and the chicken sausage was extremely tasty! The price to portion ratio makes this place a bargain! If you're ever in the Sanger area near highway 180 you should give this place a visit. read more

Just had brunch at this bustling place out in the country, and loved it! The service was great, as was the food. I ordered from the Senior Special menu and got 1/2 tuna sandwich and a cup of clam chowder. What a surprise to find it maybe yhe best clam chowder I've ever had! The sandwich was excellent, too. My companion had a ceggie sandwich with coleslaw and reported that was excellent too. I'll definitely return here on future trips to Fresno. read more

Since my favorite place to eat was closed for vacation, I decided to try Blossom Trail Cafe. Had been a few years since eating there. The pulled port sandwich I ordered was a disappointment. The bun was burned and the pork had hard crusty pieces that were hard to chew. The bus boy who showed us our table and got our drinks was the only friendly person. Our waitress was not attentive and rude from the start. Like we were bothering her to take our order. The condition of the cafe was terrible Floors had spilled food and trash all over. Disgusting to say the least. Even though they were busy, take the time to make the people there feel welcome.
