She explained the process over the phone and then again when we met in person. She didn't lead me in one direction or another, but, gave me enough information and confidence to proceed. She fully explained the process and after care and dispelled misinformation published on the Net. She suggested having it professionally cleaned at the store because it is so delicate. It also had some glue on the back of it and the silver was tarnished. They cleaned it and were able to remove any sign of glue. It looks so nice now and still has its vintage look. She even had an idea on how I could display it to hang in my room. My husband and I had such a great experience working with Paul for my custom engagement ring (pictured) and with Ravi for a heirloom ring resetting. We chose to visit Blue Diamond because we wanted to avoid big box jewelry stores which are usually intimidating to me. I had an amazing time with Ravi and Debbie. They were attentive, helpful, and listened to our wants. Ravi could have tried to sell me on a higher priced item, but didn't push; he even had me walk out into the sun with the ring to see which one I preferred and it was brilliant because I knew deep down which ring I wanted for my band. My fiancé got his as well. Overall, we were happy with our rings. My only concern is that my ring was yellow gold when I took it in to get resized and now it's white gold on the part where they fused it. I will be checking in with them about the issue (I didn't notice until I got home), so I am hopeful it will be an easy fix.
