This review is for their chocolate candies only. Went here for baked goods in the morning, and they had almost no options. Got a few different chocolate candies, as there was barely anything on display, otherwise. We tried a bite of everything, and nothing tasted like chocolate. Was like wax. No sweetness and zero chocolate flavor. The smell was super odd too. We both agree their chocolate smells like chow mein. I thought it, but didn'tsay it, and told him to smell, then tell me what it smelled like, and his eyes got all wide and confused and he said "chos mein!" Wtf?!". I have mixed feelings about this place. It's a super cute cafe has a lot of nice items for sale from other vendors (candles, jewelry, cards, etc.). It's also pretty spacious and there are plenty of tables for dining in. As of today, there menu isn't on their website so check the photos on Yelp to see their food offerings. We ended up going there daily for breakfast when we were in town. Noah took our order at the counter yesterday and he was very friendly, but otherwise I got the sense they were very busy and that took a toll on their level of service. Both times I went we waited about 10-15 minutes for our coffees and pastries, so if you're in a rush I would keep that in mind. While it suffered (got cold) with some travel, the avo toast itself tasted good but I found the sides lackluster. The cinnamon roll unfortunately was not the best I've ever had. It also seems that their coffee drinks run very sweet if you request any flavors, and that's coming from someone that likes drinks on the sweeter side. read more

Service was fine. Chai tea was not good. There was undisolved grit at the bottom of all three cups. It tasted watered down. The mocha was also not yummy. Barely any chocolate flavor and tasted watered down as well. If it tasted better it might justify the 7.50 price tag, but it didn't. This is the second time I've tried them but I wont be come back. read more

For all my truckers this is in the same parking lot as dollar general. The lady at the counter was really nice. I ordered the bacon breakfast burrito and for what I paid it was worth it but I give it 3 stars because it had no cheese and I would've preferred a tad bit more flavoring to the potatoes or eggs. We were in town staying at the Walker Mansion Inn, which is just around the corner & wanted some coffee before going back home. The Inn had business cards for this place so we decided to give it a try & boy are we glad we did. This place was so amazing! They have a unique selection of coffees that puts Starbucks to shame! I had a peanut butter frappe with chocolate & it was incredible! It was like drinking a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup! I know, it sounds gross but it was REALLY good! For those of you like my husband who doesn't like his coffee to taste like dessert like I do, they also have some amazing regular coffee that you can add pretty much anything to or drink it plain They also sell a brand of coffee beans called Black Rifel Coffee that is made by veterans which is is pretty epic! They will even grind the beans for you to whatever grind you want. We of course couldn't leave without some yummies so we got one of their enormous brownies & a humongous cookie dough chip cookie! In addition to the awesome coffee & treats, this place offers free WiFi & has a "come & stay a while" atmosphere. Tons of magazines & books to read as well as a giant checker board in case you feel up to a game. Come check it out! read more

This place is super great!!! We stopped by for a quick breakfast and ended up staying there for almost 2 hours. I felt like I was inside a small town Starbucks mixed with the coffe shop from Friends. It's just adorable!! The hot chocolate is deliiiicious and the Brazilian coffee.. out of this world!! They have books, games, TV, good music playing, a snake (not kidding lol), and a super cute decoration that makes you want to check the place out for quite a while!! I'm just super glad that I ended up here for my breakfast and got to see this very cute coffee place in this amazing little town. They definitely did an excellent job here :) read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Their coffee is horrible and pastries are, well I dont know what they are lol horrible is an understatement I didn't even finish it. The pace is messy too. The bathroom smells horrible and needs maintenance. Their covid guidelines are a joke. No one wears masks. I only tried this place because it looks cute. Thats my fault for Going by looks because they can be deceiving thats for sure. There was no Customer serive. The lady, infact never smiled or greeted anyone. We love planning our trips around getting coffee at Blue Ox. Love their americanos. They have a great selection of coffee beans as well.

We are not coffee drinkers, but they offer many non coffee drinks as well, slushes and boba teas are enjoyed by my kids. They have an amazing baker that creates very yummy treats and pies. My husband has been drooling over their pastrami sandwich. And the workers are kind and welcoming. The space is great for teens and school aged kids as well to safely and spatially gather. read more

Sometimes the coffee is excellent sometimes it's a little burnt tasting, and it's always too hot to drink (3rd degree burn latte) unless you ask for it otherwise. read more

I am excited to have a new business in town! I have visited a couple of times so far and I am impressed. It is roomy, comfortable and the owners are super friendly and inviting. The coffee has been great and I have personally tried the quiche which was delicious. Friends have tried the quiche and breakfast sandwiches and enjoyed them, and the prices seem fair. Ever since quarantine restrictions have been placed, they haven't followed the policies put in place. Their employees weren't wearing masks or gloves, and they leave their food out in the open, uncovered, which even normal cdc guidelines call for. They don't have customer service, no "welcome" or "good morning" or "we'll be right with you" they just left us hanging. They never smiled or had any courtesies, so that was kind of a bummer, because I've also been in food service. It's #1 to make your customer feel welcome. On top of.... Each time I go in to get a drink, it's not made right, and I go to A LOT of coffee houses, and see how they all make the drinks. This time, I asked for a latte. Simple, right? Nope. Apparently not simple enough. He gave me a iced coffee instead and told me "we've never steamed our milk here" when it's an iced latte. Espresso shot, steamed milk, and ice. He didn't ask to remake it, he didn't have any customer service skills anytime during my visit. For almost $5, I got an iced coffee with farrr too much sugar syrup, I could lose teeth (but it's alright now, it's now two ice coffees I can actually drink! Lol) Anyways.... If you're used to Dutch Bros, Starbucks, Pete's Coffee or Coffee Station in Chester, CA, don't assume anything with their drinks, ask all the questions, even if they seem stupid. If you expect the drink that you want on the menu, you've gotta specify, or just get drip coffee. read more

I absolutely love this place! Can't wait to go back. Seriously, so much Westwood Small Town Pride. And whoever did the artwork on the walls deserves a huge shout out. I ordered a mocha and Fernando really wanted to make sure I got what I wanted, made it with hot cocoa powder so I didn't get that dark chocolate taste.
