I am documenting my experience with Blue Line Pest police and its owner, Travis, to ensure an accurate and complete account of the situation.
Following my brief anonymous post in a local Facebook group, which only mentioned my experience and concerns regarding services that did not resolve the issue, the owner publicly responded with statements about me that were inaccurate and unfounded. He has demonstrated a pattern of publicly attacking customers who share negative experiences and has no hesitation in attempting to discredit individuals who voice concerns.
During direct interactions, his communication was inconsistent. He spoke respectfully to my husband and agreed to speak with me to understand why I was upset. However, he later went back on that approach and again made public statements that misrepresented the situation.
Specifically, the owner later claimed that he was speaking with my husband when I came out of the home aggressively and caused him to leave. This statement is not accurate. Earlier that same day, he told my husband that he had already left without speaking to him because he felt that the two of us might "gang up" on him.
The information I provided during the initial visit was accurate at all times. I did not misrepresent the situation in any way.
The owner was sent to my home to identify how wasps were entering the property and to address the issue. That assessment was not completed. Instead, I was met with dismissive and unprofessional remarks, including being told that I had "moved to the wrong state" and that wasps living inside homes is simply something that happens. This response did not address the service concern and was inappropriate for the situation.
The seriousness of the issue was also not fully acknowledged. Both my seven-year-old daughter and I have documented allergies to wasp stings. A sting would require immediate use of an EpiPen and likely emergency medical care. Due to my existing heart condition, this presents a significant medical risk and is not a minor inconvenience.
Pest control services had already been prepaid as part of the property agreement through rent. I expected a professional evaluation and resolution of a legitimate safety concern. Instead, the issue was left unresolved, and due to the severity of the infestation, I was forced to leave the home with my child for our safety.
The property was later confirmed to have three different species of wasps. Two of the three species and their nests have since been removed, including nests that I specifically identified during the initial visit.
This situation could have been addressed promptly had the concerns been taken seriously from the beginning. The lack of appropriate action resulted in unnecessary disruption and displacement for my family.
Additionally, the owner has publicly stated that he was simply defending his company because it supports his family. While I understand the importance of a business owner's livelihood, the safety risk created by leaving a hazardous pest issue unaddressed also placed my child and me in potential danger. That impact was not acknowledged.
I am sharing this statement to ensure an accurate record of events and to allow others to make informed decisions when considering pest control services in the Midlothian, Texas area. read more
