    VIBES!!!

My first Blue Bottle experience was in LA, and trust me--this coffee addict gives it a full stamp of approval. If you are looking for a trendy, chic, waterfront café to chillax then this Blue Bottle location is for you. It's located in the Lido Marina Village area, situated within a HanaHaus open workspace. It gives bright, modern Newport vibes. Outdoor seating is sparse, as indoors is reserved for the working peeps. On this family outing, my mom, sis & I stopped by to get a quick pick-me-up ~ to fuel us thru our Saturday shenanigans/exploration of the area. The staff was friendly and so helpful in guiding us to the perfect coffee/latte to satisfy our tastes. I opt'd for the unique cherry blossom iced latte. It was a refreshingly light, cherry floral taste. The coffee notes were perfectly strong enough for me, considering this was my 2nd cup of Joe of the day, which is out of the norms for me. Lol..but oh so yums! My sis tried the affogato and boy was the espresso WOW (good tho) strong, over the vanilla gelato. She liked it. My mom gravitated toward something on the lesser sweet side, ordering the iced sweet latte, which she enjoyed as well. Despite the "sweet" name lol..she said it wasn't overly sweet at all. Just a perfect marriage of coffee & oat milk. Blue Bottle is consistent, solid coffee. Definitely one of my top fav coffee brands, alongside Starbucks. So if you are in the area or ever wanted to try it..I, RxFoodie recommend!!!

The highlight of this place is the views and the ambiance. It's a quiet work share place where you can reserve tables. A lot of working adults here to be productive. Taking one star because there's no obligation for loud folks to not stay off their phones. No, I don't want to hear you rant to Nicole about some internal drama. People are here to be productive. I got the iced americano and it was alright. I think other locations (like the one in SD) pour better shots than here.

Giving it a 4 not because of the coffee or baristas but because of the woman working at the front desk. Was at this location at 6:58a this morning. Patiently waiting for 7am opening. Promptly at 7a she unlocked the doors, holding them open just enough to get it unlocked and then letting it go and turning her back when there was NO way she didn't see me. You can't hold the door knowing I'm standing RIGHT there. Can't say good morning, welcome? Aunica at the barista station made up for the distaste of first impressions. She was insightful and kind. Got my matcha. She explained it was a little bit bitter as it is and asked me if I wanted sweetener. I let her know I did not and that's how I get it when I come there although I've never been to this location. I do sometimes get a beet latte, but they did not have that at this location. They do have a default of oat milk, so there is no extra charge. This place has a significant amount of space for people to work in. When I first walked in, I thought it was some sort of library or office space... And it very well maybe but it was a fantastic workspace for a coffee Café, where nowadays places like Starbucks are taking their seats out and limiting space.

Beautiful location with great views -- easily one of the best Blue Bottle spots. The layout and operating style are unique and fit the setting perfectly. Coffee is consistently good, and the overall experience feels calm and well thought out.

Wanna give Jason a shout out for giving my sister and I a great experience for our visit today! Not only did he give us a great recommendation for our coffee choice. But he also went out of his way to accommodate us since we had our hand full with our babies. Thank you Jason for your service today!

Macchiatos enjoyed in the car since there's like no parking.

This is such a weird little Blue Bottle Coffee outpost, but it serves up the delicious espresso you know and love from the amazing company. It's located inside a shared workspace type office, so they ask you to keep quiet, LOL. There isn't much seating at all, and the coffee bar is a little outshoot from the main workspace rental area. I guess it's great if you're paying for a spot but otherwise, this isn't a location where you can sit and work and sip espresso all day long. Parking is next to impossible, so be warned. I was lucky that my hubby was able to drop me off and drive around the block a few times so I could run in a fetch coffee for us. We ended up drinking it in the car. This Blue Bottle does have stunning views of the adjacent marina, with lots of fancy pants boats just steps outside. The coffee was exactly what you expect from a Blue Bottle: high quality, pricey, and done just right. My macchiato was excellent and worth every penny (in my opinion). If you need your Blue Bottle fix, you won't be disappointed in this location.

Incredible coffee and pastries! The Iced NOLA is just the right amount of sweetness and not watery at all, and the Cherry Blossom seasonal latte also seems interesting. Avocado toast portions are also generous, and the bread is toasted to perfection. The seating, parking, and WiFi options are quite limited, so Blue Bottle is not ideal for getting work done. Rather than dining in, I'd recommend grabbing a to-go order and walking around the gorgeous surrounding Lido area.

I saw a reel of the cold foam and demanded we go, it was so worth the line. It's in/next to Hana house so a great spot to post up and get work done with stunning views (there's a $4 charge per person per hour). Service was super friendly. I'm not a big coffee drinker but I tried my boyfriend's iced Nola coffee and it was delicious. Will definitely be back soon

It's very busy but the lines moves quickly. Your order also comes out fairly quickly. It's located inside of another business. It is difficult to find parking we're parked two blocks away and walked over .

You have a very small area where you can sit and drink your coffee, if you want to sit anywhere else you have to pay. Paying to sit, is RIDICULOUS! This place should be Called office for rent , not a coffee shop. Coffee is good. Ambiance: okay, feels like an office

Love this Blue Bottle location. The workers are super nice and the drinks are great. My wife always gets the Nola Float (coffee + ice cream) and I got the Nola Shakerato. Crazy name but super, super good. I can't wait to get that again. Bathrooms are always clean since it's part of the office rental place that the blue bottle is a part of.

There's plenty of tables set outside to be shared amongst the other small food spots around. I visited on a Saturday morning after taking a walk up and down the pier with my pup. The line was a few folks out the door but I was at the counter ordering within a few minutes. The menu is straight and to the point, prices are what you'd expect from any coffee shop in the OC (I would think the baseline is $6-$8 per drink) They also offer smoothies and açaí bowls as well. I see that they had an açaí smoothie on the menu and was intrigued! Once I received my smoothie, I could tell just by visuals it was a premade frozen açaí blend of some sort that was re-blended. It tasted pretty close to the single serve frozen açaí pouches you can buy at Costco. And speaking of, the consistency was exactly like your Costco berry smoothie (and dare I say.. even the taste? lol) except of course the Costco smoothie is only $3. It wasn't great. It wasn't bad. It wasn't cheap ($8) but, it was a cold drink on a hot day that was artificially sweet and went down easy. And also, served by the nicest staff!! Next time I'll try their matcha (which is what I was going to order but then I had to get spontaneous lol)

I ordered a churro latte half sweet and a deluxe avocado toast. The latte was delicious. Sweetness level was just right for me. I don't like super sweet drinks. The avocado toast was also great. I had the smoked salmon bagel, featuring delicate slices of salmon layered over cream cheese spread, topped with capers and fresh chives. This is my go to for coffee houses that offer it. The bagel exceeded my expectations and I believe the chive's subtle flavor complemented the smoked salmon really well. For drinks we tried the chai and hot chocolate. The iced chai latte was smooth and not too sweet with a dusting of cinnamon on top, but I would rate it average in taste. The hot chocolate was deliciously velvety and detailed beautifully. I would rate it a five out of five! The difference at this coffee shop is that you can choose from a range of seating arrangements and have an opportunity to support the business by picking up clothing, a bag of coffee or other merchandise. The con for this coffee shop is that the beverages are somewhat undersized relative to the price point. In addition, the customer service experience fell short. We were greeted upon entering, but it was unclear where customers should retrieve their order or whether orders numbers were called out. With that said, those looking for a quiet morning coffee or a cozy place to catch up with friends, this spot can accommodate.
