Jett Sushi is like my second home at this point. While I'd love to gatekeep this place, I need them around for the rest of my life! Their food is fantastic - my husband and I love the Heart Attack, the Smokey Roll, and the Spicy Mango Roll. That said, we've tried a majority of the menu and have truly never eaten anything we haven't loved. Not only is the food great, but the service is impeccable. No matter the server, they treat you like family (though like a previous review stated, David IS THE national treasure!). They have been more than willing to accommodate any requests, food allergies, taste preferences, etc. I've brought numerous family members and friends here and they have all claimed it is either the best, or one of the best sushi experiences they've ever had. Their BOGO drink deal is also such a steal and my partner is obsessed with their house sake. We typically go earlier in the day on weekends, so sometimes the projectors aren't on yet, but we do not mind a bit. Best sushi I've had along Colfax to date. Everything Jett sushi does is perfection. The spicy garlic edamame is seasoned and marinated in what can only be described as pure bliss. An order of Crab Rangoon is also a must here. Really any sushi item you order will be excellent. I ordered a couple of hand rolls that were divine. I have ordered a few times online from Jett for take-out and the orders are always ready on-time, accurate, and labeled. I have an avocado allergy, so accuracy is important with many of their menu items. On the recommendation of a friend, we always get the Crispy Tuna appetizer. It is a sushi roll with crispy rice, spicy tuna, tobiiko, and avocado (for those without an allergy). The restaurant has a clean, industrial decor and vibe, and maybe one day I will eat in instead of grabbing food to-go. read more

The real reason I'm leaving this review is for the service. The waiter is a wizard. A+, Shenshih is the name on my check. He's the most aware and attentive server I've experienced overall in any dining setting I've had in the last three years. So impressed. The food stands on its own as well. I can't say it's the biggest cuts of nigiri out there, I know it's a tricky time. But the fish is fresh, and tastes are all on point. Oof, where do I start? It should have been a red flag when there was only one server that was taking care of 7 tables, being host, bartender and working the register/carry out orders, but I figured the service would just be slow. The food LOOKED amazing but was completely underwhelming. We started with the yellowtail and jalapeño appetizer and it was covered in black pepper. I love this appetizer in general but didn't even want to finish this one. Next we ordered/received the 007 roll and house salad that comes with the beef teriyaki. The salad my bf ate, and he said the dressing tasted like mayo, and it was gobbed on all over so there was not getting around it. The 007 roll was the best thing we ordered and tasted like a normal tuna sushi roll with avocado and salmon on top. Finally our entrees arrived after waiting about 30 minutes. His ramen was the most bland thing I have ever tasted. I felt terrible that that was his meal and offered to share mine which was slightly better. The beef teriyaki was served with lots of different veggies but only one piece of broccoli? Why bother even putting it in there if it's a single piece? The meat wasn't tender at all and the sauce one note. The server came back to check on us during the meal but then took forever to bring the check and then to process it. We had to flag her down so we could leave. All in all, I wouldn't come back or recommend. read more

Driven by this place before and you can see that the inside of the restaurant is truly unique. They have animated videography of underwater sea life playing throughout the restaurant on the walls. It makes super fun and unique experience. We started off ordering a drink from their BOGO free special. You could choose from traditional Japanese beers or their house sake. Already off to a great start. We got the Takoyaki for an appetizer, which is truly one of my personal favorites. My gf and I love trying Takoyaki at every restaurant we try. It was in itself 10/10. Next we got a simple Alaskan roll and the Spider roll. The spider roll was unique and had lots of different texture and great flavors. I would totally get the Spider roll again. We found ourselves still hungry and ordered another roll that was different for us both to try called the Ruby. It was good and fun to try but not our personal favorite. The service was great. Ordered for the first time this week via Grub Hub and will order from here again. Really need to find out if they offer their own delivery options as the grub hub fees make it so can order take out less than we would like. We had an awesome meal here last night! Spicy tuna roll, blue crab roll (a special), a yellowtail roll and two 2-piece rolls to try: eel and yellowtail. The eel was incredible! So were the spicy tuna and blue crab rolls. They had a buy one get one free on beers and saki so we also partook there. The service was exceptional and the presentation of the sushi (with dry ice) was way more than we expected! I can't wait to go back! And the nicest surprise, we got our nigiri and rolls a sushi boat, complete with dry ice fog. Our server was super nice. Tried Jett recently, went back to verify my impression. This place is a hidden gem! David and Four are extremely knowledgeable and professional servers. The food is fresh, the chef is terrific, and the pricing is very reasonable. The yellowtail collar is a standout, but every one of the six items we tried was refined and delicious. Decor: there is a cool project onto the walls that is like moving art. Food: the sushi and sashimi are good. I love that you can change from white rice to brown. At little healthier option as it takes longer for your body to break down and spike your blood sugar. I also like their chicken teriyaki. Service: their staff could not be more friendly. They also order the Udon, Dumplings and we shared Crab Ragoon as appetizers. One of my friend, he opt for a beer as part of his beverages. Literally Jett Asian is EMPTY. It could be good to some. At least I could have a proper conversation with my friends without rushing. The service was a missed that evening. We have to flag our main server several times. *DOUBLE SIGH* Street parking is available since this establishment is located along COLFAX. Maybe we went on a "bad" day.
