    I have read a lot of the negative reviews and was very cautious when purchasing our rv from Blue Compass (formerly blue dog). We recently purchased our second rv from them and they were very professional and helpful. CJ (Carl) was our salesman and went out of his way to make it a smooth transaction even sending video explanations. He spent a lot of time going through the rv with us to get us familiar with all the bells/whistles. I'm not trying to discount the negative experiences but ours was a good one. We paid cash and didnt have to deal with the financing stuff so I cant comment on that side of it. Ask for CJ

    This is the ABSOLUTE WORST RV LOT. Didn't used to be that way. Sold us our latest RV end of May for my daughter and son in law. For a summer of fun. They got one weekend. This NEW RV was damaged inside but promised to have it fixed promptly. To date NOTHING. THEIR Service Mgr Mike, appeared caring one month ago. Ended up with him verbally THREATENING MY HUSBAND on my phone yesterday. I tried to get the guy to calm down. He didn't even realize he had a woman on the phone by then and he kept screaming at now me on the phone. He had NO Clue because he wouldn't let me talk. Told my hubs to come down face to face with him. Threatening. One Motorhome and 3 RV purchases in the past. Never been so insulted and disgusted by his vulgar personality. STEER CLEAR OF BLUE COMPASS. After calling sales back, I was assured manager Carl in Sales will call my right back. He was in bathroom. Nothing. No call. Thanks for treating your longtime CUSTOMER LIKE CRAP. SHAMEFUL. The picture below is of one of their female employees in service that is slumped over asleep. Not the first time she's been seen like this.

    There is no way to give zero. I found my rv online. I knew exactly what i wanted. I had just lost my home in wildfire and needed the rv to live in. They knew this. I did not recv delivery of my rv until it was almost time to make a payment. It was delivered unwashed and winterized. I added in money to my loan to help payoff my rv that was destroyed by the same wildfire. It took me 5 months to track down the money which was mine. This was my third purchase of an RV. There ARE accountable and caring companies to work with. BLUEDOG RV WILL NOT TRANSACT BUSINESS ETHICALLY WITH YOU. CHECK OUT THEIR BBB REPORTS. WISH I WOULD HAVE.     Blue Dog RV wired our new couch batteries incorrectly causing issues. Inverter leads on one battery instead of on battery 1 and 3 as per Grand Design recommendation. The sales and finance people were liers and cheats. Won't even talk about the racial remarks the lady in parts said. They need to be put out of business.

    If negative was an option this locations score would be -5 stars! The older blonde female in the office and the older male [her husband?] really went out of their way to make our delivery of THEIR Companies trailer the hardest thing I ever witnessed - that chick literally woke up and chose MEAN! My husband delivers Rv for a living we've criss crossed this country as well as Canada/Newfoundland and we've never experienced that much hatred but they are by far the rudest, nastiest, and completely unprofessional company we've met. My husband asked to use their printer to print 2 pages of authorization forms for release-the older male told him no and to leave-but he could drop the trailer and come back for the paperwork after he printed it out somewhere else. My husband being the gentleman didn't argue simply replied "okay then-but the trailers coming with me". The male said "oh no you can leave it" so my husband took it and drove a couple miles down the road -printed it - and returned for inspection and sign-off. After a month we went back out to get more trailers for delivery and around 5:45pm we picked up our last trailer and to our dismay it was to be delivered here again (heavy eye roll). We stayed the night in Boise and got up around 6am to start our drive. We printed the paperwork-felt good like we had all the T's dotted and I's crossed ;) so we get there and hubby goes to the office with the paperwork he started to hand the other lady in the office the paperwork but the mean female child comes stomping in snatches the paperwork and SCREAMS "NO" at my husband. Then this chick says "don't you see the note that says call 24hrs in advance for scheduled delivery". My husband responded "we haven't had the trailer for 24 hrs we got it last nigh at 5:30-6pm". So then she had the audacity to say "well if you would have called I would've answered the phone!" To which he stood there thinking 'you wouldn't even print 2 pages of paperwork but I'm supposed to believe you would've answered the phone (baa hahahaha!!!) mmm hmm right. The C U Next Tuesday female says "you'll have to come back on Monday to get it inspected because you didn't call before or you can drop it but I won't assume responsibility for it until Monday". We took pictures of every square inch of the exterior because we had to be in Indiana in 2 days. We dropped the trailer outside their fences that said "EMPLOYEES ONLY" went to lunch and I told him we should go back. 30 minutes later we went back and the trailer was now missing from where we parked and dropped it and was now sitting down the street behind their fence at another property. Just when you think maybe she was just having a bad day....nope, she held the paperwork for 4 days preventing my husband from getting paid-even after they took possession of the RV. So in closing please don't buy anything from this location! The "week" long inspection they perform is not real-seriously they are lying all inspections on the inside are performed prior to it leaving fabrication, fab ensures things like toilets, pipes, valves, and hinges all work. The only thing they should be fixing are small scratches or scrapes NOTHING to do with electrical, water, heat or air should ever be touched by them-typically that supposed work they're telling you they're doing could easily void a warranty. If this location wants to employ those 2 very rude mean nasty people who continually display such a low (basically non-existent) moral conscious with no understanding of decency or professionalism - shouldn't be employed under Blue Dog Rv. PERIOD .

    I am updating this post as a consumer I feel the need to let others know that our experience…read more Being told faulty part replacement was the issue is disheartening. Parts replacement still requires good install and support. Repeated visits, time off work and extra costs to return based on work that was my done correctly equats to poor service. I rarely write poor reviews but I this has gone too far. First our Starlink was wired incorrectly requiring a 2nd visit and was told it was a miscommunication (what ends of wires are internal and external-we are to tell you that?), the refrigerator required at least 3 visits and still leaked to the point of ruining the slide floor causing the slide to buck and jump when going in and out resulting in a $10k repair. Even during dewinterizing they kept turning the ice maker line on after we as asked them not do that. More water on the floor. Then Roadmaster install, the truck wiring was done incorrectly resulting in my brake lights flickering. Dishman Dodge said take back to RnR. There is another return, taking time off work and gas. Now the new refrigerator doesn't work, it turns on but doesn't cool down. I literally took off all the plastic packing material and was so excited and to another disappointment it didn't work. Had to end our trip early and paid $80 for coolers to save $200 in groceries to be told, it worked? Seriously, it doesn't work. I took over 2 hours researching and troubleshooting resolution to be told in my comments did you check the breaker and GFCI. (Sigh). Of course we did. I don't post negative reviews because I am bored, but to inform others of our genuine experience. RnR can make their claim but this is my experience.
