Service was excellent! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming! The restaurant is very clean and comfortable! The food was amazing! I had the Miso Soup, Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna as an appetizer and I tried the Bronco and 29 Roll - both outstanding and delicious! 10/10 recommend!!

If you are hungry for some sashimi or sushi, this location is conveniently located at the Stapleton neighborhood. Got plenty of parking and if you are lucky, you can park right at the front. At the time of visit, there were plenty of tables ready but served by only one server. However, lady behind the sushi bar pitched in and things moved lot faster. Over all, ok. The sashimi dinner was ok. Some of the fish was not as fresh as other top notch place but edible. Definitely recommend lobster tempura. Great value for the money!

Surprising great find. I have tried multiple sushi places and this may become my go-to place. Saw previous reviews that it gets busy at certain times but we went in winter during the work week and good time to go. Very friendly staff from the minute you walk into the door and everyone yells hello and as you walk out as they thank you for coming. Drinks Great variety of sake. I don't know a lot about sake but the wait staff helped me pick. She recommended I start with a hot sake and switch to room temp next time. I really enjoyed it and was dry enough for my taste buds. Rolls We selected 3 rolls to share between 2 people. Just the right amount of food for 2. Would try an appetizer and less rolls next time. Rolls were very good and had nice "kick". 2 of our rolls were topped with jalapenos. Lemon Tree Roll (5 stars), Spicy Girl Roll (5 star), Hawaiian Roll (3 star). Staff So friendly and very busy. Have patience since they treat everyone with kindness and their time. What a great find.

Great environment, staff were very friendly! Got Spicy Salmon, yellowtail, 29th ave roll and Hot Girl roll. They were so good! Everything tasted high quality, would come back again

Pretty decent spot for Japanese food and sushi. The service was good and the prices were fair. We went right after lunch and barely missed out on their happy hour specials for sushi rolls. Next time I go I'll be there for lunch!

When we got there for Sunday night dinner, you can tell they were understaffed. There was a line of four people waiting to pick up their pickup order and it took us about 20 minutes, waiting in line for the hostess to acknowledge us. We finally got a table for the two of us. We ordered a bunch of sushi rolls and a bunch of Nigri. Our waitress joseline did her best but she mentioned she was new and one of the other waitresses called in sick. Anyways, it took us a long time to place our order and even longer to get our food. We also ordered edamame and even that took over 30 minutes to come out. The sushi was just ok. Again not the waitresses fault but everything took a very long time. There are better sushi places to go in Denver so I probably won't be back.

A few of us stopped in for dinner last week. The facility inside was clean, the outdoor patio area was clean and inviting as well so we opted to sit outside. We ordered miso soups, edamame appetizers and hot sake. We received all of those quickly but once we put in our sushi orders, it seemed to take ages. It didn't look insanely busy inside so we couldn't quite figure out the delay. The food came out and it was presented on a big "boat". Everything tasted pretty good but after sitting outside for 2 hours we ate quickly as we were getting cold and hadn't expected the wait. The staff were all nice and friendly here and prices were pretty decent!

Spicy crunchy tuna roll & Alaska roll

I went for lunch with low expectations. $9.99 for two rolls? In Denver? Surely, that can't be good. But much to my surprise, the sushi was fresh and tasty! I had the Alaska Roll and Spicy Crunchy Tuna roll, and enjoyed both very much. I chose the salad as my starter, and that was good too. Service could have been better and more attentive. I had to ask for napkins, more water, and my friend's miso soup 10 minutes after they'd dropped my salad. For that lunch deal though, I can't really complain. I'll for sure be back.

This is a great neighborhood sushi spot! Great sushi for reasonable prices! The staff is always kind and helpful. We usually don't have to wait for a table here and am seated right away. Their lunch happy hour deal is great!!

This place is AMAZING!! From start to finish the whole experience was nothing but exceptional. The gyoza 15/10. The rolls were all so so good. Personally I don't like tempura rolls, however, the fish in the House Roll was very fresh. The other two rolls Hot Girl roll and the Seared Salmon Tar Tar was out of this world good. Also 15/10. Came on a Friday night, not super busy and no wait or reservations needed. The service was great. The restaurant was super vibey. The lightening and decor really set the mood for some great sushi. This will be our new go-to spot for sushi. We cannot wait to come back!

I saw, from the reviews, that to come here without a reservation, you want to come right when they open. We saw a wave of people start lining up and congregating as we were parking. Luckily, we made it in the first wave of people seated. We were offered the choice to sit inside/outside. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The drinks and food came out quickly. We ordered the sake and the sake mule. Both were good! We also got 2 pieces of nigiri from Japan and it was heavenly! Other items that piqued our interest were the tuna firecracker roll, a salmon roll, and another tuna roll. Everything tasted delicious, although I was surprised by the asparagus in my rolls. I don't know that that is my favorite! We had a great experience and would love to come back.

I was in Denver to visit my friend, and I was telling her how I really liked hand rolls and so she recommended this place and it did not disappoint. We got here during happy hour when at first opened and immediately there was already a line luckily we were early so we did get seated a few minutes after arriving, and we were served relatively quickly. We got to sit at the bar and we ordered off of the happy hour menu, which was great because it had more than enough of what I wanted to try. We got several hand rolls and several of their other appetizers, but my favorite has to be their hand rolls. Their seaweed was so crispy and rolled so nicely. The rice was flavorful and their fish was so fresh. I felt like their prices were also pretty reasonable and I was more than content after having that dinner. Overall, I would put this very much on par with a place called Kazunori in LA. I heard that this restaurant has a sister restaurant called sushi Den that I heard was really good and that I will be trying out next time I'm in town. Please come try out Tamaki done if you're ever in the area the food will not disappoint. The restaurant is big with plenty indoor seating, but it will get packed and for good reasons because the food is so good!

We thought we made a mistake choosing sushi bar instead of a table because we'll have back issues. Surprisingly, the chairs had a mini back so you could lean back occasionally. And we think our experience was better because the sushi chefs would explain the origin of the fish and all the ingredients they used into each roll and order. We also got a complimentary piece for sitting at the sushi bar which was a light fried yellow tail which was so good. Service is amazing. They're attentive and check in on you often. It does take some time to get your rolls but give its time to digest. From watching the sushi chefs at the bar, they're very precise in how they make each roll. Every roll has similar proportions from the slight wasabi they use to the amount of rice and fish. Everything that we had was amazing. The hamachi and salmon sashimi felt like butter. It just melts in your mouth. The aged toro was so delicious. Even the edamame was just so good. The unagi nigiri is some of the best I've had in the state (the nigri was better than the handroll and I think it's because I love unagi so I love the ratio in nigiri form). The Spicy Tuna Oshizushi was a surprising favorite of the night along with the Crème Fresh Salmon Belly. I could've done without the wagyu but it was good. Every order does come with only 1 so order based on the amount of people that are with your party. Some items we were unsure of like the wagyu so we ordered 1 and shared a bite. Overall, I understand the hype and the reservations. But it was worth it and I'm surprised we can get high quality fish in a landlock state. Of the high end sushi restaurants in CO, Temaki Den is probably my fave.
