blue saigon is a Pittsburg favorite, and they got some of the best food. this last time i tried my favorite: garlic noodles with shrimp and chicken. it is a great portion of noodles, spicy, covered with plenty shrimp and chicken wings. my wings gotta be lemon pepper! don't sleep on the Warrior Dog either: it's loaded with sauce and proudly reps the Bay Area. once you order, you can wait indoors or head back to your car, and your card will sound off to pick it up! blue saigon stay ballin'

Tried the mango lemonade spicy garlic Parmesan wings and garlic noodles. Enough food to feed 2-3 people. 8 wings and good portion of garlic noodles. While I waited for my order several people ordered fried rice- might try this next time. Food was decent, nothing to write home about. Service was helpful with pointing out popular items and sizing of portions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance is an order and take away. They do have indoor seating but it is very limited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restrooms on site as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I see why things change over and over at this place, year after year. Then the other flimsy container full of food everything just fell out everywhere. This was a waste of $85. The $7 drinks, like the 50/50 omg! They charge you extra if you don't want ice. Bottom line, I asked for grilled shrimp with a char, I received some fried shrimp. So not only was shrimp and chicken piled into the ton of noodles the grease was also in the box gross .

I did see two tables so maybe you can dine in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So many things to choose from but they're definitely known for there garlic butter noodles which is garlicky delicious with there candy chicken wings which was FIRE! Did not realize they had a spicy candy version which I can't wait to go back and try. You can order 5 or 8 wings combo. The food is on point 10/10 recommend. Customer service was great after you order they give you a pager to let you know when your order is ready! Must try and enjoy!

We definitely love coming here. The food is always great, fresh & good portions. The staff greets you when you walk in and always open for questions and suggestions. We always order ahead because it can be a wait. Glad to see this business still operating and popular after all these years. There were a ton of people coming in and out for lunch, and alot of online and phone orders. A big tray of wings were ordered too! I got the chance to visit here, and I bought a fish burrito. It was great. It is true Viet fusion with the banh mi ingredients wrapped in a tortilla. Loved it a ton. I remember the warrior dog was delicious and the wings are great too. I enjoy the nostalgia of eating here, and I hope I can come back whenever I am in this area. I ordered on door dash and the flavors weren't compromised at all. Delicious! Garlic noodles are prob the best on this side of town and the spicy lemon pepper wings are some of the best I've had. Wings were fried hard without me even having to ask. We love that!

Let me first say that the food was incredible and good. The garlic noodles were tasty - they used thick Shanghai noodles, and the oyster sauce flavor came through, although I would say they could use more garlic. For the protein we got one with candy wings, which were good, and another with sisig, which I think was better than the wings although I thought the sisig was a bit too ginger-forward. But all in all their food was still super delicious. With that said, the service was beyond terrible. We waited about 40 mins for our food, to the point we almost gave up, but couldn't because we had to pay in advance so we already paid. Also they provided no free water - you gotta pay for bottled water. What restaurant in the Bay Area doesn't offer free water? [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was also not the best. Only a few seats available, and the kitchen played music from their boombox so loud we couldn't even hear ourselves speak[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

Came here to eat lunch at the infamous YouTuber My Nguyen brother's restaurant. The menu is a mix between Filipino and Chinese cuisine. Service was quick as it wasn't busy but its a smaller restaurant so ppl typically order to go here. We decided to dine in and ordered their garlic noodles, sweet fried chicken, and tried the peach and watermelon summer drink special. The fried chicken and noodles has a resemblance to San Tung restaurant in SF. I was quite surprised how similar it tasted. The combination of both the fried chicken and garlic noodles was a pleasant mouth bomb of flavors. We tried the fish tacos too and omg the fish was seasoned and batter was light but crispy. It reminded me of Vietnamese banh xeo batter in how it was light and crispy. I really loved all the food we got. I would love to come back and try more off their menu.

Love the wings! The lemon pepper is the best lemon pepper in the bay. A wonderful crunch and not too lemon peppery. They have great prices and the service is usually really good. I have ordered informally and as a large group and both times it was a good experience. I mean the food is good here but I have to say the customer service is terrible I'd literally just called them like 10 times and nobody's answering from several different numbers but on the website it says they're open but I can't get anyone to answer the phone so I guess I'm stuck with only One option and that's to go down there and wait 40 minutes persons food which I'm not gonna do I guess I'll just go to Moc crawfish they'll appreciate my businessI have to say they're doing really bad these days over a Blue Saigon read more

Last Friday was my first time eating from this place, I kept hearing about. And it was much more than I could have imagined, it was a wait but worth it. The guy at the front "owner"? gave excellent customer service, I had the pleasure to try the garlic noodles, spicy prawns and lumpia. Lumpia didn't make it home and them noodles and shrimp, I killed it with pure happiness and dancing while eating. I will be back for sure. read more

I'd recommend the wings, garlic noodles, and calling your order ahead! Not a super comfy place to stay and dine-in, but I keep coming back for more yumminess. They do make everything after you order it, so if you're in a hurry call ahead. Give this place a try if your tired of the "same old same old" - this place reminds me of foodie type places you'd find in Oakland or SF. read more

Amazing food, I love ordering the menu and recommend it too. I couldn't possibly recommend one thing because it's all delicious. Pulled pork is so tender, it's a must try. Pot stickers are outstanding. Such originality coming from this place and I can only see them getting bigger in the future. read more

Since if the best food in the bay. The most flavorful candyprawns. The candy wings are sweet spicy and so tender but stay crispy. The garlic noodles are literally perfect. I love the lumpia and they always have specials. Be sure to follow their instagram to find out about new deals. Thank you blue saigon for always filling my cravings and trust me when I tell you try the deep fried oreos. Everything on the menu is so good and the customer service is out of this world. I love it here. I order sisig fries, lumpia, and garlic fries. I've also ordered a burrito here before. Their food is great. Sometimes there's a long line and no seating which is the downside of coming here. I think they should move to another place for more seating for customers or renovate the place. read more

So I tried what most of these reviews suggested; candies wings and garlic noodles! Wow that shit is filling and really good (I usually have a big appetite) the garlic noodles are like a cheaper version of the Tanh Long's (Crustaceans) garlic noodles! The wings are crispy sweet and savory, I loved it. My boyfriend got the burrito with spicy chicken and he liked it but I thought mine was better. Who ever put "classy ambience" in the yelp description is funny as hell, it's more of a reliable hole in the wall with good food and decent prices read more

They take longer to make your food than they say, but it comes out tasting fresh, healthy depending on what you get, balanced, and pleasant. Besides, for the price I can't complain about the wait time. Their burritos are awesome. The portion size is generous as well, and the tortilla was even well toasted. Came here while on Jury duty. A great example of what fusion should taste and feel like. Felt like trendy comfort food and a fantastic selection of interesting items. Salty food with very slow service... And if you order multiple items, chances are some will be forgotten. I rarely drink anything with my food, but with this place, I downed my entire can of coconut water after about 5 bites. The fried rice was very salty and so are the fries (okay I get it, fries should be salty but when you put sisig on there, it's double-salted). We ordered a bunch of stuff and a couple items didn't make it to the table until we were almost done and went to the counter to ask where the rest of the order. We ended up getting the fried goodies to go bc we simply ran out of time. Now it's not all bad-- the warrior dog is good. So I would come back for that. The wings are fried well, probably one of the better ones around. It is a little salty on the lemon pepper seasoning. The candy wings are good but well.. It just tasted like molasses with red pepper even though it was describe as neither sweet nor spicy. The prices has increased. New prices are printed on printer paper and pasted over the original menu. So jus my note that in case you're look at older Yelp photos for price references. So I think depending on your preference and what you get, you could have a totally different experience. read more

YUM! I've never felt so proud to be Pittsburgian, Filipino, and fat at the same time! If you're on a diet, you won't be anymore. IT'S SO GOOD! This little gem is tucked away in that ugly plaza on Railroad where Starbucks is. It could be hard to miss if you're not from the area, especially since it doesn't exactly stick out from the streets. The inside is REALLY tiny, crappily furnished, and smells like lysol - not exactly my fave spot to enjoy my meals but A+ to their stellar service! The thing to get here are their "secret menu" Sisig Fries, but EVERYTHING is yummy here! You can't go wrong! I also really really love the Sweet & Salty Pulled Pork Burrito, which is pretty much carbs mixed with carbs wrapped in carbs. Really hits the spot, even if you're not craving it. Like the Sisig Fries, they have many other off-the-menu items like Bacon Glazed Donut Burgers or Shaking Beef Fries, so make sure to follow them on Instagram or look up #bssecretmenu for other fattening additions! read more

I came across Blue Saigon through Yelp. After reading through reviews, I was quote excited as they are very near me. My first impression of them is that they are just A-OK, but I am willing to give them another go because I have this nagging feeling that I simply did not order the right thing. I ordered through the phone for pickup. The guy I spoke with was very pleasant and quick, to the point that I was slightly nervous that there will be a mixup when I picked up my food (what can I say? I can be a rather suspicious creature.). But 15 minutes later, my food was indeed ready to go and they got my order right. Pickup was a breeze and that was truly appreciated as I was really in a rush. The staff were friendly and quick in handling my transaction. I ordered the candy chicken wings and the sweet and spicy pork with Spam fried rice burrito. I thought they could taste better. The candy chicken was good at first bite, but aside from the sweetness, there were no other flavors there for me. I thought perhaps they could season the chicken better next time before they glaze it, but it is not bad wings. As for the burrito, it seemed as though there was at least 70% rice and 30% meat. I like rice, but I was thinking "why do I have to eat my rice wrapped in a tortilla?" Even to me, it seemed like carb overkill. The flavors of the pork and the fried rice did not seem to complement each other well, either. But as I said, I put the blame on me for this lackluster first visit. I feel like I would like their other selections better. I am grateful that we have a new place in the area, though, and I will most likely return to try their other intriguing items. read more

Bomb! The hubby and I made it in the day of their grand opening and we weren't disappointed. The owner greeted and thanked us for coming in. I had the garlic noodles with the candy fried chicken for $7.50 and the hubby had the shrimp po boy for $7. I stopped in this evening for another taste. The prawns and garlic noodles ($10) are tasty a perfect comination. The hubby had the talapia burrito and said it was tasty, filling and the perfect size. The owner was there and like last time was pleasant, easy going and seems genuine. The prices are reasonable and the service is hospitable. It's a family affair and that speaks volumes! This place is AMAZING. Went in this morning to try their Mango Italian ice that I saw posted on Instagram & it was bomb! I definitely recommend it! Knowing that was good, I had to go back to try their food. Just tried their cream fried potstickers, thai iced tea with boba, & garlic noodles w/ candy fried chicken. All AMAZING! I recommend it all. We called in for take out & our order was done in 10 minutes. Great food, great service. A must try! read more

The sisig fries are BOMB. You have to get them when you go there... everytime you go there. Everything else I've tried is also good, but nothing is better than those fries. The jolly rancher ice is really good, too - especially when you add sprite and make it a slushy. read more

Me and my girlfriend came here... She got the spicy chicken taco, that was perfect!! I got he warriors dog and it was one of if not the best dog I've ever had!!. This restaurant in Pittsburg is remarkable for its vibrant blue walls with bright yellow trim. But you aren't reading this review for their interior design. Before I say anything about the food, I must comment on the music I've heard playing each time - Jack Johnson! Their food combines common Asian ingredients like carrots, ginger, basil, sprouts with tilapia, chicken, pork, and shrimp into Hispanic, American, and Vietnamese finger foods. Whether you are hungry for a burrito, taco, sandwich, noodle soup, or even a Warrior Dog, you should leave satisfied. Everything taste a bit different and it is all good. Friday 6/5/15. Happy Birthday to me. Needed a tire from Treadshed and was starving. Walked to this joint while getting tire installed to see what all the hubub was about. Very cool peeps working there, but word of advice. First time patrons can hear your gossip, so talking loud about folks may not be a good idea. I thought candy friend chicken was some legs, thighs, or breastasis man! 5 little wing arms. Not even 1 wing drumstick. I woofed it down. The noodles were greasy, and on the sweet side. A patient came into our office, recently opened in Antioch, and began to converse with me about different topics. We some how got on the topic of food. i complained to her about eating the same Micky D's, Inn N Out, Burger King, etc. But since i'm bot from out here i'm confined to the area I know. Long story Short, she begins to rant and rave about this Place called Blue Saigon. She tells me "you haven't lived until u try this place!!" she goes on there IG page and shows me the different asian infused foods they have. My stomach instantly fell in love. I decide to go days later and BOY AM I HAPPY I DID!! Its a small place and I don't recommend that u go during lunch. A lot of the teenagers from the nearby school will occupy every seat on the inside and out! almost impossible to sit and enjoy a meal during that time. The food is simply GREAT! I don't know why my order can take so long , the people who order after me got their food before me and the cashier wasn't that friendly. this is my forth time here. N this time i am really disappointed. I ordered my food and went to across Starbucks to bought drinks. I got my drink n return back n waited for an extra 30 mins for the food to be ready. The Garlic Noodle was a delight, with just the right amount of garlic infusion. The Garlic Parm Wings were crispy and flavorful. Used to LOVEEEE this place I would travel all the way from Brentwood to Pittsburg to eat the combo chicken with garlic noodles. Me and my boyfriend had take out a few days ago and now he's sick with food poisoning vomiting everywhere and he never gets sick but after eating that food he did. I didn't eat my noodles because they had a funky smell. Reading other comments it seems like you guys are somehow unsanitary. You guys have lost a customer! read more

Been here several times already, the staff gives 5 star customer service, which is huge for me. The food is fresh and delicious, my hubby is hooked on their warrior dog. I like their burritos, they're big. Only thing was when I went there this last time and they were slammed, the food was made in a rush and it wasn't the same as the few times before. Other than lacking consistency, I think this place rocks. read more

This place is AWESOME. They're famous for their garlic noodles, which I thought we're good. Very garlicy and yummy. I also had their tacos (tempura fried tilapia, spicy chicken and sweet and sour pork). My favorite was the tempura fried tilapia. The pickled veggies and sauce were FANTASTIC. We went for lunch and really enjoyed this place. It was of local origin to thetables.The food was delicious and you generally saw that it was very fresh.There can be no longs, especially on weekends. This has to be interpreted as a reflection of how good this place is. Also you cant miss the garlic noodles. read more

The food was good but I waited 45 minutes for my order, and 10 minutes into eating it, I was told they were closing and I had to leave. I thought it was restaurant courtesy to allow guests to finish eating before you close up shop. Especially if I waited 45+ minutes for my order. Bad service. Do better. read more

If you're an adventurous eater, you'll have enough choices to satisfy your palate in Blue Saigon. The only caveat I can give you is, don't order when you're hungry because it takes a little longer than most to get your food. read more
