I ordered the Drunken Fried Rice and the Amazing Wings, and both dishes delivered flavors so deep and succulent they could only be compared to something crafted by angels. The wings were perfectly seasoned, juicy, and addictive. The fried rice had layers of flavor that hit you one after another. By the time I finished, I felt like I had just met the new love of my life. This restaurant is a hidden jewel. If you haven't dined here yet, you're denying yourself a truly legendary experience. This little store front Thai place hits all the boxes. It's so clean and inviting to walk into, and the food is more of the same. The workers bring the food out and they check on you but it isn't a "table service" restaurant. You order from the counter and then just wait for the great food to come to you. The Penang was delicious and the dumplings were definitely made in house and are unique to this place. My daughter had Pad Thai, and I tasted it as well...it was one of the best Pad Thai dishes I have ever had. I'll go up on the heat next time though. Just did a 1. Service was excellent, but food felt short. The spring rolls were delicious and that's about it. My pad beef Thai smelled like a wet dog, beef lacked flavor. My husband's drunken noodles were overcooked with 2 big chucks on of Tomatoe in it. The establishment is beautiful and well decorated, but if I'm going to spend $12-$15 on a meal at lunch, I expect actual plates not plastic to-go containers. I don't often leave reviews, but I felt it was important to share my thoughts on Blue Mint in Midlothian. I first tried their Pad Thai a while back in Mansfield and was underwhelmed, so I decided to give them another shot to see if there had been any improvements. Pad Thai is a dish that should shine with a balance of flavors, and unfortunately, the experience fell short again. We ordered two Pad Thai dishes and found them to be a bit lacking. While they are generous with the noodles, they could greatly benefit from enhancing the flavor and sauce. With so many noodles, it's crucial to have enough sauce to create that signature taste, as they tend to absorb it. Additionally, the protein portions--specifically the tofu and chicken--felt a bit sparse. A better balance of ingredients would really elevate the dish. I also found the raw bean sprouts a bit confusing; perhaps lightly cooking them with the noodles would enhance their flavor and texture. While I appreciate their efforts to cater to a diverse audience, I believe there's room for improvement, especially if they aim to be considered among the best in DFW. For those who prefer authentic flavors, it might be worth looking elsewhere for a truly great Pad Thai. Overall, I'd love to see Blue Mint refine their recipes to better satisfy all palates in the future. P.S. My son just told me that the microwaveable Pad Thai at Costco is a lot better. read more

I'd like to start by saying the service was great! They have lots of menus up so if they're busy you can choose what you'd like before you go to order if there's a big line. They stayed pretty steadily busy the whole time we were there and all servers were really nice! That being said the food fell short. We've heard lots of good things about this restaurant we all tried to order different things to sample around. We loved Blue Mint in Mansfield but this location, especially since the advertising of being a partner of the Rangers is not the same. Blue Min Thai is a gem! Flavors are great and keeps you wanting more. We started off with the Blue Mint Sampler. You can pick 3 of the appetizers and we selected: crab rangoons, crispy spring rolls, and fried dumplings. For the entree I had the orange chicken with steamed rice. Everything was filled with flavor, colorful and freshly made. Portions were so filling that I had to take home leftovers and they were just as great the next day! Staff is super friendly, and service is quick. The atmosphere is chill, inviting, and stylish. Parking is easy so it helps during a quick lunch break. Definitely coming back! Tried this place on 5/18/25 for takeout as it was Sunday and full of people. The sampler appetizer we had was fantastic. My wife and I ordered the pad thi took one bite of our dishes and at the same time spit the food back into our to go containers. The pad thi tasted like we had just taken a big bite out of the belly of a raw fish. We unfortunately had to throw 30 dollars worth of food strait into the trash. We had the Blue Thi in Mansfield and it was absolutely amazing!! Midlothian is more of a fast food, sit down hybrid and the food we ordered was absolutely not the same as our previous visit at another location. The food not so good, way far to be as good as the Mansfield location. Always under or over seasoned, noodles taste like they added sugar, plates with almost no veggies.
