Stopped by Culture Drip in Newport Beach and had their Angel Latte, and wow... it was fantastic. Smooth, flavorful, and honestly one of the better specialty lattes I've had in a while. Parking is scarce; no lot, just street parking and it's close to the beach so don't hold your breath. It's nice to have something walking distance from when you are hanging out at the beach, however! Very strong Viet Coffees! Crème Burlee Coffee 7.5/10 The crème Burlee doesn't have the burnt sugar on top but it's still tasty. Pistachio Coffee 7/10 Pistachio Coffee is tasty and also very strong. Downside is that the pistachio isn't as strong. Nice coffees but the cream is quite thick (unless you like it then rating would be higher but unfortunately not my preference). Quick service and friendly staff! Some seating inside and free WiFi, perfect for studying. You will need to find street parking since they don't have a private lot. read more

I dropped by Culture Drip to get some work done before my Pilates class nearby. Yelpers had touted it as a great place to study. I strongly disagree for one major reason: the music was so unreasonably loud. Like organ thumping loud. I had to set the volume of the background noise on my AirPods really high to drown out the music, but I obviously couldn't do anything about the physical vibrating. Wifi was good, space was comfortable, but for the volume of the music alone, I do not recommend if you need a peaceful environment. Also, although the digital screens on the menu behind them advertised sandwiches, they no longer offer them. I needed a healthier option than something called a croffle, which looked overly sweet. The coconut ice coffee was similarly cloying. I had to add a concentrated black cold brew in order to mute the sweet. In addition, the gal who took my order wasn't sure where their designated parking was located. It was just an overall underwhelming experience. Bottom line for me: an otherwise lovely physical space turned totally jarring due to the anxiety inducing volume. I won't lower stars based on my personal preference for a quieter work space, but I don't see myself wanting to return. read more

I love me some Vietnamese coffee! We tried the pistachio coffee which is Vietnamese coffee with pistachio foam and the blueberry matcha. I thought the pistachio foam balanced out the bitterness of the viet coffee and I also love pistachio in general, so it was a good fit for me. The blueberry matcha was not the best I've had--it seemed to taste more like blueberry milk and no matcha. Overall I would come back for a coffee pick me up! After coming here for a yelp elite event this is the 3rd time I've been back. My family just can't get enough! I've had their croffles, and they are so tasty. The service was so accommodating, they asked if I was planning to eat it right away and separated the whipped cream so it wouldn't get soggy. I've ordered several different matcha's the banana and strawberry are hands down my favorites. The banana is a natural banana flavor lightly sweet perfectly paired with the matcha flavor. Their Vietnamese Coffee is amazingly strong, and the pistachio foam, I got bits of actual pistachio, and *chef's kiss* all around fantastic iced latte! Lastly got the banana mochi waffle.
