Horrible company!! Cleaning lady said she was running late and will be on her way, only to find out an hour later that she can't come because of an emergency. Which is funny because when I called their customer service number about bringing in a replacement, their customer service representative said that she did a job before mine and was allegedly injured and didn't feel like coming to my job. The guy from their customer service line said he would get someone else here to replace her but never heard from them at all. Don't do it. You're better off going to Home Depot and hiring one of those hard working guys. I hired BLT "Cleaners" to clean my house. They stepped on my MacBook and didn't even tell me. That's $1700 in the trash. The cleaning was extremely mediocre. She didn't dust or mop. My kitchen was untouched. I found a lot of our dishes valuables inside our garbage bin in front of our house. She didn't fold any of our clean laundry. My fiancé caught her on her cellphone long periods of time. She did not bring any cleaning items. She finished all of our paper towels. She floated our bathroom. My fiancé tried calling the owner several times but the asshole just didn't give an F. He ignored all our calls and voice mails. If I have time I will report him to the BBB. You can't go around breaking private property and proceed to dodge the confrontations that comes along with it. We still tipped her $30. Had we known she stepped on my MacBook... I would have not given her any tip. The owner never picked up after several attempts. He has not returned my calls at ALL. I'm going to report them to the business better bureau. Oh and she had the nerve to give my fiancé her personal business card to hire her outside of BLT. They are a scam. Stir away. Did I mention she was 46 minutes late? Just the worst. I tired to set up an appointment with them at least 4 to 5 times. I called, emailed, and texted. When I called I spoke to a nice man who said they'd get back to me and never did, they never responded to my email and when I texted I would be talking to someone and when it came time to book the appointment they'd suddenly stop messaging me and totally leave me in the dark. I am going to assume it's because I have dogs. All I asked is if they had a cleaner who was comfortable around dogs and every time that question was asked, they'd totally ghost me. I explained that both my dogs were literal therapy dogs who make visits to senior centers, hospitals, and children's shelters. I just don't want the dogs to be outside for 3 hours, especially if it's 90+ degrees outside. If you don't have a cleaner thats comfortable around dogs, that's fine, but it is SO unprofessional to literally just stop responding to someone and totally leave them in the dark. I sent them a message asking them why it was so hard to get this booking done and big surprise, they ignored me. I do not recommend this company, at least not with the current management. At the end of the year, not only did we decide to stick with the company, we increased to bi-weekly cleanings. The company is easy to work with. Any time I've called, they've gotten back to me within the same day. Maggie is our regular cleaning person and she is AMAZING! She is always on time, texts us if there's ever a question or issue and always does a great job, be it our standard cleaning or any special requests we might have. She's the best. This owner is very disrespectful. He does not care about the customers. This was my first time with this company, and the cleaner was not prepared for the job I wanted done. She wiped my toilet and appliances with window cleaner stating it works really well. I had to provide her with disinfectants, bleach, Ajax I called and spoke to the owner Benjamin who said noone cares, im being petty and noone will read or care about my review. Scheduled a cleaning a week out and when the day came...no show. Not even a call saying they're going to be late. We had to call them to see what's going on. 3 hours later and still a no show. Guy mentioned the cleaners are lost. He even asked me to drive around and look for them. I didn't realize I was in the lost and found business but hey the more you know. I purchased a Groupon for 4 hours of cleaning without reading any reviews. Shortly before scheduling, I discovered a slew of negative comments. I have to say, my experience is a complete 180 from anything I've read. While the person I spoke with on the phone wasn't the bubbliest of personalities, they completed my appointment scheduling professionally and expediently. I scheduled a 9am appointment and Carol called me at 905am to let me know she had arrived. She got to work immediately on my bathroom and bedrooms while I made myself breakfast in the kitchen. Carol is very outgoing and professional, so we had some great conversation, and a few laughs, while she and I both went about our tasks. Carol worked quickly and efficiently and finished my two bedroom apartment in just under four hours. She asked if i had any other cleaning tasks to complete and I declined and let her leave about 15 minutes early. I purchased the service after having knee surgery and needed a "cleaning reset." Did all the window sills and baseboards get detailed? No, but I also didn't direct Carol to do that. I told her my expectations at the start and she met those and exceeded them in personality. Hired BLT to take care of one of my AirBNB clients. Cleaners came out on Thursday and there was a schedule mixup, and the clean wasn't supposed to happen until Friday. The error wasn't BLT, but they worked around the scheduling conflict with no problem, were friendly and polite, and made my life so much easier. They also did an immaculate job on the clean, and as a cleaning professional myself, I recognize and appreciate a high quality clean. My appointment was set for 1pm for 1 person/3 hours. I didn't get a call until 1:30pm, with a request to start at 2pm. I politely said no because I had evening plans that I needed to get ready for after they would be done at 4pm. 2 cleaners arrived 5 mins or so later. I gave an overview of what I wanted done. They understood and began cleaning. I am not a micro-manager so I went to my guest room (that did not need to be cleaned) and let the ladies do their thing. After about an hour, they told me that they were nearing their end time. She explained that since it was 2 of them the time is cut in half. SO WAS THE WORK! They only did half my house. My house in total is only about 1400 sq ft, 3bd/2ba. They DID NOT have to clean 1 bdrm and 1 bath. So 3 hours would have been plenty of time for a professional. I have used BLT in the past, with 1 cleaner for 3hrs and she did a great job. So why not use them again since I was emailed a promo code for $10 off? Even with 2 people it will take longer than 90 mins. They focused their efforts on things that I specifically stated they didn't have to. I have 2 dogs and the worst part is their fur on the floor. They got the fur up in the living/dining room by sweeping (with a broom) laminate floors when I gave them a vacuum cleaner and/or a microfiber dust mop that would take half the time and be just as or even more efficient. They didn't wipe out the microwave or wipe the counters. My stainless steel front refrigerator shows all the streaks of how it was wiped. My stand up mirror is streaky. In the master bath, the top of the cabinet was not dusted and the bathtub was half cleaned. They asked if I had a specific floor cleaner I used and I told them where the BONA cleaner was under the kitchen sink. They WET MOPPED MY LAMINATE FLOORS. That's okay for the tile in the kitchen and bath but not for the laminate cause it leaves the floors dull and it could cause water damage. I started not to write this review at all but as I had to get up this morning and finish cleaning my house I felt I needed to. I was very upset, angry even. Not only did I pay for the service but I also tipped the ladies based on what I thought was a valiant effort at the time. We have a large and very dirty apartment. 2 bed/2.5 bathrooms. I called BLT because my prior cleaning service had canceled one too many times, and our apartment was filthy. The crew was on time, incredibly polite, and did an amazing job. Our place looks like it's brand new. Everything is shiny and sparkling! And they're so much more affordable than anyone else in town! They even finished half an hour faster than expected. Part of me doesn't want to leave a good review, because it means more people will start using them and it'll be harder to get appointments! My only critique, would be that they missed dusting the nightstands and windowsills. Not a big deal, since it took us about a minute to do. read more

Affordable budget cleaning, one of the lowest prices in town. However, keep in mind: with lower budget pricing comes lower quality of service than you might expect. I paid $69 for 3 hours of cleaning, but only got 2 hours, 45 minutes of actual cleaning time. BLT does charge only $20/hr for each additional hour after 3 hours, but I felt that 3 hours should have been sufficient to clean a 1br/1ba/760sq ft home. Cleaning girl arrived on time with her own supplies. She was on her way to a 5-star review, but inexplicably packed up and left 15 minutes early, even after we asked her to stay for a final walkthrough. When we finally got ahold of her, we asked her to come back to clean some spots she missed (dirt/dust behind TV, on walls, on blades of ceiling fan), and she refused. There was also confusion about how the company was to be paid - cleaning girl thought she was supposed to take cash, but owner assured us credit card was accepted by phone. Aside from her poor customer service, we thought she did a reasonably good job cleaning our place. Owner is professional and tries to provide value service to public. When I mentioned that the cleaning girl left early, he said that she was new and that it takes time to train new hires. Would be nice if training were completed before the cleaner is sent to client home. I did find it strange that owner waited 3 days after cleaning to collect payment from me, but that is a small quibble. Bottom line: If you want to save money and get a decent/average/so-so/"ok" experience, go with BLT. It does fill a niche in the market. Be aware that you may have to roll up your sleeves and touch up some areas after the cleaning. If you insist on perfection, you are better off looking elsewhere. read more

Used a Groupon (for Miley Maids, which I gather is a partner of BLT), but considering the quality and efficiency, I'd easily rebook them at their full rate. I had Sulma, and she arrived on time and literally worked non-stop to finish everything I requested. Scheduled them over the weekend and we were not happy. The girl came in late, it's okay though but a courtesy call would have been appreciated. She seems really nice and she did an okay job. We are not having the whole house cleaned. We just wanted the 2 small baths, master's bedroom, family room, living room and kitchen cleaned, these are not big spaces... We also added windows on the service. After 3 1/2 hours which cost us $75, our 2 bathrooms, 2 small and 2 big windows were cleaned. That was it.
