Finally, I don't have to go far to get some good seafood, GPS literally says 8 mins from my house and then only 4 mins from my job, AMEN!!! I absolutely love how versatile and flexible their menu is . Unlike many seafood restaurants, this place offers half pound orders on your favorite seafood items (king crabs, blue crabs, snow crabs, Dungeness crabs, shrimp head on or off, crawfish , green and black mussels, clams , scallops and lobster tails) , and the option of being able to build your own seafood boil to your likely for a very very reasonable price. I also appreciate that their daily specials , can be ordered on any day of the week, example: if you are visiting on a Monday , you're still able to order the Thursday special and many restaurants don't allow that. Customer service was miraculous, from the servers all the way up the owners . The owner or who looks and seems to be the owner, was so hands on and involved , making sure to meet his guest at the door , walking around checking on each table , delivering food himself and that was a great thing to see and experience. I don't recall our servers name , but I do recall her being pregnant if that helps any. She was FANTASTIC, so helpful with the menu and just had an amazing personality/ customer service. Food was good, fresh and hot . The garlic noodles are to die for. I chose to build my own boil, and they did not disappoint me at all. Both my daughters had ordered the Wednesday special (1 lb of shrimp no head , half a pound of snow crab legs , 1 corn and 2 potato's ) but accidentally received the Tuesday special that had all the same things as the Wednesday special plus crawfish. They apologized for mix up and allowed us to keep what they sent out but did also offered to remake it all if my girls weren't fans of crawfish. Big win to me , I ate the crawfish for them lol .. seasoning was on point and spicy levels actually matched their descriptions. Mild was mild and hot was HOT. Restaurant was clean, neatly set up , and spacious with plenty of room for larger parties. I recently picked up a small togo order (garlic noodles and the fried cat fish plate ) , and they were really packed in the inside with many people still pulling up and walking in, and I was so glad to see it because they truly deserve it. I loved that you can customize it by choosing your preferred seasoning and spice level, making it perfect for your taste. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and cooked just right. Let me start with every employee here was so kind, our server I didn't catch his name but he was so attentive to us and explained everything on the menu! The service was very bad. The restaurant was not crowded and there were plenty of tables. They put our party of five on a table for four. We asked for a larger table and were told that five people were not allowed to sit at a 6-person table. We grabbed a chair from the 6-person table so that we'd all have a seat at our 4-person table, effectively turning that 6-person table into a 5-person table. They eventually added another chair to the 6-person table but nobody ever sat there during our time. As we were waiting at the beginning, a man on the table behind us asked for the manager. His complaint included that his food did not arrive until his wife was finished eating and that half the staff were watching The World Cup instead of working to serve customers. He also mentioned that this was the worst service he had ever experienced. The five of us ordered 9 different dishes that arrived separately over time. I think it was 6 separate deliveries. My first food delivery was a side of red new potatoes. They arrived but with no eating utensil. The server walked off as if I was supposed to eat with my hands. The server finally came back so I got the chance to ask for a fork. She agreed to bring me one. I timed it this time. Almost 6 minutes passed as my potatoes were getting cold and I still had no eating utensils and neither did another person who had finally received a portion of her order. I got up and went to another employee to ask what the procedure is to get eating utensils. That employee was a good one so she went to the back and I had a plastic fork in about a minute or two. That was soon followed by a real fork. They explained that they had finally gotten the real forks washed. Keep in mind that there were many empty tables so clean forks should not have been rare. Perhaps the employees watching The World Cup were the ones who were supposed to be washing dishes but I don't know. My second order finally came: Gumbo. Yes it did indeed come with a spoon - - - but: I don't know if the gumbo was Campbell's Canned Chicken Gumbo with some shrimp and some kind of sausage added but that is exactly what it looked and tasted like. For sure the little cubes of chicken must have come out of a can based on the look and taste. Other people said their food was good so my warning is for people to not order the gumbo. If you want that flavor, it's cheaper from Walmart. You can find it in the soup aisle. If you want this food, the seafood is supposed to be very good. The manager told us the food coming out one at a time was a problem caused by a new employee in the kitchen and a huge load of To Go orders. A huge order of To Go and a non-crowded restaurant on a Saturday night might indicate that a lot of people like the food but have already learned that it's better as a To Go thing since they have clean forks in their own kitchens. If you want To Go gumbo, just get Walmart to deliver you a can of Campbell's via a drone. read more

The legendary special came with so much food i had leftovers for the next day, that special can easily feed 4 people! Spice level hot has the perfect amount of heat for this boil but, if jalapeños are very spicy for you i wouldn't recommend this spice level. Extra hot is delicious as well and has quite a kick especially when the potatoes are soaking up all the flavor on the bottom of the bag! Where do I even begin. If you enjoy the thrill of waiting an hour for fries that have clearly lived three lives, cooked, abandoned, and resurrected in a fryer to fake freshness, then congratulations, you've found your spot. As a consolation prize for the wait, our server handed out guava candies like we were trick-or-treating, which honestly was the highlight of the meal. When the food finally arrived, half of it was wrong. We pointed this out, and our server responded with what I can only describe as theatrical skepticism: cross-referencing her notepad, staring at the table, making more faces than a mime. She eventually confirmed at the POS that she'd entered it correctly (sure), and the resolution? They removed shrimp from a plate and sent the same food right back out. Not new food. The same food, de-shrimped. First visit. Last visit. And we live minutes away, which makes this sting just a little more. When I paid with my card it gave me the option to leave a tip which I didn't. What I didn't realize was that they added a $33 tip for a pick up order! I did build your own because none of the combos had exactly what I wanted- 1 lb crab legs and sausage. I could've gone for the shrimp too but wanted a whole pound of crab legs more than anything. The food was cold the server was rude. Food took almost an hour and server gave us candy to hold us over. It was loud. Not peaceful at all.

So .... Decided to try this new spot. We were sat down pretty quickly and greeted by friendly staff. Took our drink order and ordered calamari appetizer. Bo ordered the shrimp basket. While we were waiting for our food to arrive, we noticed alot of tables that were there before us still had not received their food. Uh oh. What does this mean for us? After a 20 minute wait, only my food came out--leaving my Honey and Bo watching me eat until their food came out another 20 minutes after mine!!! Our food should have come out at the same time. The wait time for food was wayyyy too long . I believe these other reviews here on this place are fake that claim service was FAST, when clearly from tonight's experience , was not. My food was very flavorful and delicious ! Honey was disappointed in the size of the fish. Supposed to get 2pc fried catfish, 4 shrimps and fries. The fish appeared to be 1 fillet cut in half. Shrimp was a good size, but the meal lacked flavor. Honey had to dip his food in the delicious sauce in my meal! We had to ask for ketchup for their fries. Bo's fries were hot and delicious . As we were about to almost finished eating, a worker tried to deliver us our food... again.... Bo went to go ask the lady at the register for our ticket as we had been waiting for that too long as well. She ran over to tell our server, Bryce, something and he came to our table and asked did we need something. Wait . What? You mean she didn't tell him that we needed our ticket? So when Bryce came to our table he had to go back to where he just came from to go get our ticket! It is apparent , the staff needs to learn how to do things---smart, instead of senseless. The kitchen has some issues. Our take on this new place is that we will give them more time to improve of their kitchen service and the ridiculous wait time. The sauce was amazing. Food needs more flavor and portions need to be checked for what we are paying. Our bill without the tip was $84. The owner went around to visit and chat with all the tables except ours. He needs work on not being scared of Us. Our money is just as green as everyone else's. We will give this place some time to figure things out before we try to come back. Honestly, I was very surprised for how good the seafood boil was. We had the Cajun sauce with mild heat and it was a unique flavor that was enjoyable. We went on a Friday night and it was packed so service took a little longer than expected but the staff stayed on top of everything. I really wanted to try their hush puppies as an appetizer but due to fryer issues we never received them before the boil came out. However it wasn't the end of the world since we had plenty of seafood boil. The crab and shrimp were cooked perfectly. It seemed like the mussels were a little dirty and the lobster was sadly over cooked causing it to be rubbery. Overall, the experience and food were still worth it. The service was really good, our young lady server was really nice, polite and friendly, we ordered the appetizer fried calamari and the quantity was small, but according to my husband it was delicious, I couldn't eat it due to stomach sensitivity to certain spicy spices and certain peppers so I was only able to eat 1 piece of the calamari, and it was flavorful. I ordered the crab legs and supposedly 1/2-pound lobster tail. When served, it looked to be no larger than a prong. The crab legs were nowhere near 1 pound.
