First time here! Wanted lunch, but came at 10:45 am...asked server if it was too early for lunch...she said no problem, we could order lunch! YAY! Ordered a cheeseburger and seasoned fries and a BLT on toasted sourdough with regular fries. Everything was awesome and at a reasonable price! Love that they're opened from 6am - 9 pm! The café is a quaint old style café. No military or senior discounts offered. You can sit anywhere because the staff does not escort you to seats or booths. Nice menu and choices. However, it seems like a cold atmosphere in the restaurant. The cashier did not once look up and smile as she took our money. Nor did she thank us for our business. Considering I drive a truck here locally I always drive by and see the parking lot full. That's a good sign... Today was the first day we stopped in and had a great meal for breakfast. It was good, had the bacon cheese omelette with green chilies and it was really tasty. Fairly comfortable, place got busy pretty quick, but everybody was real helpful and was right on top of things. Prices were fair and nothing to complain about! Definitely the HomeTown breakfast stop of the area!. read more

Wanted to try a "little hole in the wall" place as they are usually the best places to go. This place did not disappoint. Very good food and friendly atmosphere. Had lunch and it was delicious. Will be going back next time to try out their breakfasts. Everything we saw looked good. read more

Moved to Dewey about 6 weeks ago, and lost count how many times we've been to the Blue Hills Cafe to eat. 2 to 3 times a week seems to be our pattern. Good food, good portions, and good service. The staff is working their tails off usually, so I don't blame them if they can't chit-chat sometimes. My only suggestion would be to come up with a way for people to order take-out. When it's busy, the phone will ring continuously, which is a bit annoying. Not a deal breaker though, we'll be back in a day or so. read more

We went here last night for the fish fry. The food was great and had huge portions to begin with, which also happened to be all you can eat. Unfortunately the service was awful! It's "all you can eat" if you can manage to find your server again! She dropped off our food and we never saw her again.. we flagged down the hostess to get more fish. She never came to back to check on our table, yet she managed to stop by every other table in the restaurant. After we finished, we went to the counter to pay.. never saw our server.. read more

This small local diner in Prescott Country Club is a local hang out. Friday nights are packed for their fish specials. I've eaten there maybe a dozen times since I live like 1 mile from them. They are an ok, blue plate greasy spoon diner with just ok food. Frozen pies, and Sysco burgers. I've heard their breakfast is good, but never tried. If you see it, keep on driving and smile. Stop in at Leftys about 1/2 mile east for best food in Prescott. read more

Been going here for a few years for breakfast and have never left disappointed. Can get pretty busy during weekend mornings, as expected, but usually the wait time is not long and you get seated rather quickly. The breakfast specials are cheap in price, but you get a lot of food. So much in fact, I usually can't finish it all. We stopped here for lunch on a trip from Phoenix to Prescott. The food was well priced and exactly what we expected from a place like that. However, the water and soda was awful. It was completely disgusting and tasted like it was contaminated with like a lubricant or solvent of some kind. It's rough trying to eat a diner lunch without so much as a sip of water. To top it off, the service wasn't great. We were going to order the kids ice cream, but we couldn't get the waitress to come back. She (very discretely) dropped the bill of and then disappeared. We ended up getting ice cream elsewhere. read more

For what this place is, it's pretty good. It's diner food. Very "local" feeling. Great for breakfast in an area where there aren't many options for good food. Quick and easy and accommodating when it comes to customizing eggs and breakfast items for dietary needs. Nothing fancy, but friendly staff. read more

I've only had one thing here and it's all I get. The double mexi buger is to die for and since I've found it there's no need to try anything else. The portion is generous and the burger is juicy. Servers are nice and I will definitely come back. read more

Been checking out local Fish Frys on Friday nights and by far this one has been the best so far in the tri city area. Scorching hot fish and the choice between cod and/or catfish. It was a great change to see a variety of fish instead of just cod. Great hometown atmosphere and great fast service, will be going back soon. They also have great breakfast as well read more

They are always packed BUT that to me personally shows it is a great place. VERY good priced and the staff is always pleasant. The wife and I absolutely love this place. We were driving through dewey one day & decided to stop in for lunch. We'd never heard of this place before. We were pleasantly surprised with it. The service was good.. but the food was delicious. It was actually quite fantastic. The menu had lots of options and the quality of the food was far above your average diner type food. Tried this place for the first time on our way out of town this morning and the entire group agreed... This cafe is THE perfect local spot to eat breakfast after running Whiskey Basin followed by a little late night fun on Whiskey Row. Friendly and genuine staff with more than reasonable prices and so much good, home style food. French toast, bacon, eggs, hash browns, country fried chicken and pork tenderloin with biscuits and gravy! The portions are pretty big so be prepared, when you order bacon, you get a pile of it. I was a little disappointed in the hashbrowns, it was a grocery store style instead of fresh cut potatoes, they still tasted very good. I ordered the pancakes, biscuit and gravy and hashbrowns and ate nearly everything, it was just too much for me. read more

Keep biscuit. Do away with the horrible seasoning in the breakfast potatoes. Bacon under cooked. Potato hash browns burned outside raw inside. Keep pork fritter. Use or grease or oil for potato's. Do QA on food before serving. read more
