One of my favorite karaoke spots. Bartender and KJ are awesome. The crowd gets a bit much for me on Friday nights.

I've come multiple times, solo, and with friends, and I've never had a bad experience. The service has always been consistent in the way that this establishment always take care of their guests. Every guest around you is always having a good time. This is a key component that you want to experience in a restaurant setting. Masha took care of me today (and multiple other customers at the same time.) I observed and received nothing short of what is expected in a restaurant setting in Mountain View on Castro Street: Quality service, and great suggestions. I think guests sometimes overlook the novelty of being able to enjoy your time in the establishment you choose to dine at. Folks seem to be in such a rush these days. It's nice to slow down and enjoy the sunshine and hustle/bustle of the world around while enjoying a quality meal and some sunshine or indoors while letting the wind sweep your table top. P.s. if you ever have some issues with your experience--talk to the staff. Don't leave a low quality yelp review. It doesn't help anything besides, perhaps, one's self esteem.

Fun beer garden with a nice outdoor area, a popcorn machine, Happy Hours, and trivia on Wednesdays!…read moreI arrived with my gal pal during happy hour to snack on some bites and have a beer. It was a sunny day and the weather was beautiful (but slightly hot), luckily we got a table as there were reserved seats around us. For happy hour, we got their happy hour sampler which included, 2 spaetzle cheese balls, a pretzel with sweet mustard, pickled veggies, and a cheese sausage/brat wrapped in pastry dough. We also ordered some jager fries (fries with mushroom gravy/jager sauce, cheese, and green onions). The wrapped sausage was the standout! We also ordered two half liter beers - I love the selection of German beers and local beers. This being a biergarten, of course we went German. Overall, a beautiful way to spend an afternoon! I would definitely try non-happy hour menu items and try to make my way down their beer list.

Classy restaurant with really lovely outdoor seating…read more We came on a Thursday evening and there was no wait. Less than half the restaurant was full. The weather was good, so we sat in the back patio and it was so nice. I ordered the Dungeness crab fettuccine and it was really well made, but a little too salty for me (although I'm very sensitive to salt so it's probably not too salty for the average diner). My husband ordered the short ribs. He enjoyed his dish but wished there were some vegetables in it. My favorite part was the complimentary bread. So warm and delicious. We came for my husband's birthday, so they actually prepared a small piece of chocolate mousse cake with candle for him after our meal, which was a nice surprise! It was very good--not too sweet. Service was also excellent. Gratuity is already included into your bill, and they're kind enough to remind you of it when giving you the check.

Ordered salmon on the side which was cooked and salted well. *Fettuccini Carbonara(9/10)- Served with pancetta, English green peas, and mushrooms in a white cream sauce. Pasta was fresh with perfect amount of sauce ratio. A lot great of texture and the meat added some saltiness to the dish. It does have too much mushroom for my preference *Sausage & Honey Flatbread(8.7/10)- Tomato sauce, homemade Italian sausage, serrano peppers, mascarpone. *Fortaleza Repo Winter Blend Margarita (8.8/10)- drink was delicious. Tequila was definitely spot on and is high quality. However it's mostly ice and definitely not worth $55 Ambience: restaurant is very elegant and clean. A bar on the back. Great for special occasions. Offers both indoor and outdoor options. Service: Great service. Servers were attentive, gives recommendations, and communicates with you at a personal level. Price: Expensive. Be aware that there's a 20% gratuity already Parking: plenty of parking in the front

We were staying at this hotel and decided to have dinner at Broma…read more Skirt Steak - Nicely cooked with a flavorful chimichurri sauce that added a fresh balance. Sherry Braised Pork Shank - The meat was tender and easily pulled off the bone, and the polenta it came with was rich and perfectly creamy. Smoked Salmon & Caviar - A bit too salty for my taste, so this one didn't quite hit compared to the others. The meat dishes were definitely worth it, especially with the generous portions. Overall, a good dinner option if you're in the area or staying nearby -- not necessarily a destination spot, but an easy choice.

I tried calling to share feedback, but they did not answer which I feel is important to note…read more We don't mind paying for a quality experience--especially for special occasions--which is why we chose Broma to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, we left regretting that decision. From the start, the experience felt unwelcoming when we were seated with our 3-year-old daughter. There was no single overtly disrespectful moment, but the overall tone and repeated small interactions made us feel like we were being judged for having a child with us. At one point, when our daughter accidentally dropped her fork while playing, the reaction we received came across as frustration, which added to that feeling. We understand not every restaurant is designed for young children, but Broma presents itself as a place for friends and family. Instead, we felt like we had to constantly manage and overcorrect normal toddler behavior, which created stress and took away from what should have been a special occasion. Because of that, we didn't feel comfortable raising concerns during the meal when the server checked in--we were more focused on getting through the experience without drawing additional attention. We were also offered an off-menu item without any mention of price. The menu we were given did not list the smash burger, so when I ordered a double, I had no context for the cost. The final price was a surprise, and we would have made a different decision with that information upfront. The food itself did not match the price point. The "smash burger" was not prepared in the style typically expected, and overall the meal felt underwhelming for the cost. Lastly, the billing was confusing. The paper receipt listed "gratuity," while the digital receipt labeled the same charge as a "service charge," making it unclear whether an additional tip was expected. That lack of clarity does not align with the level of transparency expected at this price point. We don't mind paying for a great experience, especially for meaningful occasions, but this visit did not meet that standard and ultimately left us regretting our choice to celebrate here.

Cocktails here are $19-22 so you'll likely pay $8-10 out of pocket anyway so the coupon is fairly useless. It's just how they charge a premium for nice hotels. I got the Smarter Than Your Average Pear which was pretty delicious - a bit sweet yet strong. It's pisco based and I haven't had a pisco cocktail that is not a pisco sour, so this was a nice change of things. They also tack on a 20% service charge which I'm never a fan of unless they provide outstanding service, which they didn't. They refilled water a few times but not consistent enough to justify this service charge, which is why I took a star off

The Hamachi Crudo was fresh and came with a unique bubble sauce that added a fun and flavorful touch.

They do have a full bar which is pretty uncommon for Chinese restaurants There is also a lunch special. I'd say dishes are basically 20$ which isn't cheap. Overall solid American Chinese spot that is maybe more akin to pf Chang's but with more authenticity and some authentic staples. Execution is solid but wouldn't make a detour or anything to try again

Parking: as others mention, there are only 2 spaces in front on San Antonio Road, I didn't know they had a back lot. It's on the same block as Chef Chu. Luckily there wasn't much traffic so I was able to back in which made leaving easy. Ambiance: nice. It was a bit warm waiting for my takeout order, they had the front door open. They also have a nice outdoor covered patio eating area in front, see the photo. Service: when I entered there were no other customers, only a bartender who didn't acknowledge me. I was about to yell out but Mariana (the name on my receipt) appeared and took my order. Food: Chile Relleno plate w black beans, rice, a small bag of fresh tortilla chips, and two kinds of mildly spicy salsa. The Poblano pepper was stuffed w cheese and had a tasty egg batter, covered w a red salsa like sauce. It was quickly devoured! Price: $17 + $1.55 tax + tip. Chile Relleno by itself is $10 I think. I would return to try other items. I had a hankering for a good Chile Relleno and was satisfied!
