Cattlemen's is it. How so? I took my wife there a couple of weeks ago and, when we returned this week, the waitress told us we could sit anywhere and when she came over with coffee, she remembered that we sat at the same table the last time. Not only that but when she asked what we were doing that day and we told her she remembered what we had told her a week and a half earlier. : 0 And the food. Their biscuits are the best I have ever had at a restaurant. Not only are they massive but they are flaky and moist (not the dry hockey pucks you get at other places). And their gravy is flavorful and a perfect pairing. Unlike the pasty mess at other places that will remain nameless. the eggs are perfectly cooked, the sign of a great cook, and the variety is sure to please anyone in your group. When she walked in, a sad little man sprinted from the back of the restaurant to the front shouting, "The doors shouldn't be open yet! WHO OPENED THE DOOR?" like he was investigating a major security breach instead of greeting a customer who just wanted a delicious breakfast. My daughter--who regularly handles ACTUAL emergencies--was so startled and embarrassed that she simply turned around and left... still crêpe-less. So instead of a relaxing day off treat, she got yelled at by a crêpe sentry. Not exactly the customer experience we were hoping for.
