Simply put this is the best breakfast spot the Tri-City area. The food is great, the portions are large and the service there couldn't be better. I don't think that I have ever had anything there that wasn't first-rate. They also have a selection of homemade pies that are out of this world! Had lunch here a few weeks ago. I had the double cheeseburger and it was far bigger than expected. The breakfast is OK here but all the other meals are frozen food. There absolutely zero fresh ingredients at this place.For breakfast they take frozen potato patties cook them and then chop them up randomly and throw them on your plate you're just nasty. I realize that most hashbrowns are frozen and that's fine but these are the patties like you get at McDonald's they cook them then they chop them up weird. read more

On every trip to Prescott, we leave plenty of room for breakfast or lunch here. Great food and they don't skimp. Home-fries with Onions (you gotta ask for them) are to die for. So I whimper and they take pity. We go up Sat AM generally and have never encountered "the line". That must come from clean living-? Nothing to speak of regarding the architecture or the interior decorations, but I went in hungry, left happily stuffed! - total bill about seven bucks. Can't beat it! Just a nice country side ma-n-pa kinda place, very pleasant and efficient servers, very tasty food - and lots of it. I love this place which is within walking distance. The food is great and plentiful. I ordered one of their "egg specials" with bacon and biscuits and gravy. I swear there must have been 10 slices of bacon in the order and the "side order" of biscuits and gravy put most other places full-size order to shame. A delicious find. We went here for breakfast with Friends. Best service and breakfast ever. Perfect over easy eggs, generous crispy on the outside and moist on the inside hash browns best we have ever had, bacon cooked to perfection and not just 2 pieces must have been 5, wonderful seasoned gravy. Sadly, and after reading and hearing rave reviews about Blue Hills Cafe, we had a very negative experience. On our way home from picking my daughter up from airport, we just wanted a quick early dinner. The 3 of us ordered grilled chicken, and each of us practically spit it out after the first bite!! It tasted like fake, rubbery, "presto" chicken! Not only that, when my daughter asked if the vegetables were steamed, the young lady server replied, "no, they're from a can". When she came back to ask how everything was, and we said the chicken was unpalatable, her only reply was, " oh I know!" CRAZY!! No offer to get us something else, no manager to talk to. When we went to pay the bill the cashier's only reply to our dissatisfaction was, "I'm sorry". Won't be going back there. Bad customer service and why would we be paying for a can of vegetables, which was probably 3 times more than a can we would by at Safeway?!! Very disappointing! read more

We've tried this place twice. The first time, the food and service was ok with one exception- the woman at the counter taking payments was extremely rude. This is why it took us more than a year to return. Just last week we tried it again, and although our waitress was friendly, she was not helpful when we pointed out an item from our order was missing, she didn't offer to correct the problem. And here's my biggest complaint- how is it ok to test the temperature of hot water by sticking your finger in it? This is what she did when my granddaughter ordered a cup of hot tea! We received no refills while we were there and the check was brought to us without being totaled. As for the food, it is pretty plain, I'd say mediocre at best. read more

Reasonable prices, friendly wait staff and great breakfast. They consistently make the best biscuits and gravy I've had and its a good size portion. I'm a biscuit and gravy lover from way back so I know what I'm talking about. My husband swears by the ham and cheddar omelet.
